As soon as she saw Shadewing was going, Florestadream's body calmed and she looked away. "I'll go find her. The rest of you should head out -- we all already lost enough time today," Florestadream said, turning away and as she stalked away without anyone else saying anything to her or eachother, paws barely touching the ground. She heard a yowl a ways away, and quietly padded towards it. She couldn't tell if it was Scorchpaw or not yet. But as she neared the sound, slow step by slow step, she saw Scorchpaw's flustered face, and in front of her stood another cat. Her ears flattened against her head as she casually walked to the apprentice and laid her tail on her back. "There you are." Her body seemed calm but she was alert mentally.

Ooc: Scorchie, his name is RIVERheart, not RAINheart.
Ic: Riverheart shook his head and they padded off. First the two got in an argument, then Scorchpaw got herself lost. Would they ever get on the right track? "Well, whatever. Let's head off." Riverheart took the lead, nose to the ground, to the air, to the ground, and back to the air, searching for any scent of other cats.

"Everyone dies eventually. Once you are born, you begin to die."
"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
Why had he even apologized if Shadewing wasn't going to accept it? He sighed and padded after Riverheart. Fine, if Shadewing wanted to act that way so be it. He'd apologized, that should have been enough. He padded next to Riverheart. "You shouldn't feel unlucky without a family." His voice boomed, "They never see things your way. Always theres." He muttered.
"Whatever you say," Riverheart answered, grinning. "You've still got that unbreakable companionship. I'd trade places with you any day." They padded on together, and there were still no signs of rouge cats.

Shadowpelt rolled his eyes. "I'd trade places with you as well." He muttered. Why didn't Shadewing get it? Why did Shadowpelt have to be the bad one? Well, that question was dumb, he thought to himself. Because that's who he was, he stood his ground when others didn't. He was fierce, and he liked it that way. It taught others not to question him. Even if it did upset his brother, so what.
Shadewing had kept silent through Shadowpelt's exchange with Riverheart. It wasnt that Shadewing didnt accept his apology... It was just that since he had apologized he had moved on. Sure it was alright for Shadowpelt to do things that way but not SHadewing? Did he have to say, 'Oh dear brother think nothing of it! It was all my fault too! I didnt mean to say the mean thigns i said. Oh will you ever find the kindness in your heart to forgive me back?' Honestly... Shadewing had nodded his acceptance and turned away as he reply, just as Shadowpelt had done countless times. He ignored his brother's complaints now as he talked with his new best friend, Riverheart. Shadewing felt sick inside now that Shadowpelt seemed to not was to try and forget about things as well.
Feeling no absolute need to burst into their conversation, Lilyflower padded a few mouse-tails behind Shadowpelt and Riverheart. She took their conversation in, considering every word they say. No, she did not agree with Shadowpelt. Yes, she agreed with Riverheart. Having a family meant you weren't alone. It meant that you could always give your worries to them, you could always be with someone. Even if they were as annoying as heck. But she had none, and neither did Riverheart. They. Were. Alone.
Scorchpaw saw Floreststream and stood abruptly still. The other cat had stopped laughing and was staring at them with a grin."Hi there, my name's Stork. Wh are you folks?"he asked Scorchpaw and Floreststream. He was very energetic."Er...my name's Scorchpaw...this happens to be Floreststream."Scorchpaw replied. "Scorchpaw? That's a cool name! Complements your black paws. Your names cool to! Floreststream...it has a nice ring to it."Stork replied. "I've got a friend named Snipe. He'd be glad to see you! We've traveled from farmlands to find a new life cause some no-furs burned our homes down."he explained."No-furs?Do you mean the pink things on legs? We call them Two-legs."Scorchpaw replied.
Shadowpelt glanced behind him to see Lilyflower. "Got something to say?" He murmured looking forward again and then back at her. She'd been listening her could tell. She'd walked right behind them for a good ways and once they stopped talking she'd dropped her pace. He slowed his own and was padding next to her. "It's not polite to eavesdrop ya know dear." His deep voice chuckled, putting his thoughts off of his brother for at least a little bit.
"Two legs? That's a wierd name for them. I think I'll stick with no-furs. So, where are you from?"Stork asked. Suddenly, another cat came out of the bushes."You shouldn't be out too long Stork. Might get killed."said the other cat. His fur bristled as he looked at the other two, Scorchpaw and Floreststream. "Who are they? Not your new lady-friends I hope?"he rather ryly asked."No, of course not! I've just met them! Anyway, this is Scorchpaw, and this is Floreststream. They just came out here."Strok replied."Now, how did you get out here Snipe? Not to much trouble?" scorchpaw stared at them with an amused light in her eyes. They were funny when they argued, but they were also could-be recrutes. "We come from this forest, and we are looking for cats to join our clan. Would you like to join?"she asked, staring into their eyes."Sure, I guess. At least your not looking at your paws like them other shy she-cats we've seen."Replied snipe. He looked alot older than Stork. Scorchpaw explained why exactly they needed other cats, and felt nervouse. What would the others say? Two cats come walking by when she gets lost? They'd be pretty mad. "Oh, by the way, I heard you'r argument about the can openers. You know, the pink hairy things?"Snipe said. "I call them can openers because of the way they serve food to the suck ups that eat out of them. You know, the cats that live with them?"he explained."Oh..yeahh...we use the term two-legs for how they walk."scorchpaw replied."Allright. We'll definatly join! I mean, we do need a place to live, and we should do our part to help!"said Stork. "If ya' say so Stork. Just be carefull. We don't know what we're gettin' into."Said Snipe.
