Rooke was completely quiet. It was all he could do to keep from screaming in excitement. He patted Storm Stallion's neck and rode on. Rooke looked around, and saw a small group of wild deer, too small to worry about. It looked like it had some babies. He picked up his binoculars and rose them to his eyes, and he saw something so grotesque that he thought he would fall. Yes, it was a red deer, sort of. It had giant antlers though. It had the markings of a tiger. Instead of hooves, it had paws with 3 inch, razor sharp claws. The teeth were so sharp they looked like they could cut through a tree. The legs were long, so they looked like they could run faster than a cheetah, with more stamina too. The eyes were an evil red, and they stared at the passing group of people. Rooke shivered, and nudged Simon. He pointed to the red deer. Then he noticed something else. On the ground, underneath a buck, was the half-eaten carcass of a mountain lion...

Simon stared at the beast with recognization. "Rooke...that's the thing that killed my sister." he told Rooke. Rage filled him, but he didn't move for fear that the creature would attack them. The carcas of the mountain lion looked like most of the meat had been picked clean from the bones. It looked like some type of fantasy monster from the everday cartoons some kids watched. But it was real.

Ooc: Twiggy, you can be at the roundup, maybe see us staring at something, and then join in on the fun!

Ic: Rooke wanted to throw up. The thing was repulsive. "We can't let anyone know about this," he whispered, shaking with fear. He swallowed, but it stuck in his throat. He hoped no one else saw the creatures. Then, an idea hit him. If someone could make a bloodthirsty creature out of a deer, he couldn't imagine what they could so to mountain lions or other animals that lived for blood without mutation. He tried to take his focus off the animals, but it was too much. Too scary.

ic: Simon agreed with Rooke. At least he had found what had killed his sister that year ago. "I think you're right. But that creature...it looks like the one that killed my sister. What do we do about it?" he asked. He wanted to kill it, but Rooke was probly better at deciding that. Stark was nervous and had begun to sweat. He didn't like that thing. It was creepy.

Rooke shrugged slowly. He wanted to kill it too, but that would cause such a ruckus. He couldn't take his horrified eyes off the animals. What in the world were they? Who created them? He couldn't move. Storm Stallion fidgeted nervously. Someone behind him shouted at him, and he jerked his eyes toward them. "Move it kid!" It was a man, and he looked annoyed. Rooke clicked to his horse, and then looked back to where the deer were. They had moved a little, and a buck was dragging the carcass with him. Rooke shivered again, terror rippling through his body.

Simon stared at the man. "Go the other way, we're buissy." he told him. He didn't want to let that beast get away. He stayed by Rooke, but felt Stark trembling. The creature scared him, and he wanted to run from that area as soon as possible. Simon stroked him to try to make him feel better. "Trust me, I don't suggest you go over here."he said in a feirce voice.

[Ok, but dont blame me when I rp something wrong D: Btw, forgot to say Lauren's flirty XD]

Lauren gallopped freely in the open field, she should've been with the roundup group, but she felt like riding around first. She smiled as her brown and white painted horse Boo, gave out a small cry of happiness. Lauren's gallopping fanasty was ruined when one of her parents shouted at her "Lauren! Come on! The roundup's already started! Get with a group!" Lauren rolled her eyes, she pushed her blonde hair behind her ears and grabbed Boo's mane, she whistled, a sign for Boo to run, in which the horse did. Not long of running, she saw Rooke and Simon, she didnt know the two of them, but she decided to greet them anyways, galloping up to them, she smiled and said "Hello there!"

[Bah, took me forever to think of what to write, may not even fit to find y'all o3o Just edit it in your mind to make it fit XD I'm terrible with starting post haha]

Simon saw a girl riding towards them and his horse rode up to stop her. "Wait, don't go any farther."he told her. He didn't want her to get hurt if the beast attacked. She looked exactly like his sister. He felt like he was reliving the moment. "Please don't go any farther. I beg you. I don't want to see you die."he told her, feeling as though he was staring into his lttle sisters wide and joyouse eyes.

Rooke looked at the girl, and wanted to wave, but he was so overcome with terror that he couldn't move. "Really, don't go any farther!" he called, wanting to fall over. He shook all over, and suddenly, words came out when he didn't want them to. "We have something to show you. Go around the grove of trees, please! Around by a long way!" he shouted, and saw the largest buck staring straight at him, red eyes glowing with hate. He wanted to shoot it and have it be done with, but then the world would know about the deer. He didn't know what to do, or think.
