Warrior Cats: The Four Clans

Jupiter's head shot up. He grumbled, he was just dozing off for a few minutes. Some peace and quiet would do him good, definitely, but a stupid little wolf just HAD to get himself injured or something. He sighed. "Oh Rin," he said, annoyed. "What in the name of StarPack would you want?" He blinked his red eyes, slowly and tiredly, while waiting for Rin to run over to him to reply.

"Have you made sure we have the nessisasry herbs for healing? It's hard to find them and I wanted to make sure, just in case we have to get on the move again from the shades." She growled giving Jupiter a competitave glare. Rin had always been this way, She was taught by the pack that raised her that this mess of a world used to be beautiful, that made Rin mad, she wanted to se the beauty.

Lorak tossed a side ways glance at his alpha, ever since he was born all he had known were these unbearable wastelands. Nothing but dead marshlands and twisted trees. There was hardly ever something decent to eat. They usually ended up having to kill shade bait in order to eat. The small black creatures with glowing yellow eyes had no true shape. They were just like shadows that could be eaten.
Lorak didnt answer right away, he let his mind think for a moment about the king of all this land. "Its as good as can be expected," he mumbled. Lorak's green eyes flittered up to glance at the distance. Far beyond where any of Snowpack wished to go was the dark fortress of the greatest shade of them all. The dark wings that carried the demon were see through and ominous. Horns grew from the dark creature's head and glow yellow orbs stared out past the ever shifting fog like smoke that made of the shade's body. Not long ago the shade had taken a name, not often done by shades, let along shade princes. The creature called himself Normandy, a great jest to himself.
Lorak shuddered inwardly at his father's name. He couldnt help it. He wasnt exactly sure how on earth he had come to be. His mother had never told him, she couldnt. She had died giving birth to the spawn of a demon. Lorak never really met his father, save for the few times you could see the beast flying against the sky. Despite the great sizes of all teh shades, Normandy wasnt the biggest. He was three times larger than your average wolf with thick hornes adorning his head. The teeth that occupied his mouth were like jagged rocks that one would find at the bottom of a waterfall. In essense, Normandy was a nightmare come to life... And Lorak was his son.
