Blaike had smiled at him but only for a moment. As her strength flooded into her veins, she pushed her wings on harder than she ever had before, soon she was side by side with Kit. They had to draw the fly boys away and fast.
"Thanks Theo."saturn said as she gazed at him. She turned."Where do we fly next?"saturn asked theo with little enthusiasm. He didn't want to talk to her anyways.
Ooc: Here you go, Ebbs :3 http://csotonyi.com/Argentavis.jpg
Ic: "Up." Theo pushed off, his wings spreading wide, and burst through the trees, disrupting a few branches and leaves as he lifted. He saw Blaike and Kit back behind them, not too far, and was sure that his enormous wings would be easy enough for them to see. He pumped, higher and higher, until he was well above any other flying creature, and he almost did a flip. It was good to be back in the air, although he wouldn't let anyone know that. His eyes, for a moment glittering, had now gone stone-cold, almost dead. It was better if he didn't show others how he felt. It was always the smart thing, he had learned early on. Being expressive only got you betrayed.

Kit and Blaike push on like to race horses trying to cross the finish line. The fly boys heard their wings beating and made stiff turns in the air to see them. The rest of the escaped group rose to the skies as well. Kit sent out a loud animal like growl as he came crashing down on top of one of the first fly boys.
Lucky my cage was large enough to allow me to teach myself some kind of combat. Theo thought, as he tucked his wings and dove, slamming onto one such flyboy as happened to be underneath him. "Down you go!" He muttered, adding a kick for good measure as he snapped open his wings. Another was coming upon him, he spun around, almost as if on solid ground -such was the strength of his wings - and he slammed the side of his foot on top of the flyboy's head. He wasn't sure exactly where their weakspots were, but slamming the head down was just fine for him. He didn't need to get any fancier than that.

One of the fly boys charged towards her and she made it fall to the ground with a swift kick to the head. She did the same to another one. 'They really should think about sending bigger patrols.' She added to herself. This wouldn't be so hard, as long as her and her team worked together, they could be out of this in no time and on their way to freedom. They needed to find a place to stay, somewhere they can hide out. The world wouldn't be ready for teen mutant birds. She laughed to herself and punched a flyboys head clean off and it fell right to the ground.
Kit noted that the patrol was defeated rather easily, which gave him a queasy feeling. It was almost as if this was just another one of their sick tests to see how long they could stay away from the school, or how well they interacted with 'normal' people. Still any chance at freedom he was going to grasp. "Lets move!" he called out o the flock and each one of them moved almost as one toward the north east. His powerful wings beat down against the air. He watched as the sun began to set against the sky, glad they had escaped before the lock down at night. With the cover of night they would be able to travel farther than they would if they were in direct light. The reddish brown haired boy turned his wild green eyes toward Blaike, as if waiting for her to give an order. Kit was more of a follower. A follower with a pretty mean punch.
Sending one more flyboy to the ground - the last of them - Theo flew up to join Blaike and Kit at a higher altitude. His eyes had gone dead again, for they had been livened up from the adrenaline rush of fighting something real, not just metal bars. He gazed far back, to the School, where no more attackers were coming. Then he looked forward, to the setting sun. The land was dyed orange, and red, and golden. It was indeed beautiful, and only a very slight intake of breath could be heard from Theo.

Scott caught up with Kit, Blaike, and Theo. He was deeply relieved that Blaike and Kit were with them again. "Welcome back you two," he yelled, his eyes lighting up with enthusiasm. He liked the other bird kids. They were fun to be around. Yes, even Theo. He just didn't feel accepted by them. They were all much better than he. Kit was friends with Blaike eternally, and Theo didn't want friends, and Scott felt alone. He liked to hang around them to give him only a sense of comfort and protection, but that was it. No friendliness or sense of being accepted by the others that were better.
Ooc: OMG this is just like me in real life!!
