Kit tossed a glance at Blaike for a moment that could read, 'Need to speak with just you.' Still he forced a natural smile for the rest of his group and called out, "Alright everyone, take a rest until Theo gets back." He sighed softly and sat on the edge of their group. A few people looked their way but not enough for them to take much notice. Kit tossed another looked Blaike saying, 'Im ready to talk.'

Saturn decided to go and see Scott. He was always fun to talk to, even when they were in the school. He was the type that could make anybody feel calm. "So, Scott, I was wondering...ya' have some jokes up yer' sleeve today?"saturn asked him.
Blaike nodded towards him. "Rest will do all of us some good. Theo will be back in no time." She smiled and casually walked over to Kit, as the others settled near a tree. She hoped what Kit had to tell her wasn't going to be terribly awful news. Because, she really couldn't handle it. Possibilities and thoughts began to race through her mind. Once they were far enough away from the group she looked up at him, "What is it?" She asked, her light brown eyes wide with concern.
Kit looked behind him casually at the group before he turned back to her. His voice was low and easy as he said, "I saw a TV over there and on it i saw... Well i saw Maximum Ride and her Flock." Kit's eyes lit with excitement. "The stories were true. They are real!" he wanted to squirm like a little puppy because of this news but he resisted it. Instead he let his wild green eyes express it. "Can you believe it?! There are others like us that escaped!" kit was having a hard time supressing his feelings but he managed. "They said that they were last seen heading over the... uh... oh yeah, Mississippi river. I have no idea where that is but thats were they were last seen earlier this morning!"
As usual, Scott didn't hear her. No one ever listened to her cause' she was the youngest and smallest. She saw a tree and climbed into it. She didn't want to fly cause' she liked climbing. Also, she didn't want her wings to show. She hid them neatly behind her wind breaker.
Blaike's mouth dropped as a smile tugged at the corners of her mouth. "Really?!" Wow, Max and her group really did exist. Maybe they would run into them eventually? Maybe they could even help them! Blaike shook her head, there were so many thoughts coursing through her mind. "I can't believe it, I thought those were only stories! Guess those scientists are dumber than they thought, letting it happen twice in a row!" She smiled for the first time in what felt like days. She still couldn't believe the news that Kit had just told her.
Kit grinned along with her, "I know right." He grabbed her hand and gaev it an excited squeeze before he let go. "Do you think we can go looking for them? I dont know which way they are heading but they might be going to a big city or something!" Not to far from where the two stood a young teenage girl with a lab top squeeled with joy. "He made another blog! Fang made another entry!" Kit looked in her direction for a moment and was about to dismiss her when she exclaimed again, "He says Max and the gang are headed toward the north." Kit froze. The North? His own Flock had headed south...
Blaike jerked her head back to Kit after hearing the girl squeal. "I think we should. We won't be able to stay in one place very long. And it sounds like these guys are pretty popular." She turned back and grinned at the girl, who now had people gathered around her. She turned and smiled back at Kit. "What do you think?" She personally thought it was a great idea, like she said they couldn't stay in one place the fly boys would find them. Her heart began fluttering. This could be there chance to finally belong somewhere.
