"Darton, are yo alright?" Konoka said in a gentle voice. The hatchling was starting to break through even more, and Konoka's eyes were glowing the brightest of red. They lit up the entire cave with a bright light, illumminating Darton. His eyes seemed to glow throught the sockets. "Darton, are you okay?" she asked again. The hatchling was nearly out now.

Darton was afraid to look up. The hatchling would know that he was its father, and he just wanted to disappear. "Treynar! I have failed you!" he repeated. he chanted it over and over again. He finally got the strength to look up and saw the little head pop out, and he cried with fear, sadness, and pain. He pulled his eyes away again and curled tighter, wishing he could just die, and not have to face the wrath of Treynar, who he had sworn on his life to.

Koka walked over to Darton and put him in a sitting position. "Are you alright? Listen, I don't know who that dragon is, but can't you explain to her? Won't she understand? I mean, this was an accident. I had no idea my mother had givin me an egg. Mabe another male dragon is around, and they are watching the egg hatch. Or mabe the person you are talking about is nearby. I ... I don't understand what happened, but it wasn't on purpose." she told him. If whoever the other dragon was got mad at him, she would explain. The hatchling was out now, and it was hanging on to her tail. Her eyes were still glowing red, brighter than ever.

Darton kept his eyes closed, feeling the presence of his daughter near him. "This was not meant to be," he whispered. "Listen, Konoka, when I was very young, Treynar, the dragon god, made a deal with me. I am as brave as I am because I made that his half of the deal. I am now a warrior of Treynar, well, since then. My end was that I be loyal to Treynar, and use my last breath to defend all dragons. That's why I am on this journey. He made it this way. Plus, I can never have a child, ever in my life. And now I must face the wrath of the dragon god," he explained, bracing himself for the claws of Treynar to rip through his flesh any second.

"SO, that's Tyrannar? I don't care what he says, your my friend, and he won't touch you until I die."she told him. The hatchling had bright glowing purpple eyes, and a green and purple set of scales. It liked hanging onto her tail, but she set it down and held it in her arms, keeping it close. It felt warm and it smiled. She looked to Darton. "Don't worry. I'm posotive this was a mistake. My mother would never mean to give me an egg. I mean, it hasn't hatched since she gave it to me, at least not until now."she told him. SHe heard a strong sound of beating wings and saw a strong and large dragon standing before them. She hid the hatchling behind her and looked at the large and strong dragon."What do you want?" she asked him, her tone icy.

Darton looked at the big dragon. He narrowed his eyes. He knew that this wasn't the father of the hatchling. It only worked when the parents were alone, and there was no one else that was looking. "What on earth do you want?" he snarled, and saw that it looked almost like Treynar. He cringed back in knowing. Treynar! He was here to kill him, he knew it. It was probably better anyway, for the hatchling. He didn't want her growing up with the knowledge that her father was a traitor, even on accident.

Konoka saw the distain in both of their eyes, and leapt at the large and oversized dragon. "You will not touch him!" she cried as she slashed his wings, and slammed his head down on the ground. But she was blasted back as he flung her away, his eyes flashing in anger. The little one was hiding, and had wandered into the safty of the hidden chamber in her den.

Darton tried to stop Konoka. "No! He'll kill you! Don't touch him!" he yelled at her. He looked to the dragon god. He knew now that that's who he was. His eyes blazed in anger. "I did not mean to. I had no idea. I don't even love her! I tried so hard, but I have failed you," he confessed, and dropped to the ground. He felt the delicate fingers of the hatchling on his back, and he lurched away from her. He heard her crying in surprise. "Da-da?" she called, and he caught a tone of sadness in her voice, and he felt a pang of sympathy. But, it was his time to die, in front of his daughter and Konoka.

Konoka stood infront of them. "It was an accident. My mother gave me that egg, telling me it was just a ruby. She never told me it was an egg."she told the dragon, who had stepped forwards. The hatchling was now clinging to her tail again, trying to stay with her. But she let it down onto the floor. "You hurt him, you will face me. Got it."she told him menacingly. The dragon took a few more steps closer. SHe spread her black, and over sized wings in front of the others, creating a sheild, her red eyes glowing brighter with anger.
