I plan on it dear Mossie!!! Chapter Three is in progess right now!!! I'm super duper excited! I have plans for other stuff to come that we haven't RP-ed with yet =]] Hehehee
As Kit slept, the pounding formed in his head. With every heartbeat, his body screamed in pain. Memories of the drug that the men and put into his arm came flooding back, and the blood in his veins felt like they were on fire once again. He shook and shivered through the entire night as the pain grew increasingly worse, yet he couldn't bring himself to wake up. But soon the pain vanished and the warmth of the son caressed his face. He rubbed his eyes to fully wake up and he took a moment to stare at the sunlight dancing through the trees. He smiled softly to himself and began to wake the others up. "Alright you guys, its a new day, come on we gotta get moving." He shook each of their shoulders and they all sat up and yawned and stretched. He turned to Blaike, but she was already awake, and standing. "Alright Commander," He said to her. "Where too next?" Kit noted that she looked a little shaky, and her fingers were pressing to her temples.
"We need to find a better place to sleep from now on." She muttered. "But anyway, I say we head to a city." Her fingers dropped from her head as if to look like that never happened. Kit was smarter than that though. She continued, "If we find a city, it'll be a lot harder for anyone to find us." Kit stared at her for a moment and they locked eyes. He couldn't read her expression, but he did see a painful look in her eyes. He clapped his hands together turning to the others.
"Alright all! You heard the commander! Let's get moving!" He turned and nodded to Blaike. He'd probably ask her about the headaches in the air. Now didn't seem like the appropriate time. He unfolded his wings out of his jacket, and let his red feathers cascade down his back. The Scientist had given him parrot wings. Another one of their brainless concoctions.
Zemmie was the first in the air. She pumped her wings higher and higher before looking down and calling out, "Come on you slow pokes!" She giggled and flew higher.
Kit let out a laugh and jumped up into the air himself. His wings carried him gracefully in the sky and he looked down and watch the others take flight also. Blaike was the last to take flight and when she did she took the lead a few wing spans in front of the others. He wanted to give her a bit of space before he questioned her about her headache. Because she still wasn't acting like the normal Blaike, and that troubled him quite a bit. He was curious himself though, about the headaches. He was getting them too, and the scientists had injected him with something, perhaps they did the same to Blaike? She looked behind her, probably to check with the flock, she locked eyes with Kit for a split second and then she turned forward sharply. She probably knew what was coming.
He began to gradually increase his speed so that he was flying just above her, so that there wings would have enough room to continue on flying. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asked gently. Well, as gently as one could with the rushing wind, but still quiet enough for only their ears.
She kept quiet, pretending that she never heard him. She did this a lot, putting on a fake mask and pretending everything was perfectly alright, so that he wouldn't worry or fuss. But that wasn't his nature, sure he worried about her, as well as anyone else in the flock, but it wouldn't baby anyone. He decided to take a more blunt approach and muttered, "I'm having them too, are they extremely painful for you as well?"
He could tell that got her attention. Her eyes flashed towards his, but she continued to stare forward before she muttered, "Yes, and it seems as though they're increasing as well." She paused for a moment. "I don't remember much. After the machine, well...I uhm," She choked on her words. "I went unconscious because whatever that machine did was far too much for me too handle. Before they flipped the machine on, they injected something in me, they may have been planning to do the same to you, did they inject you with something?" She asked, turning towards him now.
He nodded. "Right before Amelia brought me the key." He pondered for a moment. What could they have been trying to do? And what exactly was the machine anyway? Thoughts continued to run through his head as they all flew on.
They finally came to a place with a sign that read, "Texas." There were tall buildings and it looked like the perfect place they could hide out. Blaike noticed it too and motioned for the flock to all land. Once they did, they all tucked their wings into their jackets and made there way through the streets. Never had Kit seen so many people! Everywhere! It made him rather uneasy, the rest of the flock too. A few people looked them over, a few didn't even take a second look, one of the men even gave Blaike an up and down and he wanted to bash the man's face in but he didn't. For obvious reasons.
The group continued to walk forward taking in everything. They saw green ahead and quickly changed their pace. There, finally something familiar. It was a park and Kit sighed with relief. The city was starting to make him think finding it wasn't such a great idea after all. There were so many people, And different kinds of people too, he really didn't know how to take all of it.
"Okay, I'll go and get some of the necessities." Theo said, rubbing both his hands together quickly. "Don't miss me too much!" And with that, he escaped into the mass of people. Kit went to go after him but stopped when he got across the street, a large, flashing, square box behind glass caught his attention. There was a woman sitting behind a desk, looking very professional. He knitted his eyebrows and began listening.
