"You'll never guess what I caught!" she said at the same time as Kori came out. She threw up her pokeball, releasing her ghastley, Spectre. He moved around Kori curiousley. She gave a laughed."Let's see what you got." she said with a smile. Spectre floated back to her to give Kori some space to open his pokeball, a grin as hige and twisted as the jack-o-lantern crossing his face. He liked these people. THey intriged him.
IC: Kori laughed along with Jen and her Gastly. "I can't send him out right now, unfortunately -- I have a feeling he's sitl tired from our fight," the Team Libtry Agent responded. "But I'll heal my Pokémon and then show you. Plus, there's still the attack on the Rocket base, so you'll see him in action soon enough."
Heading inside, Kori found that Misty and her group, along with Zeke, were all up by now, and were gathering their Pokémon. They greeted Jen, Gastly and Kori, and the latter headed towards the coutner, dropping off the Pokéballs containig his Pokémon. Soon enough, they had been healed, and Kori was clipping them back onto his belt.
"So, what now?" he asked. "Should we begin the attack or do a little bit of recon first?"
"Maybe a bit of recon." Jen suggested. Her Ghastley, Spectre, was in his pokeball. "It would be better than just taking them head on. We don't know everything about them." she said, explaining her thoughts. "But I'm open to any other thoughts. I mean, it's not like one vote wins it all." she told them, trying to keep from sounding bossy.

OOC: Oh, and her last name is something that she's gonna keep quiet about. For now.
IC: Hikari strolled slowly through the area where she could choose her three starter Pokemon. There were so many choices... She thought back to when she had been promoted to a real Team Liberty Agent. Even remembering it had her excited. The ceremony had been done en mass; a lot of other trainers became Agents at the same time. And now, she was finally getting her starter Pokemon. Looking through all the pens of unevolved Pokemon, she saw a group of Poliwag playing. After observing each of them and finding out which was dominant, and therefore stronger, she carefully opened the gate to the pen and retrieved the water Pokemon. Starting out with strong Pokemon would be beneficial. Plus, as a bonus, this one seemed to like her. A few moments after leaving that pen and looking at other Pokemon, she didn't even have to hold the Poliwag anymore. It began to follow her around and curiously watch her actions. Hikari browsed through more pens and tanks and corrals, seeing herds of Ponyta and Tauros and Miltank, flocks of Pidgey and Spearow and Starly, schools of Remoraid and Magikarp, and groups of Meowth and Kricketot and Scyther. She was completely uninterested in all of them. On the opposite side of the warehouse was a small group of Budew. These Pokemon were a bit harder to get since they had to be bred for, but when they finally evolve into Roserade, they're a force to be rekoned with. Hikari picked one of them at random, since they all looked pretty strong. They were pretty docile too, so it was hard to tell which would have the most potential. She hardly cared though, since the Budew wouldn't only be her ally. It would be her friend. Away from the delicate grass Pokemon, the redheaded teenager found a fireproof corral with Cyndaquil in it. All of the little fire-types seemed spunky and ready for anything. Except one. It was quieter, more observant, and seemed a lot more intelligent than its bretheren. And that one was the Cyndaquil that she chose. She finally had three starter Pokemon. Her team was balanced with its types; she would have a Poliwrath/Politoed, Roserade, and Typhlosion after a good bit of training. The typing was decent, and each of her new friends seemed like they would reach their full potential under her care. Hikari hoped that would be true, anyways. Looking at her Pokegear, she noticed that she had a few minutes before she had to set out for Cerulean. She'd have to use the Dragonite Bus to get there in time, and she was fortunate to have a pass for the dragon's services. She'd gotten it from a lottery about a year ago while she was researching in some large city about a mythological Pokemon rumor. Which had proven false, by the way. Registering her Pokemon to her name, she made them return to their PokeBalls. The teenage Agent made her way to a secret location from which the Dragonite Bus would depart. This Dragonite had been specifically bred and trained for its' speed- she was confident that she wouldn't be seen riding it since it was so fast. Hopping on, the dragon-type let out a bellow, jumped up, and started to rocket its way through the sky. In what seemed like a few moments, she was just outside Cerulean. Good, she was just in time. About two hours late. The Dragonite let her off in a secure area just to the east of the city, and then left. Hikari made her way to the Pokemon Center, and coincidentally ran into the other Agents. She saluted them and smiled. "Sorry I'm late. My name is Hikari."

Jen gave a giggle and smiled. "Hi Hikari! My name is Jen! You must be the other agent that got here late." she laughed. "It's good to see ya made it." and she walked over, seeing the Dragonite fly off. "Whew, I thought for amoment ya wouldn't make it, but those people at the pokemon center and such have strange ways of transportation."
IC: "Actually, I had a special pass that permits me the usage of the Dragonite Bus. It's quite a rare privlige. If I didn't have it, I'd be in a helicopter right now," Hikari giggled lightly. She looked at the other Agents. They all seemed like fun people to be around. She wondered what Pokemon everyone had... and was that the former Cerulean Gym Leader, Misty? Hikari had heard of her a few times, usually mentioned along with the legendary Ash Ketchum or with the former Pewter Gym Leader, Brock. She knew that Misty hatched an egg that had a Togepi in it, evolved the little Pokemon, then released it because of some circumstance that Hikari didn't personally know. It was important, though, as if the Togetic had some duty to do. "What Pokemon do you have, err... Jen? I have a these guys," she said, letting the three unevolved Pokemon out of their Balls right in the middle of the Pokemon Center. It was normal for people to do, so she wouldn't be the only one with her partners out. Cyndaquil yawned, letting the small fire pores on his back ripple with fire, producing a gentle flame as his mouth gaped. Poliwag looked at Hikari, then at Jen, then to his fire-type partner. The Poliwag seemed amused at Cyndaquil's large yawn. As the fire starter finally closed his mouth and calmed the embers on his back, the grass and poison type Budew slightly blushed at the two Agents, then slightly bowed the bud at the top of his head at them.
OOC: By the way, all of Hikari's Pokemon are males.

"NiceHere ya go!" Jen replied, throwing out her pokeballs, releaseing her pokemon. Thunder, her shinx, Inferno, her houndor, Blaze, her Charmander, and Spectre, her Ghastley, all came in a burst of white light, eagerly running around and taking a look at Hikari's pokemon. Her Houndor gave a happy yip to Cyndiquil, and as did herCharmander. Spectre and Thunder wandered on over to Budew and poliwag, both grinning. "Looks like they like your pokemon." Jen laughed.
