Lorak nodded to himself nothing but the sound of his own heart beating resounded in his ears. Aiaona's breath was the only other thing as well. THe shades were coming fast. Adrenaline raced in the he wolf's viens. THis was it! The fight! He wanted it so badly. The shades growled and snarled. Not all were the shade of wolves. Some looked like twisted bears and other unnameable creatures. A few lesser shades cowered at the presense of the half prince. Lorak had no idea why they always cowered in fear just from his presence but whatever kept the alpha alive was good enough for him.
Cloudandis attacked again and again, running at the shades. Several of them scrieched, but it was fitile to make her cringe in fear. She shredded them and ripped them to shreds, but no light danced in her eyes, nothing was in her, because she couldn't feel anything. When she fought, she was empty, even her mind. She could only see darkness as she fought the shades. Her heart stilled, but suddenly, a shade attacked her and pinned her down, ready to tear her throat open. She still didn't feel emotion. She just fought, but couldn't get the shade off.
Jerking up, Jupiter felt his heart racing. Something was wrong. He could feel it. His pack, his home pack, was in trouble. Grabbing cobwebs and marigolds, and as much of the rest of the herbs as he could use, Jupiter raced to where his nose led him to. And boy, was he right. There was a fight. Shaking his head, the healer found a mossy spot, a while away from the war, and set his herbs there. Making a few nests for the wounded cats, Jupiter grabbed the marigold and started running, putting as much as he could onto as many wolves as possible.
Cloudandis had dislodged the shade, and was ripping it's throat out.She saw another one- and it was headed straight for alpha. She charged at it and pinned it to the ground, not making a bark to signify the start of the fight that was against the rest. Her teath ripped and tore, and she shattered it's legs. The shade was still alive, and crying for mercy, but Cloudandis could not fee anything, not even pitty for the screiching creature. She smashed it's bones and ran towards the next shade, mercelessly ripping them to tiny bits of darkness. Her claws scraped darkness, but she could feel the fur of animal shades.

"I'm going deeper," growled Aiano, paws guiding her deeper into the mass of Shade's. However, not even ten steps in, she was challenged by a Shade that resembled a bear. Skidding to a stop, she attempted to go around but it just kept blocking her. Because of that she shrunk back for a second, following up with an attack to its throat. But because it was so much larger than her it merely threw her off by shaking its body. The Alpha would not give up. With a deep growl resonating in her throat, she pounced once again, eyes a deep red in the Shade's presence. "I... Don't exactly love fighting... But my claws are my Pack's...," she began, being thrown off once more. "My fangs... Are my Pack's...," she added, going for the Shade's paws. "And my heart, is my Pack's!" Aiano finished, eyes wide and stature fierce.

Lorak battled off a lesser shade that had tried to join the alpha's fight with ease. He turned quickly to aid her as she continued to attack the larger creature. Lorak's long legs easily let him glide over the ground and attack the creature's back legs. The shade's rage filled yellow eyes turned over its shoulder to inspect the wolf that offender. Lorak nipped and bit the back legs though the shade lifted the ones he was trying to bite every time he snapped. With this the alpha might have enough time to kill it.
Thanks to Lorak, there was an opening for Aiano, and she swiftly grabbed the large Shade's neck in her powerful jaws. With a sickening snap the shade fell down. But without hesitation, the Alpha stepped harshly on the neck, just in case. "Keep going farther," she whispered, watching as the lesser Shades froze at her friend's appearance. That would keep the bothersome ones away, but in a second a Shade managed to get near Aiano and knock her over. Gasping for breath, she tried to stand but the Shade's paws kept her pinned down and still gasping.

Rin ran fullspeed into a shade that was about to attack Cloudandis. "Be more careful!" She yelled to Cloudandis as she swiped at the shades head, giving it a claw to the face. She soon pulled back and bit it's leg. As the shade grew arngrier, Rin came in for another blow, but she reveived a blow herself. She was knocked on her back as the shade punced on her. SHe used her hind legs to push it off her and got back up. Rin ran for the final blow to the dazed shade's neck, leaving it on the floor lifeless. She turned to Cloudandis, "Come on I think their after the pups, Hurry!" She said ruinning farther in to protect the pups.
