Scorchpaw left him with the fresh kill she had caught and went to hunt some more. She spied a mouse in the grass, and a hawk in the sky. The hawk dived after the mouse, intent on making it his supper. Scorchpaw waited till it had just landed then she leapt out and killed the bird, and the bird had killed the mouse. She carried both back over to Shadewing, who hadn't noticed the prey she had caught, and waved a paw at him. "Hey there! I caught some food for us." She exclaimed with a grin.
Ooc: Scorchie, earlier you were talking about how your apprentice had barely hunted before and was never good at it, and suddenly you bring down a hawk, with Tribe hunting methods, as if you've been hunting all your life?

"If that was meant to be comforting, it was not."
"Everyone dies eventually. Once you are born, you begin to die."
"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
ooc: going to make this quick~ going to school soon
ic: Lilyflower saw Resta and Shade talking, so she let her tail set gently onto Shadewing's shoulder and padded away from the siblings. They were most likely going to talk about his dream, and she wouldn't be wanted.. usually. Some things were just meant for secrets. She sat in the patch of grass, away from their chattering. Her eyes scanned the sky for any signs of danger, then the ground for cats. She couldn't pick up any, but perhaps that was just her. After all, one warrior's nose isn't as good as a whole pack.. right?
Shadowpelt let out a laugh before picking up his own prey and jumping up after Riverheart. The two cats were running through the trees on the branches until they got close, Riverheart led the way, as they sneaked up above the others. He saw his brother Shadewing talking to his sister. Of course he'd tell her everything. He hissed quietly, but kept quiet and waited for Riverheart's cue. It didn't look like the others had even taken a second glance that the two cats were up there.
ooc;; well i will have to make sure if my ancestor is all right with you, ebbs... [:
ic;; Looking away from her brother, Florestadream gave a heavy sigh, filled with worry. "StarClan has spoken, have they not?" she whispered. "I shall never doubt StarClan... but..." Gaining eye contact with her brother, she said, "Describe the cat again. Once more." She had heard everything, but what most intrigued her was the cat. He was obviously StarClan -- he had given them words to remember. But... Shadewing's description puzzled her greatly, and she couldn't get it out of her head.

Shadewing glanced up at her with puzzled eyes, "Uh... sure." He thought for a moment, "Lets see... He was a rather small tom. His fur was as golden as the sun but he had a white muzzle, paws, underbelly and tail tip. His eyes were somehow... achingly familiar. The most wild and outgoing blue eyes i've ever seen!" Shadewing looked up at his sister, "Also we cant forget the stars in his pelt." With a shrug of his shoulders Shadewing studied Florestadream's response.
Shadowpelt was still in the tree above them with a smile on his face. But that soon faded. So he was telling Florestadream about the dream! He flicked his tail to Riverheart to keep silent. As he listened to what the two were talking about. 'Also, can't forget about the stars in his pelt' Shadowpelt's eyes grew wide. His brother had been visited by a StarClan cat?!
She seemed to study her paws as she decided how to respond. "He's dead. Obviously. Sorry, stupid comment. His eyes were blue... Like yours. Maybe not as cool though." She smiled and winked at her brother, but it lasted for a second, as Florestadream bit her lip once more and studied her paws. "His fur is practically the opposite of ours..." Looking at him with a concerned face, she said, "If you ever see him in a vision again, question him, Shade. This is a little troubling... Not only are we now on a quest, but... We have a mystery cat on our paws." She knew she sounded stupid at the moment, but the right words refused to touch her tongue, causing her to talk in a rather kit-like manner.
