Mist followed the two with her eyes s they walked away. She grinned. Darton was so kind. She was glad he was coming. Because not only would they face dangers, they'd face conflicts between themselves. AS she looked back up into the sky, she leaped off the rock she was perched on. Falling down quickly, she spread her wings and took to the sky. She may love to fly, but she didn't have a choice but to go the extra mile, to fly to far. She knew she could make it with her friends at her side though. She was confident in them. And in herself.
Mist laughed as she flipped through the air turning and twisting through the air with ease. She'd been training for her long flight. This was her only time to goof off. Because tomorrow was the real Deal. She waited for Darton. She wanted him to fly with her. So they could both feel free before they were trapped in their quest.
"I will come out there too!" Suddenly, Sunrise was running then she jumped off the the rock as she jumped off she spread her wings and went into full flight. She loved to go super fast at really high speeds. Sunrise flew around then swooped down to get more speed then she went back up. Then landed back to the ground. "That was fun!"
"It'll only get better!" Mist said soaring higher in the air. She looked down. Even from up there, their once called forest was still a wasteland. She could see the forest in it's prime, and it slowly durned to the dust that she stood on today. She closed her eyes and plunged down. She hit the water. Then, she soared out and started soaring through the air with cold nice water on her face. She loved it.
Knoka went into a secret tunnel in her dragon den and fished out a small, red stone. "I can't leave without this in a pouch. It was a gift from my mother before she died."she explained to Darton as she came out. "I need help finding a pouch. Do you have any extras?" she asked him. She knew that jewel would now also be a keepsake from their old home when they left. She carefully carried it over to him, her fangs wrapped around it.
Sunrise stopped flying then she walked into her tunnel. She checked of the stuff that she needed and stuff that she could have. Then she walked back outside. Sunrise was really quite nervous about going to this long quest but she knew she could handle it. She sat down looking threw her stuff just one last time
Konoka was still waiting for Daton to find a pouch, but the Dragon wouldn't move. She placed the stone down and looked him in the eyes. "Are you okay?"she asked him, her eyes showing concern. "You aren't sick, right? Daton?" she asked him gently. He looked like his mind was in another place, like he had something disturbing his mind.
Carton shook his head back to the present. "Uh, huh? Oh, yeah, I'm okay," he said. In truth, he wasn't. But he wasn't going to tell anyone about his secret that bonded him to this land stronger than any dragon. He searched through one of his packs and found a pouch that looked like the stone would fit in. "Here. Will this work?" he asked Konoka. He held out the small leather pouch.

I am Jaggedpine. Just thought I should let you know.
"Yes, thanks."she told him. She put the small stone imside and put the pouch around her neck. Then she lead him out of her den. It was chilly outside, but not that bad for flight. The mist of the morning was slowly sweeping away as the sun continued its advance into the sky. Her red eyes reflected the suns rays and Konoka flew up into the air, landing back next to her things. She didnt really have much.
Her items consisted of a few herbs, her red stone, an emerald scale from her father before he died, and and a small amount of stardust. She put these allinto two pouches and wrapped them around her neck. Then she lay there, waiting for the others and Darton. How far would they fly? Where would theyt go? Were there any other dragons? These thoughts racing in her mind toold her that the journey might have a few obsticles ahead, but that wouldnt stop them.
