Warrior Cats: The Four Clans

Brodie frowned softly before he turned and plopped down on an empty matress. The smell of the eggs was tempting but he was a bit to tuckered out to get up. A yawn pushed past his lips as he closed his eyes. He was stiff as he left the sound of the waking pack yammer away. A sneer touched his face as he turned over to face the wall. He covered his sensitive ears and curled tighter. Hopefully he would manage to get a bit of sleep after last night's work.

Alanna nodded and took the skillet off the stove. She took note of what Julius said and stuck the leftovers in the stove so they would stay somewhats warm for Brodie later. They didn't have a table, so it wasn't like they could sit down and eat together like those lovely families on television. So she put plastic forks on each plate and let the pack take the one they wanted. She took a bite of the hot eggs and smiled as the wonderful taste swept over her taste buds like wild fire. "I'll go with you guys if you like, I mean, what else do I have to do?" She laughed, but then realized something, which almost made her laugh harder and spit eggs out everywhere. She'd been saying that all week, and laundry hadn't been done, trash was everywhere. She sighed. "Maybe not.." She said still suppressing a giggle as her eyes swept over the room.

Leo chuckled amiably, taking his own plate and sliding down the wall near her. "The mother hen has to go back to cleaning after her little chicks, I see," he said in between hungry bites. They, as a general rule of thumb, had to eat more than any human teenager, simply because of their higher metabolism due to their 'other halves.' "Maybe later I could help you a bit on your free-running skills? There are a bunch of places just a little outside of down-town to work on it."He finished scarfing down the eggs and put the plate in the sink, where it could be washed again. After all, what was the point of wasting money buying disposable plates that could be reused?

"So do it now and stop daydreaming about running across rooftops into the sunset," he said, grinning. "Hey, Jules, you ready to go out now?" He called, standing up and stretching. He wasn't too tired - he had only gone out to catch the morning flow of commuters, after all - and another run would be good, especially if he could help his 'little brother' and have fun too. Julius was probably closest to Leo as a younger sibling, for the two often went out pickpocketing together.