"In other news," She began, "The miraculous bird kids have made another appearance today." Kit's blood ran cold when he didn't recognize anyone that came across the screen. "Maximum Ride and her 'Flock' have managed to stop an underground corporation and we managed to get a conference with them." The girl that came across the screen next was beautiful. Her brown and blonde streaked hair was tussled around her face. She was stiff, as she stood next to five other kids with wings. Kit's mouth dropped. Could this be the Max that escaped the school? Of course it was! This was insane!
"So," the man who was interviewing them started, "How long have you known about the underground organization?"
"Since the day I was born?" Max snapped and crossed her thin arms over her chest. It seemed as if she was growing rather tired of all this. A boy in her group with large wings and pale hair high fived a younger boy who was snickering.
"How did you know how to stop it?" He asked, a bit flustered.
"Would you believe me if I told you it was a voice in my head?" she growled. The two boys let out a huge laugh, and the darker girl in the group ever so slightly touched her wings with his, it was barely noticeable but Kit noticed. Each of the kids jumped high into the air, "Gotta go." Max chuckled, "As fun as this was, bad guys to stop ya know?" Kit's wild green eyes grew extremely wide. He quickly left the crowd that was gathered in front of the TV, before he was out of ear shot, he heard, "The group was last seen today heading over the Mississippi River earlier today."
Kit managed to get back to the group and threw an excited look at Blaike that said, 'I need to speak to you.' She nodded and left the group alone. Kit grabbed her gently by the arm and took her over to a tree out of ear shot. His eyes were wild with excitement. "There was a TV back over there," he pointed, "And well, I saw Maximum Ride and her Flock!" He exclaimed excitedly. "Can you believe it! The stories were true!" He felt like jumping up and down like a little kid but he managed to contain his excitement, somehow. "They were last seen heading over the uh...Oh yea! The Mississippi River! I have no idea where that is but they were there this morning!"
He watched at Blaike's mouth dropped and a smile tugged at the corners of her mouth. She brushed her long blonde hair out of her face and her light brown eyes glittered with excitement. She shook her head. "I can't believe it!" She whispered excitedly. Kit watched her face completely light up, which only made him even more happy. He grabbed her hand and gave it an excited squeeze before he let go, "We have to find them." Just as he was about to discuss direction, a young teenage girl with a weird looking device screamed out, "He posted another blog! Fang posted another entry!" Kit looked in her direction for a moment and was about to dismiss her when she said, "He says he and Max and the rest of the gang are headed North!" He froze. His team had gone the complete opposite direction.
People had begun to gather around the girl excitedly. "We should go!" Blaike expressed excitedly smiling at Kit. "These guys seem rather popular so it won't be like we don't know where they are. I say we find out where the Mississippi River is and travel North from there!" Her eyes were dancing with Joy and Kit really couldn't say no. He heard something and turned and saw Theo coming up, with a slight limp that looked like he was favoring his side. Kit's excitement died for a moment.
"Guess I don't need to ask you how it went." He muttered. There was a rip off of the boys shirt that was plastered to his wound. With the exhilarated healing rate, he knew it would be closed soon but still.
"Ah this? Nah, its nothing." Theo grunted. "I got the goods though!"
Kit frowned deeply at him. "Get some sleep Theo, you look like you need it."
As if answering him, Theo broke into a huge yawn and collapsed against the tree and fell asleep. Kit saw on the ground next to Theo that he had grabbed a geography book. Kit opened it and began thumbing through the pages until he found a full map. He found a little dot that said Dallas, Texas. Which must have been the city they were in. He looked around the map and found a long squiggly line that had the words, 'Mississippi River' across it. His eyes lit up and he pointed it at Blaike. Blaike's smile returned. "We'll head there in the morning." His head was pounding but he couldn't suppress his excitement. He grabbed her hand again, gave it a squeeze and then shut the book. Tomorrow was going to be a very interesting day.

Lol, love how you actually represent almost all of the characters :3 the only sad thing with two perspectives is that you'll lose a bit of each other person's story, because Blaike or Kit aren't always with everyone. But other than that, it's awesome~ oh, and in chapter three, with the t.v., the reporter says "So, how did you find out about the underground organization?" and Max replies, "Since the day I was born?" It doesn't flow right. I think the original had the reporter saying "How long have you known about the organization?" :3

"If he dies, then it will be God's will."
"If that was meant to be comforting, it was not."
"Everyone dies eventually. Once you are born, you begin to die."
"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
Ooooh I didn't realize that with the interview =] I'll have to go and change that, thanks! And yea, I was thinking about that while writing chapter three. It would be hard to write it in everyone's perspective though. :) I'm glad you like it though!
I must say, evey time i read this, the more and more i love it!! XD Please keep making more bud!! XD Its great! I just love reading every last bit of it!!!!
