OOC: Hey, my writer's block really is gone -- I did that in like, half an hour. >:)
And yes -- you hadn't noticed that more than half of the people who have joined this haven't posted in forever? DX
Hm... I have an idea. First official group reward: You may each catch another Pokémon of your choice as of now. And I think I'm going to have to cut the evolution requirements down a bit...
Also time skippish thing:
IC: Kori descended the stairs that lead to their miniature base of operations. Nurse joy had promised to get the groups Pokémon healed before morning, while they slept; needless to say, they gratefully accepted. He ran his hand along the smooth riling, peering into the main lobby before stepping into it. Trays full of Pokéballs were lined on the counter top. He scanned each one, looking for his. Soon enough, he located one marked with "KH," and, after picking up the devices, clipped them to his belt. Seeing that no one else was up yet, he shrugged, heading outside as he buttoned up his jacket and put his hat atop his head.
S thin fog shrouded the city; a look at the Rocket base revealed it to still be in lockdown. Evidentaly they were expecting an attack. Kori smiled; well, they would be get quite a surprise soon enough. For now, though, he was looking for something else. Kori knew that many Pokémon could be found around here -- Sandshrew, Oddish, even Abra -- and he wanted one. His current Pokémon were good, but soon, he would need to fill up his team -- why not start now, before an attack?
As these thoughts raced in his head, he had been waiting back towards the forest, where they had first landed. Surely he could find something interesting here? He walked around a bit, looking, frowning whenever a Rattata or Oddish ran by. Nothing interested him -- until he saw it. There, hanging from a tree, watching him in curiosity, was a Gligar. He smiled; this was what he had been looking for, unconsciously, of course, though he knew that he had to have it.
ooc: I noticed, it's just I just now realized how many. DXD Yay! Catching pokemon!
ic;Jen woke up the next morning, finding every thing quiet in the girls room, and went out into the hallway. She saw Chansey pass by with some food, and chansey stopped and offered her some. Jen picked out a muffin and an orange juice carton-not much to others, but she wasn't hungrey at the moment. She thanked the chansey and payed 3 poke for the food. After Chansey had doddled off to the healing room, Jen walked off a bit, finding the door to the boys dorm open and Kori's bed empty. He seemed to have gone out early. Ah well, lucky him. She walked down a stair way or two and came to the little area that held their poke balls. She searched through them, and had a little bit of luck. She found her tray all right, but one of the pokeballs was missing, and a group of them was scattered on the floor. Had Kori or someone else knocked them over? She gently searched through the pokeballs, managing to find one with her initials, or at least one of them. It had a simple J, just like the tray that the rest of her poke balls were displayed on. She shrugged, putting them in her bag.
Jen walked out into the morining sunrise, dawn coming. She noticed that it was even quiet out here, and that no one else seemed to be awake. She thought for a moment,. Kori might have either gone out scouting, gone for a small walk, or he might have gone to catch some new pokemon out in the forest. She decided that eitherr way, they would meet up later. She walked through the quiet town, enjoying the silence. She had bought a few new pokeballs earlyer too, and wanted to fill them up. She had had enough money to buy some antidote and potions too, so she was in the clear. So far, she had bought 12 pokeballs, 7 potions, and 8 antidotes. As she walked on, she noticed some shadows moving in an alley way. She kept her gaurd up and slowly crept towards the alleyway, her feet not making a sound. She checked her belt for the poke tech just in case, and found that all of her materials were there. She crept closer, and saw a group of pokemon sitting together, apparently deep in conversation. A ShinX, a duskull, and a ghastley. They all looked up at her as she paused, looking down at them. She got down into a sitting position, leaning forewards on her knees, and stared back. They Duskull and ShiX didn't seem to like her at all, but the ghastly seemed to find her appealing. He calmly floated over to her as his friends stood back. She fished out three poffins, which they accepted. They all seemed quite thin too, and looked injured. "Well, it's be rude to just leave you out here to freeze. How about you guys get patched up at the poke center, then I let you go on your way?" she asked them. They all nodded and followed her back to the pokemon center, where nurse Joy had just woken up. "So, they need a bit of healing? Wait a while and I'll get them patched up." nurse Joy exlaimed. She took all three to the back room, each one staying close. Jen waited on a bench, keen to see if they were okay. Apparently, the ShinX and Duskull were going to be fine, and were set back out into the wild. Ghastly however, seemed ill. He happened to have been parylized by another pokemon, an electric type, and was parylized. Jen kept watch over him while Nurse Joy went and fetched her supplies.

IC:Man, Kori thought, greatly impressed as he called Daeja back to his Pokéball. I had a type advantage and he still knocked it out with a single guillotine attack. The Agent wasn't mad; he was just impressed. Now he knew that he had to have this Gligar. Enlarging his next Pokéball, he hurled it into the air, releasing Dothe. The Poochyena growled, sizing up its opponent.
"Dothe, use Bite!" Kori ordered. Dothe barked, leaping forward at incredible speeds, before clamping his jaws down on the Gligar's wing. It retaliated by flying up into the air, turning tail and flying towards the ground. At the last second, Dothe jumped off; Gligar slammed into the ground, though recovered quickly. Immediately, it launched a Poison Sting attack; Dothe dodged, causing Gligar's tail to become embedded in the tree.
"Tackle -- full power, too!" Kori called. Dothe complied, charging straight into Gligar. The scorpion was sent sliding across the ground. Now that it was stunned, Kori took his chance, hurling a Pokéball at it. The Gligar was engulfed by it; the ball shook once, twice, three times, and then stayed still. Kori smiled, picking the ball up triumphantly. "Excellent work, Dothe!" he said, petting the Poochyena on the head. Dothe barked in happiness. "What to name this guy, though...?" He thought for a moment; then, "Aha; Ruaki. That should do."
Jen walked out of the pokemon center, hearing a shout of victory in the woods. It was Kori's voice. Nurse Joy came out with the Ghastley, all patched up. "He should be fine now." she said with a smile, walking back inside as ghastley floated over to Jen. Jen gave him a smile. "Say...you wanna come along with me?" she asked him. Ghastley gave a nod of approval after some thought. "Alright, but what should I name you?" she asked him, thinking for a few minutes. Then an idea came. " How about, Spectre?" she asked him. He fgave her a wide grin in reply. She smiled, pulling out a pokeball. "Okay, here goes!" she said, tossing it at him. He vanished in a beam of red light, the pokeball rocking back and foreth. Then, after a few more minutes, it lay still. "Alright Spectre, let's go see what Kori caught." she giggled, heading off into the woods.
IC: Kori pushed his way back through the trees, smiling. He saw Jen heading that way, and held up the Pokéball containing his newly caught Gligar. "You'll never guess what I just found!" he called.
