Brodie had ignored her, all he really gave was some sort of shrug. She sighed and looked around the room. It was extremely quiet. She sat down and thought. Something felt off. Very off. She stood and walked outside with a puzzled look on her face and made her way up the side stairs onto the roof. She looked around. It was broad daylight so it didn't look like anything could hide. She felt something from behind and turned to look. Only to see the apartment complex next door, and there was a rustle in some curtains from one of the windows as if something was watching her. Her eyes narrowed. She looked around some more, wondering if she should go back inside, and just settle with the fact it was nothing. As she was contemplating on what to do she heard snarling behind her and turned just in time to see a wolf jumping from the roof above of the other complex and towards her. Without thinking, the moment it met her she jumped and kicked right under it's neck causing it's neck to snap back and fall into the alley below. It landed with a sickening crack and Alanna quickly made her way down the stairs and into the alley. When she turned to look at the wolf, it wasn't a wolf at all, but a boy. A young boy probably around the age of ten. No wonder it had been so easy. She knelt next to him and held his head in her hands, his blood staining her hands crimson. "I'm sorry." She whispered. What was Dr. Franklin doing? He'd made more wolves? And sent them out this young to kill her? She picked up the boy and put him in the dumpster before a passerby saw. She'd give him a proper burial tonight. She made her way in a daze back into the apartment. So Dr. Franklin was creating more werewolves. To kill other werewolves. She shuddered.
Kirene went inside and decided to find an activity of some sort. It wasn't that bad of a day, but she had to do something. She went into the living room f the apartment and started rummaging through the sofa she had been sleeping on to see if someone had hidden anything in there. he found a lot of things in left over furniture, and tinkered with them a lot to get them back to working.
As she continued to look under the sofa cushion, she found something hard underneath the fabric, and peaked through a hole. Inside, there was a small box with a key hole that was decorated with faded colors. Inside the keyhole was a key attached to a chain, the type used for necklaces. She pulled out the little box and turned the key three times. When she let the key go, music came from the box and it opened to reveal a small pair of dancing figurines. They spun around as the music played, an enchanting song that sounded like a type of lullaby.
As the song ended, the tiny box closed and the dancing figurines stopped twirling, and the container looked just as it has been before. She had found an old music box. But who would leave something like that in a place like this? It seemed to have been there for years inside the sofa.
After debating what to do, Kirene decided to go and see if Tanner knew anything about the small box.

Tanner walked slowly back to the apartment and slipped inside. Allana wasn't there, but Brodie was. He swept right past the leader and went into the living room, where he saw Kirene. "Hey. What's new?" he sighed. He wanted to sound happy, but he felt like he had been thrown aside by the most important person on earth. He had really tried for this. Brodie didn't know how hard he worked to get him a good job. A better job. If only they could be more appreciative.

"Well I found this weird box. You okay? I could easily fix the box up." she told him. She liked making everyone happy, and she liked to cheer them up. Her purple eyes shown with a bright spark to them. She didn't mind being around Tanner, and wasn't stony around him. Her black hair flowed around her face as she brought the box out. "Here. You can take a look if you want." she told him.
Tanner took the box and looked at curiously. He opened it, and there were the dancers. He stifled a giggle. The tinkly sound of the music was sweetening. Then he shook his head swiftly. "You say you found this in the couch? What a random place to put anything!" he laughed. He closed the box and handed it back to Kirene. "What do you think it is, and why is it here?" he asked. He dug his toe into the floor, wondering hard. Maybe, no, that's too weird. Wait! Perhaps it was put there by, no, wait, that's too flashy. He couldn't thin straight.

Kirene giggled at Tanner's joke. "I have no idea. As usual, I find something in our furniture. Do you think it was left by an old person? The colors are extreemly faded, and it feels a bit fragile. It looks like its been there for years."she asked him. The box was old looking. "Ah well. Where do you suppose I should put it?" she asked him. She thought that they would keep it untl someone asked for it.
