Zemmie smiled at Scott, then grimaced as she saw him fly away one he saw Theo. "Oh, c'mon, Theo's not that bad!" she called out to them. She felt really bad for the different guy. One, his wings were different. Two, just him wasn't the type of guy that makes friends that easily. She sighed and flew next to Theo. "Hey, it's fine," she murmured. "I mean, I guess I could be your friend. Not everyone thinks the same of you."
"Technically, in the school, we were separated by thick metal bars, Blaike!" Theo called over, before turning back to Zemmie. "My...friend, you said? And what makes you think I should believe you? the other experiments before you said they were my friend and then they used me. Surely you understand why I don't trust anyone?" You've been talking a lot today, Thea murmured. Sure have. It's starting to give me a headache. Oh, you silly. I don't get why the others don't think you're funny or anything! Probably because I'm not, because I'm the meanest person of their kind in the world to them? Shush. Thea was teasing, and kind, and Theo realized why she had claimed to be his other half. She easily went along with him, countering his gruffness with her playfulness, his grumpiness with her teasing.

"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
Saturn saw that the others were buissy and looked away. If they had anything to say to her, they could probly find a better person to talk to. She felt so alone, like she was in a cage again, no one to hug her, to smile at her, or comfort her. Her heart ,it felt, was sleeping somewhere cold.
Scott walked over to Kit. "Hey, if you need help on watch, it's not like I'm falling asleep any time soon," he offered. It was true. He wondered if Kit even cared. He dare not sit next to him or Blaike would glare him off. He just wondered. Did Blaike say a word to him ever, specifically to him? Or just the group in general and Kit were the only ones he ever talked to?

Zemmie nodded in agreement. "That's why I think i'm your friend," she replied smoothly. "Because I know you don't trust anyone. No one should, if they've been in your positions. So I'm trying to.. let's just say it this way, i'm allowing you a chance to experience a friend, one that won't hurt you. Because friends don't do that," she said. Zemmie blushed a little, embarrassed by her speech. But every bit of it was truthful.
Kit sent to Scott, "If it suites your fancy, i would very much like for you to join me." Kit patted the ground next to him and nodded. "I swear the ground wont swallow you up," He laughed for a moment and his wild green eyes softened with kindness. He easily bounced back from his exasperation from earlier. Making him seem all the more puppy-ish.
Saturn saw that Scott was calm, but no one noticed her, as usual. She knew she didn't have the only or worse problems out of the whole flock...but still being younge, she wished that she could at least be noticed by one person. The hole in the tree she was in felt roomy and comforting, so she didn't get up. She knew they'd sneer at her and tell her to go away again.
Blaike rolled her eyes and stood up. She walked a ways away from the group. She was tired. And she didn't feel like dealing with all of this. She sat down and looked up at the sky. It was just the night before where she thought everything was perfect. Now everything felt like it was falling apart once again. Her eyes were heavy, and she figured most of that was to do with the aching headache that now seemed like fire coursing through her veins with rising speed. Her breathing quickened, she tried to get her breathing normal but it was growing harder. Obviously getting upset didn't help her. This was horrible!
"That's far too kind of you. I don't deserve such a thing," Theo murmured back to her. Who's humbled our thorny Theo? Thea asked, astonished. I think it was you. It's all your fault. Good thing I'm around then, eh? She sounded happy that he was finally on the way to finding a friend. "I know things aren't easy for anyone, but...everyone knows only fear, and anger, and hope. Before I ever knew you guys, because they kept me apart to make sure my extinct animal's wings worked fine, I'd only known hurt, betrayal, and fear. Nothing else."

Scott's jaw dropped as he watched Zemmie and Theo. Why was he allowing her and not him? Scott was actually a guy that was a lot like Theo, even thought he hadn't gone through all the bad stuff like he did. He was an outcast, and so was Theo. He turned to Kit. "Uh, sorry, what was that? Oh! Okay. I'll stay, if you're sure that's okay," he stammered again. He shook away everything he knew about everyone, and sat next to Kit, being careful not to do anything dumb, nd staying tense, muscles uncomfortably flexed, and he would stay that way the whole night. Everything flooded back to him and he stood and strode away.
