Scott saw Theo in the sky and sighed. He was starving, but didn't care if he ate, knowing that no one else would care either. He wrapped his arms around his legs and thought about the 'school'. It was a horid place with the creepiest of things. They had been there for, how long? It had been so long that he lost track of how long it had been.

Kit's eyebrows lifted as he saw a shape moving in the distance. After a brief moment of adrenaline he recognized the person to be Theo. Kit stood to help the older boy. Despite being the closest in age to Theo, they didnt exactly seem to get along well. Then again Kit was a little more expressive than Theo was. Though that wasnt a bad thing. Kit was an expremely loyal type, almost like a puppy with a swift kick. He nodded to Theo and called, "Did it go well?"
Scott wanted to help too, but what was the use? What could he do with these people? He turned toward the edge of the field and though about flying toward the town and allowing them to catch and return him. It would atleast feel good to feel the wind under his wings. He forced himself back though. Even if they didn't care, these other bird-kids were the only ones he trusted.

Saturn followed Scott, seeing as he looked bored or unhappy."Scott, what do you want to do?"saturn said as she flew towards him. Saturn wanted to make sure he was okay. She stared at him as he sat there with his legs tucked. Then she brought over some food. "Don't you wanna' eat somthin'?"saturn asked as he just sat there. She was hungrey, but wanted Scott to be healthy and well fed. But seeing as she was the smallest and youngest, she was no match for them if they got into an argument. She had no fear of things, just fear of fear itself.
"What do you consider 'well'? If you mean I got away without a hitch, then yes, it went well. If you mean I got the food in a legit way, then no, it went badly." Theo handed Kit half of the food and put the rest down, gobbling up his own portion of the food for that night quickly.

"If he dies, then it will be God's will."
"If that was meant to be comforting, it was not."
"Everyone dies eventually. Once you are born, you begin to die."
"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
Saturn couldn't eat. Not after the way she had reacted to the needle. Would the erasers think to use that against her?. She only ate half of her portion of the food, still thinking about Scott and Theo. Theo was fearles and agressove , but Scott was quiet and kind. They almost looked like they could be opposits.
Kit couldnt resist a small chuckle that past over his lips, "Well, did you managed to get any bullet holes? If not then i think things went pretty well." The boy shrugged his shoulders making the feathers on his wings ruffle for a moment. Easily Kit scarfed down his portion. Having not been raised by parents he and the others stuffed their faces without any remorse. Heck why not right? Kit licked his lips savoring the meal he had just eaten. He realized just then that they may not have another meal for a while. A frown crossed his face as he tossed a sideways glance at his companions. What had he gotten them in to? Still, this was better than their cages.
Saturn decided to go and see Kit. She sat next to him with a small, shy grin on her face. "So where do you suggest we go tomorrow? Well we should ask Blaik to, but where do you suggest?"Saturn asked him, knowing that he might answer later. Since he didn't hear her, she flew up into the nearest tree and Lay on an extreemly thick branch. Just where would they go tomorrow?
Blaike sat quietly. Listening to everything and everyone. When Saturn began talking about the next place to go she quietly said, "As far from that place as possible." She didn't know if anyone heard her but she didn't bother to repeat herself again. Memories of the machine began flooding back to her mind. Her eyes stared out across the town and up at the sky. Everything seemed so serene, like nothing could go wrong. Not in a million years. But Blaike knew better than that. The world she lived in, nothing stayed peaceful for long. Her eyes glazed over as she stared out into the clear sky. Was being free too good to be true?
Saturn heard her."I think tha's a pretty good idea. I hated the school, and I'm glad not to be around any more needles."said Saturn as she flew over to Blaik. She was happy that someone had listened. She also saw that it was getting dark. "You guys think we should get some sleep?"yawned Saturn as she looked at all of them. She flew back up to the extreemly thick tree branch and deciced to sleep there. As she slept, she shivered violentley. It was really cold, and the sun was still setting. The others were down below. They looked happy.
