Scott opened his eyes and gazed gratefully at Kit. He owed him so much. For the food and now saving his life. Scott slid out of kit's arms. "Don't do anything else for me," he said, flapping his wings to go ahead. Having to be saved and fed my Kit made him feel worse that he had ruined Kit's day probably. He felt the pain in his side, but it was leaving him. He shouldn't make the older people do things like that for him. He slowed until he was next to Theo. "Later I need to talk to you, when we land," he said, and swerved to the side to be by himself again.

Flapping her wings, Zemmie pulled up behind Kit. They were flying in the air, and she was getting hungry. The flock was hungry and injured, especially Theo. Though she herself wasn't hurt at all. "Are we going to stop soon?" she asked Kit, really addressing it to Blaike. "The flock is tired and i'm getting hungry." Laughing at her own joke, she sighed. "Dude, literally."

Kit opened his mouth to reply to the boy but as Scott sped off Kit stopped. He frowned slightly. It wasnt any trouble at all. Its what friends did for eachother. What family did for eachother. Now that they were on their own they could only call eachother family. Kit sighed softly and continued to follow Blaike until the sun had set. They continued a ways but managed to find a nice soft meadow to sleep in about 15 miles away from a town. Kit and the rest landed in the meadow with a few trees dotting here and there.

Saturn woke up to find Theo carrying her.She couldn't move her Right wing or left arm.She was glad to be alive, but she was bleeding.She saw that there was no more shooting.
"T-thanks Theo..."saturn said feebley. She was weak from being shot. Even at the school they had never used a gun on her. She saw the bullets hanging on her jacket and they fell off.The bullets had gone straight through her bones! She looked at kit and the others as they flew by.
"Are you ..... getting ...... tired?"Saturn asked Theo as he flew on.

Ic: Theo set Saturn down gently as he landed to the side. His side ached now, along with his arms from carrying the little girl all day. "Kit, you've been missing something important, every day," he said, almost as if he were chastising, but the cold look was gone from his eyes. It was placid, calm, as if his pains from the day before and that day had taken away his cold edge. "You should be setting a watch every night. Who knows what might want to sneak up on us. I took the watch the first night, but I couldn't the second, and I noticed that no one remained awake."

Scott saw Theo talking to Kit. After that was his chance. This might make him a friend. He stepped forward, then back. He turned on his heel and paced. There was nothing he would rather than do than talk to Theo. This meant a lot to him, but it wouldn't to anyone else. They probably wouldn't care about anything he wanted, but if this worked, soon he would have a friend named Theo.

Kit nodded softly to Theo, "I'll take tonight because im such a bird brain for forgetting." The boy chuckled lightheartedly but the truth was he didnt dare fall asleep. He couldnt, not again. The nightmares that tormented his every night were to much. He would take every watch from now on if it meant he didnt have to suffer through his sleep anymore. The boy grinned at his companions and nodded, "Have a good night everyone." With that he walked to the edge of the group and sat with his wings draped around his shoulders like a cape.

Saturn tried to sit up, but she couldn't move. The gunshot wounds kept her from getting up.
"Crudd...Theo...could you get... the First aid kit I brought...out of my windbreaker?"saturn gasped.
She turned to Scott who was nervousley pacing.

Scott saw Saturn in pain, and he knelt by her side, opened her windbreaker, and pulled out the first-aid kit. He did so without words, and handed it to the younger girl. He stayed there for a while, in case she needed help, then turned to Theo. "I need to talk to you alone somewhere," he stated.
