"Like I said," She growled, "It was the only thing I could find. You should be lucky I even got you any." She looked at the old man. "So old man, where are we going? Hopefully not on another quest that Linny Boy over here has to do to save people." If they had a mission, she felt they should just get it done with. Not sit around and save people who have the power to save themselves if they were pushed enough.
Reever frowned at the young woman, "Well brat," he started off, "we are all going to do what we all love to do. Save more innocent people." His blue eyes flashed dangerously, but not without humor. "Linus, i think its best if we head in to a town to restock supplies. Im sure there will be someone there that needs your help. The least we can do is try. As for the rest of us, i think its just best that we keep a low profile and see if there is anything we can do to gather information." The old man scratched the back of his neck, ruffling the end of his peppered hair. "That is if all you whelps feel up to it."
ooc; I thought you guys who haven't seen this show should see how truly amazing it is =] Here's a trailer for it, you can probably pick out the Characters, the Seeker is Richard, the one you see the most in this, the Confessor is the pretty girl in white, The Wizard is the ridiculously cute old wizard, haha, and the Mord Sith are all in leather. =] It's a great show you guys should watch it! =]
IC: Let Linus save everyone all over again, what a joyous idea. Ha. Of course though she had to go along with him, what a pity. Power like he has would be useful to serve the keeper, unfortunately for her, he was next in line for the thrown. She ate her rabbit slowly. Savoring each bite. It was definately the best thing she'd eaten in days. "The next town is a place called Windsford. There'll be plenty of food there, and I'm sure plenty of people in desperate help." She added glancing at Linus. "It's a horrible place, perfect for the Seeker to ride in and save the day."
"Sounds like fun," Lin said, finishing his rabbit quickly. It was delicious, not stringy at all. He grinned, "I know you think it's boring, Alora, but saving people is pretty fun~" He knew he was probably the most happy-go-lucky guy on the team, but someone had to be. Reever was too old, Alora probably didn't have the power to feel excited or hyper, and...well, the Confessor was the Confessor. Hardly likely to crack jokes.
Ooc: This should be interesting. No Ebony X Gold or Ebony X Dusk

"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
OOC: Mwahaha! >=D My evil plot to play really old characters and make them unromancable is working! Mwahahahahaha!!! >XD
Reever frowned at Alora, "Well if you werent such a pretty young lass i would have to scold you." THe man shrugged his shoulders, "As it is i dont have time to waste on such younglings. Lets get to Windsford. Perhaps they have an inn with a good batch of ale. The last few we've gone to taste like dirt." The man had a soft spot for ale. Not enough to get drunk... only a little tipsy. The old wizard finished off the last of his rabbit and scratched the stubble beard he had. "Tasty little critter," he yawned.
Alora rolled her eyes at the old man, and at Linus. All these people cared about was food, shelter, people to save. It honestly made her sick. Stuff like that made people weak. Didn't they know that the only way to survive is to support yourself? Not waste your own health saving people. Save yourself.
ic: Carminda quietly listened to their conversation, while watching the rabbit roast. It was getting burned, so she took her part and gobbled it up. Delicious, she had to admit. It had just the right amount of fat and the perfect taste of meat. She sighed. "Guys," she muttered. "I'd say get somewhere where.. you know, we have a few places of food, and shelter." She laughed. "Gosh, staying out in the wild for a long time really is killing my bones."
"I thought you were used to it by now," Lin said, raising an eyebrow as he cleaned off the stick he had used to roast his rabbit. "Anyway, we should head off at dawn, for Windsford." He grinned; after all, it was quite fun to be the hero. Even if at first the people didn't want a hero.

Carminda smiled and got up, cleaning the rabbit stick. She stretched and let the dirt slide off of her already-dirty-clothes, a plain white dress. Her wavy brown hair was tied up in a loose pony tail with bracken, grass, and weeds tangled in it. Barefoot, she tried to stay clean. But it was almost impossible by the way the traveled. "And off to Windsford we go!" she sang, her eyes glittering with amusement.

"Slow down, it's not dawn yet," Lin chuckled, shaking his head out for the burrs that had got caught in its dark red tangles. He did his best to keep his ponytail - one that stretched down his back - smooth, but it was challenging. Ah well. Who cared? He took his bedroll from the pile of their supplies and unrolled it, laying down on top of it and gazing at the stars. "It's so beautiful up there," he murmured quietly.
