Normandy lifted a brow at Rin's transformation. The image of Pakh and Maze came to his mind. He had easily defeated those pathetic wolves but this was a different story. This wolf had a different feel about her. Normandy's mouth pulled in to a vicous snarl but he did nothing. He wasnt in the battle right now. His son lay motionless after his great fall from the sky. Whether or not he was dead left to be seen. Normandy fluttered on the breeze. Neither side was advancing or retreating. The great king threw back his head and let out a resonating howl. It was dark and terrifying in all its deep luster. Many shades turned and fled at the call while others took to the sky to protect Normandy. The battle was over for today. He would be back however. Before he left his yellow eyes fell to Cloudandis. She still interested him greatly. Before he left he gave her a mocking gentleman's bow. With that he began his journey back to his citidel.

Cloudandis bleerily stared after Normady, not able to take it any longer. She collapsed in a heap on the ground as shades ran past. One of them stopped and looked at her, and it was the scout shade. Befor it could move, she slammed it on the ground and tossed it into the air towards Normady. "lets see how he does with a dead bird..."she muttered as she fell into a sleep that would take a while to recover from. But as she rested, she called out one final thing: "What do you understand Normady?! What do you understand?!

ic: Cloudandis woke up in Jupiter's Healer den and found that her wounds were patched up. She looked around but couldn't see any one and got up. She padded out of the den and saw Rin. She padded over to Rin, with a dizzy feeling in her head. "Where's Norm? Did we win?" she asked with her empty tone and expression.

Her bright red glowing eyes looked to see Cloudandis. "We won.... But we lost at the same time. Lorak was knocked out before he could kill Normandy." She growled as she wrapped her wings around her body. "The good news is we weakened their numbers." SHe sighed. "Cloudandis, What is Snowpack to do to survive?" She shook her head.

" I do not know. But why didn't you attack Normady when you had the chance? You could have defeated him. At least we are alive." Cloudandis said. She still felt weak from the fight. "Di I kill without stopping? Did I kill Kiya?" she asked Rin. She had never killed a Snowpack wolf, not even a traiter. Not untell a few hours ago. "Normady said something to me. I don't know what to do about it. And I don't know if he will come and ask again."

"Kiya was cut off from snowpack the moment she joined with Normandy. You just killed an evil wolf." Sigh said looking over at the battlefeild of dead shades. Their blood stink and stung Rin's notrils. "We need to plan an invasion." She said turning her head to Cloudandis.

ic: " Yes, you're right. But we cannot just barge in like we own the place." Cloudandis said in her empty and calm tone. "I think that we should try something like that once we've been fed. I'll go ask Aiano If we can hunt." she added. SHe padded off towards Aiano's den, but stopped for a few minutes. Something still bothered her. What Normady had said was still ringing in her ears. "Why do you hate me so much little one? Why would you hate me? I've done nothing to you. In fact you interest me greatly. What has you pack ever done for you eh? I've watched you before. They don't respect you. They don't even understand you. I do though. I can see that beast inside you and it excites me. I feel a rush at seeing you kill. I have to say I haven't been quite this taken with anyone except Lorak's mother."

The words he had spoken chilled her. What did he understand? His parents hadn't killed themselves over him. But... the pack... he had made a few points, but not many. And if she joined him, wouldn't he just use her as he had used Kiya, the one she had killed? He hadn't cared to see her in pieces. He had just laughed at her. Laughed at her because her crimson red blood had been splattered all over Cloudandis's pelt. And he had said that he had felt a rush at seeing her kill. What was so good about that? Being  a bloodthirsty beast was supposed to be a good thing? Being a monster?

Cloudandis felt more alone in this than ever. Even the one who had made her Beta disliked her. Ever since they had found her with blood splattered all over her pelt, they had never liked her as more than a mere high rank pack member. She was the only one that had known what had happened to her parents. No one had even asked her. Did they think she had killed them?

All of these thoughts swam in her head. But she threw them aside. Why should she pity herself over the pack? She had lived with knowing that they may have thought her to be a murderer. But what really bothered her was that they had never asked her how it had happened. Not once. And yet that was also a good thing. If she had told them, they wouldn't have believed her.

Cloudandis looked across the battle field. They hadn't cleaned up the dead shades, and Kiya's dead body was still in the clearing she had dragged it in. Her throat was torn open, and her tail was ripped off. Her face looked like ripped hamburger. And Cloudandis had done that. But she had never givin pity to an enemy.

Cloudandis decided that if there was someone she could talk to, it would be Lorak. She padded off to find him laying down. "How are your back and wings? Not to damaged I hope." She asked him with her empty tone. " I need to ask you something. When I was a pup...you and the others had never asked me what had happened to my parents. And Normady said that he understood something. Do you think he knows what had happened?" Cloudandis asked him.
