Cloudandis and Holly immediatly flew to Rach, Cloudandis noticing Reela. "No..."she whispered. She flew at the Borogoves, her fangs bared. She busted through them. Reela wasn't just a friend...to Rach, and however many others, she was family. Cloudandis cared for anyone who was a friend of the pack, or a pack member. She wouldn't let Reela go. She ignored Raches howl as the othres came to him. She shot through, not caring if she got hurt. Reela was dying. She could see her wounds, and they looked fatal. "Reela, hold on, you'll be back with Rach..."Cloudandis trailed off, fighting her heart out. The borogoves scored a few hits, but Cloudandis was able to drag Reela out of the mess. She started to fly away, but saw that Reela was slipping away, her life held by a simple thread of hope for them. she couldn't die. She couldn't...
Rach screamed at Cloudandis. "Come on! I don't want to see the broken body of her! She's going, for us! Do you want her to die and we not even do what she was trying to help us do? Leave her!" he growled. He didn't knw that he had that in him. He flew at her and knocked Reela away. When he saw her face, bleeding and pained, he felt horrible for her. "Reela, I'm sorry," he whispered, and let her go. He turned to Cloudandis. "Leave her. It's her time anyway, and we want her to be honored as someone who died saving her loved ones, right?" he asked, slapping a Borogove away as he spoke.

Cloudandis stared at the body of Reela as she plummeted down to earth. She looked back to Rach, her eyes more distant than before. She didn't answer his question, nor did she cry or shout, nor wail or shed a tear. She simply turned away from him, hovering in the air. Reela was gone. She had helped them so much, and this was the price she was to pay....Cloudandis was beside herself with grief. She didn't turn back to Rach, but simply flew off towards the others at a slow pace. How could he let her fall .....fall to the earth, where a bunch of blood thirsty beasts would soon devour her remains. Reela had not deserved the fate that the cruel world had givin her. But it was far too late to do anything. Cloudandis hovored yet again, waiting with the rest for Rach. She didn't face him though. She faced no one, her face hidden. She looked towards the rest of the journey ahead. She knew just how cruel the world was, how dangerouse it was. Yet it shocked her that even Reela had fallen into the tradgity of it all.
Rach didn't look at Cloudandis. It was her fault that Reela died for no reason. If they were going to stay and fight, Reela wouldn't have had to give herself. He started off, the others behind him. He allowed a tear to escape down his cheek. She had saved his life before. And now again. Cloudandis sure did seem like she already had loved Reela, like she had known her before, and now hated him for letting her go. The thought built anger inside Rach. He whipped around and glared at his beta. "Listen, if it weren't for you, Reela would have died for a reason! You just have to let some things go!" he snarled. Then he turned around again Why had he done that? He hadn't. The thing inside him, a new tangle of emotions, had done that.

Cloudandis did not waver at his stinging words of scorn. She didn't even look at him. Why should she? Yeah, he'd known Reela longer, but Reela had been helpfull, and had been his savior twice. She almost seemed like part of the pack. And anyone who was that close, was near family. She simply turned away from him. He was going to blame her for doing something because she had cared? FIne, she would let him be that way. He had been lucky, siblings and a cousin. She had no relations, and her parents were dead. She hadn't even been fortunate enough to have a litter mate. She had dealed with things like this since she was a pup, only those who you are willing to give your life for were things to truely care about. She knew Rach had no idea what that was like. But she wasn't going to blame him, or take it all out in a stupid shouting contest. She simply stayed silent, and floated there.
ooc: Rach is the pack leader, he knows what that feels like...
ic: Rach frowned. Cloudandis was wrong. Reela died for nothing. "Reela died for for no reason at all, and that's your fault!" he snarled. He started to fly away. "Now let's get outta here before those Borogoves come back," he said. He shot away. The sky was dark, but they hadn't made good time. He couldn't keep back tears. Reela, the one who had saved him, had gone. Cloudandis had nothing to do with it. That had been his batle, but she had to interfere, and because of that, Reela had died for no reasong at all.

ic: Cloudandis didn't follow. She didn't stare after him or move. She flew under the others. Rach could be as angry as he wished, but she would not feed it with talking and arguing. Had she spoken, it would have been worse. She simply floated. Holly was minding his own buissness. He didn't come down and for once he stayed put. And just when she wished she could have talkied to him. Her red eyes wavered between the ground and the sky. What would she do with Rach talking to her like that? Would he constantly keep saying it was her fault? Of course he would. But that wouldn't stop her from caring in the least bit. If you could save someone, you should take the chance. She had taken it far too late. Why should she just run and leave someone to die? raches words rang in her ears, an echo of silence. She would not be talking with him. From then on, she would simply be as deaf as the shadow that followed its owner, just getting the cure and going. Being insolently argumentive? It would fire up Rach even more.
Rach kept flying, eyes on where they had to go. Then, Ruba came up to him. "I know why you're sad and angry. I agree with you, that Cloudandis was wrong to go there and try to help. But you can't stay mad at her forever," he stated. Rach looked at his cousin. "I know, but she was too wrong to do what she did. It wasn't fair to me. I wanted my Reela, the one who acted as my mother when no one else would, to die for a reason, and a reason that she wanted. She wanted to die to save our pack, so we could run away and she could distract them, but Cloudandis went back when it was already too late, and made her death for no reason," he explained. Ruba nodded. "I understand." That's all he said. They just flew side-by-side for a while.

Cloudandis noticed Holly had flown down to her. "Hi, er..."he whispered, his shaky voice trailing off. Cloudandis looked at him, her already empty eyes becoming a deep and distant red. "I'm sorry...I can't talk to you too much right now..."Cloudandis whispered, her voice clear from not using it too much any more. "Listen, I agree with Rach, you shouldn't have-"Holly tried, but she turned her face away. She knew she was wrong. And she knew everyone would tell her that. Was that the only reason Holly had flown over? To tell her what everybody else was thinking? She flew to the farther left, keeping away from Holly. She knew she had been wrong. But no one had to remind her of it right after the other person had.
Holly stared at Cloudandis, not knowing what to do. He had been messing things up, and when he looked at Cloudandis's eyes...they kept going distant, like the type of eyes a blind wolf would have. One who had lost their literal sense of sight. Cloudandis was already blind in one sense-not wanting to let go of Reela when she had only known her for a day. He tried to get her to face him, but she few over the others, he position awekwards. He noticed she wouldn't even look at or fly near Rach. Was it that bad? Had Cloudandis done more than let Reela die for nothing? He saw that her eyes were back to normal. Yet she still wouldn't go neaar Rach, or anyone for that matter. He couldn't beleive what was happening. He looked out into the sky. What would they do now?
Rach sighed deeply, and Ruba nudged him comfortingly. "It's okay," he promised. "But you can't stay mad at her forever," he repeated. Rach turned to his cousin and glared at him. "Listen! Reela saved my life, and I wanted her to know that her death wasn't for nothing! Cloudandis, no, not just her, everyone, has no idea how much Reela meant to me! Yeah, so what, she betrayed me, but then she made it up to me!" he snarled, then took it back. He stared down at the ground. "Okay, I'm sorry, but she did mean a lot to me. She was like a mother."
