Blaike had smiled at the fact he called her angel. Boy, did she wish it were true. Angels had nothing to worry about, they were sitting perfect in heaven. Her headaches came back. She let out a breathless scream. She shook her head, which wasn't a good idea, but still. She turned to the sky. If something was really out there watching over them, she pleaded to him to make the pain stop. The sun was about to rise and she turned to Kit, again, he was silently screaming and tears flowed from his eyes. "Kit!" She couldn't even begin to imagine going to sleep anymore. She didn't want to sleep and experience these nightmares. "Kit, Kit wake up!" She shook his shoulders again and again pleading for him to wake up.
Scott fell asleep later. He dreamed about all of the people that wanted to be his friend just to keep him from killing or hurting himself. Or everyone that wanted to be his friend to make him shut up. He woke with a jolt and saw the pale light of dawn. He wanted to stand, but it wasn't anything he could do. He looked at Blaike trying to wake up Kit. He snorted and turned away. He knew he was annoying, but it was payback for what everyone did to him. He wondered if Kit really hated him. He shook the thought away. Kit wasn't the kind of person to hate anyone.

Zemmie smiled. "So we're friends?" she asked softly. She let her hand out in a posture to which Theo was to shake it. A binding thing, she guessed. It made them sure that they were friends. Seeing the look in Theo's eyes, she knew he was surprised, flattered. She smiled. Scared, probably. I mean, seriously, Theo's first friend. Zemmie felt light. She felt as if she could bounce all the way to the moon. She was Theo's first friend..?
Kit's eyes flared awake and he turned to attack the one that woke him up. His eyes were filled with a wild light but he stopped himself mid punch when he realized who it was. The boy let out a sigh of relief despite teh headache still pounding away at him. "Thanks," he whispered, "Just wish i could close my eyes without worrying about these dumb nightmares." Blaike completely understood, he could see it in her eyes. The boys hands trembled from the night and he could resist letting them do so. "You my be dead tired Commander," he whispered, "Dont think you want to sleep though."
Blaike shook her head. She'd sleep, uhm, soon. She just simply could not bare the thought of falling into the cold icy hands of another nightmare. "We should probably head out." She murmured as she stood up and walked away from him. She sure understood, but the look in his eyes when he awoke? It scared her half to death. She had a good way of not showing it. But her eyes said something differently.
Kit watched her stand and leave. He scratched his hair for a moment before he stood to join her. He trotted at an easy pace to keep up. The rest of the flock had managed to sleep. Kit and Blaike made the rounds of waking them up. Kit walked to Scott and shook him awake, "Up and at 'im little man. Lets go." With that he trotted toward the tree that Saturn was still in. He knocked on it as if it were a door. "Come on little lady," he called up, "We cant move on without you." A smile carressed his lips as she peeped out from the tree. She didnt look at that enthused about the idea but she came down as he moved away.
Blaike watched all of 'her' flock gather together. There was a new light in Zemmie's eyes, and it made her hopeful that maybe they were doing the right thing by being out here. "Alright guys, we're continuing to go north. Let's go, before the day gets too started too fast. She released her wings, and it felt so insanely good. She ran and jumped into the air as her wings caught wind and she pumped them higher and higher. All this thinking and sorting through things was not helping her headache. But still, there was something weird going on with her and Kit, whatever they put in them, it wasn't to make them feel better. She knew she'd have to sleep eventually, because she could already feel her eyes growing tired, it wasn't going to be for much longer that she would be able to go without sleep.
Kit and the rest of the flock joined Blaike in the air. They soared high above the ground, toward the clouds so they could be hidden. The boy stayed at the back of the group, though normally he would soar up ahead with Blaike. He had snapped at her again but he had no idea why that happened everytime he woke up. It wasnt a good thing. Perhaps it was best if she didnt try to wake him at all. Despite the nightmares being horrid, if he hurt Blaike he would never forgive himself. He sighed softly but the breeze snatched away the sound quickly. The rest of the flock semed scattered as they flew. Blaike led the way, Scott flew toward the right side of the group on his own, Saturn did the same but on the left side, Zemmie and Theo however flew slightly closer together than usual. Kit lifted his brow, "And they think that Blaike and I are lovey dovey when we only get that close?" The booy shook his head and drifted to the left of the group. He had tried to befriend Scott last night and that turned in to a disaster. He would try Saturn this time around. "Hey there Saturn," he grinned as he soared beside her. "You know its not very warm if you continue you sleep in a tree. Why dont you come down next time and sit next to me or one of the others? I wont scare you away, i promise." He smiled at her again with soft eyes.
Scott listened intently to Kit talking to Saturn, and thought he'd try one of his jokes. He hadn't in a while. He swerved so his wings flapped about five feet away from Kit's. "I wouldn't count on it if I were you. It looks to me like Kit would eat about anything these days," he chuckled. His side didn't hurt from the bullet wound anymore, and his mind was determined to actually try today, even if the others didn't care.

Saturn laughed alittle, but didn't really talk. She felt like the hole in her heart was still empty. She liked the flock but... she didn't seem as important since she was like three times younger than them.
