"Listen, their no time for that, he'll kill us if we-"Konoka tried to respond, but the larger dragon hurled scorching and churning flames at her that singed her scales, and she fell to the ground, still holding her hatchling. The larger dragon walked over to them all, ready to hurl more balls of fire at them. Konoka curled into a protective ball around her hatchling and quivered for fear of being burned yet again. The hatchling hid within the confinements of Konoka's arms and curled in closer. Konoka's eyes no longer glowed, and were back to normal. The Dragon god hurled another Fireball at her as she tried to dodge, but cried out in pain as she was scorched, a large slashmark across her black and scaly back.
"Mama! Daddy!" the little hatchling cried through Konoka's arms in a frightened voice. Konoka hushed it to sleep s she sung a lulliby, trying to dodge the larger dragon's blast of thunder and fire. "The third Alice was an innocent girl of club. An enchanting gracefull figure in the world of wonderland. She charmed the people of the land with every beck and call. So she rose to the throne to be the countries queen." she lightly sang in a tunefull voice as the hatchling fell to sleep.

Darton stared at Treynar. Then to Sunrise. "We don't want any fighting, Great One," he said, bowing. "Konoka has stopped, and no one is trying to hurt you," he explained. Treynar's eyes narrowed, but some of the anger was gone. "I have not come to punish you, and I just wish that Konoka had known that, or I would have not hurt her to get to you. I have come to show you something. Come," he commanded, flicking his tail for Darton to follow him. The dragon nodded, then turned to Konoka, keeping his eyes off the baby. "I'll be back. Take care," he whispered.

"Yes, Darton."she told him. She kept the youngling tucked in her arms as it slept. Then she quietly went into her den after an appology. "I'm sorry. He said that he'd get killed for having children, and I tought you were here to kill him."she said. She held out a herb."If you need this, to heal your wounds please use it. And Darton, you need this."she told him. Then she handed him a pouch, not telling him what was in it. She had put goat meat in there if he got hungry. "If you need me, I'll be in my den."she told them, then she slithered away, going into the secret chamber in her den. She dragged Sunrise along with her.
As Sunrise was being dragged away she finally said "so thats what happened! He was a dragon god!" Sunrise said. Then she looked at the hatchling it was kinda cute. "So its your child not Darton's? But if you are not thats good because what if Mist found out. She would of been pretty angry." Sunrise looked up at the sun it was getting dark out. "We should go to sleep now. Remeber we have that big quest." Sunrise said she had almost forgotten about the big quest that they had to do.
"Listen...my mother gave a stone to me, telling me it was a ruby. That's where this hatchling came from."she told Sunrise. "Yeah, sleep sounds good. I will explain to mist in the morning." The she curled up with her child in her arms, gently warming it. The little one looked up at her. "Mama..where's daddy?"she asked. Then she turned to Sunrise, and smiled, her purple and green wings folding up. "Friend?"she asked.
Darton nodded at Konoka, and followed Treynar out of the den. They both took off. "It is not far," the god said, flying faster. Darton flew hard to try to keep up with Treynar. He steered with his tail when he got too tired to steer with his body. It was getting dark, and the dragon couldn't keep his mind off the hatchling. What did she look like? Did she like him?

Knoka couldn't sleep. She didn't want anything to happen to the hatchling, like hatch snatchers stealing it. The little one liked her. When Darton got back, they would have to find a suitable name for her. Names popped into her wild mind, almost like they fit her well: Alice Tami Soloren Karsa Cristal Auqua Firene Marisa Celene Joena Sasha Alexia Silia
Which name suited her better? And what would Darton say? Ah well. The little one curled into her arms in a comfortable position, sleeping. She looked cute and strong. Darton had said heros were born this way. How would her daughter be a hero?
Mist returned from her journey, delivering an ergent message. She yawned. "What did I miss?" She asked. She looked around. She was curious as to what happened when we was gone. She could sence the tension.
Konoka heard Mist and went out side with her hatchling, ready for what was to come. She walked towards Mist, her eyes calm. "Well....you missed something rather...odd."she answered Mist and looked at her child. She gently put it down, but it hung onto her tail. "Mommy! Momy!" It called out "This is my...hatchling."she told Mist.
"Thats just terrible." She said. She knew that Konoka would question this. And if she did ist would answe. but it was truly terrible. Mist sight. "It's awful."
