ic:Matayo, Riolu, and Shaymin entered Cerulean City (again) in hopes to find the other agents. Passing by the Bicycle Shop, Matayo heard his Pokegear ring. "Hello?", he asked. "Hello, agent Yamamoto.", replied Blackskull. "Where were you last night?", Blackskull asked. "I was unconscious at the Pokemon Center in Saffron City."
"Okay. Just checking. Did you manage to capture the Shaymin?", Blackskull asked. "Yes, I did. It's right next to me.", Matayo replied. "Okay. Good job. Oh, sorry about this, but we accidentally sent you out a day earlier than the other agents." Matayo slapped his forehead with a look of astonishment on his face. No wonder he couldn't find the others! "Hope you don't mind.", Blackskull said after that. "They should be near you. Find them and complete your other mission. Blackskull out." Matayo hung up his Pokegear, confused where to look. He then heard a group run by, saying,"Split up. Find that grunt and those twerps that were with him. Make sure they don't escape!" Matayo looked around the corner of the Bicycle Sop and saw that they were members of Team Rocket! The group split up into four smaller groups, only one containing an Executive. Matayo followed the group into the woods. While they were walking, Matayo took some of them out. The fact being there were eight of them surprised Matayo. Usually there were at least 14 in a small group. He soon thinned their numbers down to 3. They didn't notice at all. Soon after that Matayo and Riolu leaped out of the bushes and Knocked the remaining grunts. Matayo tackled the executive and began to interrogate him. "First question, who are you chasing?", Matayo asked practically growling. "A group of trainers and a traitor." "Who is the traitor?"
"James's son Kanrik.", He replied. "Last question, where is your base out here?", Matayo asked. "Underneath the bridge on route 23, just north of Cerulean City" Matayo then proceeded to knock the Executive out. "Alright, Riolu. Let's find that group.", he said. And so they began to search the woods. About two hours into their search, they began to hear voices in the distance. Matayo and his companions walked toward the voices while keeping their cover. When they neared, they saw a group of trainers and a Rocket Grunt arguing about something. Matayo figured they were the group and approached.
IC: Hikari was running along behind Kanrik, being occasionally pulled to change direction or move faster. This wasn't her area of strength. She didn't like running at all, nor did she have very much stamina at all. Panting and gasping for breath already, Hikari kept pushing her strength to its limits. She wanted to go back to the strategics of battling, breaking into computers... the stuff she was good at. This physical stuff was wearing on her quickly... "Hey... Guys... I gotta take a breather... Where can we... take five..?"

ooc: I hate Team Rocket's disguises(foreshadowing )
ic: Matayo approached the group hoping that they were the group he was searching for, but kept his guard up in case they weren't. Unluckily, they weren't the group. When he got near, they discarded their disguises and each sent out one Pokemon each. The Pokemon were Koffing, Zubat, Golbat, Murkrow, Ekans, and Chickorita. There were six in the group and they each had only on Pokemon, therefore Matayo was battling a full party. Matayo brought out Pichu and Charmander (Remember, Riolu is already out of it's Poke-ball). Thus, the battle had begun. "Riolu, us Tackle on Ekans, and Charmander, use Ember on Chickorita.", Matayo shouted. The Ember hit Chickorita and sent it running around trying to extinguish the fire. Riolu missed Ekans and tackled Murkrow. "Koffing, use Smog!", shouted the one Female Grunt among them. Koffing breathed out a purple gas which began to cover the battlefield. It quickly shrouded Matayo and Shaymin, who the Grunts hadn't noticed. Shaymin quickly began absorbing the gas. It wasn't long before the field was visible again. "Ekans, use Scary Face!", yelled another grunt. Ekans made an unbelievably horrid face and scared the wits out of Riolu, Charmander, Pichu, and Shaymin. Shaymin became so scared it released the gas it was holding in an epic Seed Flare. The blast was so powerful it KO'd all the other Pokemon and sent the group of Rockets flying. Before flying out of earshot, Matayo heard them yell,"Team Rocket's blasting off again." Matayo quickly got up and ran to his Pokemon's side. They were all out cold. Shaymin came over and just stared in wonder, unaware of what it had done. It then shrugged and walked over to Matayo and stood there, as though begging for a poffin. "Fine, here.", Matayo said with a sigh. He pulled out a blue poffin and gave it to Shaymin. He then pulled out 3 Revives and a few Potions, and began healing his Pokemon. After eating the Revives, Matayo's Pokemon awoke with disgusted expressions. Matayo then used the potions he had and restored his Pokemon back to full health. Matayo then said,"Return.", and red beams shot out, hitting Pichu and Charmander, and returning them to their Poke-balls. Riolu, however, dodged the beam and refused to return to it's Poke-ball. "Alright, Riolu. Geez, even after being knocked out you are rebellious.", Matayo said with an upset tone. They continued to look around for the other agents. after about half an hour Matayo came to the Bicycle Shop again and Wondered around front. He saw the discount sign. It read,'Sale on all mountain bikes and Mach bikes. Only 450 Poke for either. Come on into Rydel's Bicycle Shop now!' Matayo figured it was a good bargain,so he walked in and Purchased a mountain bike. The second he got outside he got on with Riolu and Shaymin and rode back into the forest. He sped through the forest, searching for the other, rode through a bush, and almost crashed into a trainer with a white hat. He hit the brakes and got off. He and Riolu moved in front of Shaymin and prepared to battle.
ic: Jen saw Hikari breathing harder. "Kanrik, slow down!" she cried. Kanirk heard this and came to a slower jog, then stopped. "I think we lost them." he panted. He saw no buildings around. "Oops...I think we got lost in the rush to get away." he nervously laughed. Jen glared. "We've got everyone so far, but...Wait, didn't we see someone else?" she murmered. "Nah." she said.
Hikari stopped, still panting. "Haaa, thanks. Athletics is NOT my strong point," she laughed lightly. Wondering what they were going to do next, Hikari looked about and took in their surroundings. "So, Jen, shouldn't we report to the higher-ups that we've got an ex-Rocket Grunt with us? I'll take care of it. After all, I'm the one who lead Kanrik to you and the others." She poked a few buttons on a device that she'd pulled out of her backpack. A voice greeted Hikari, then she explained what had happened. After that, the person on the other end replied. "Alright, keep the ex-Rocket with you, but retain your caution," they said, then the line went dead. Nodding, Hikari put the device back in her bag. "Alright, Kanrik, you're with us. Other than Houndour and Ekans, what Pokemon do you have?"

Kanrik turned and gave a kind of nervouse grin. "Well, I do have a chikorita. They gave it to me because it was an extra the boss didn't want." he said. Jen laughed. "M'kay." she said, coming to a stop and letting Kanrik go for a little.
"Chikorita, huh? Great. You'll just have to watch out for ground-types, but you can cover that with Chikorita. Either way, it's been discovered that we're in Cerulean and helping Misty. We need to get her to a safe place and move out as soon as we can. The Rockets will give us a hard time if we don't... So, any ideas?" Hikari looked at Jen and Kanrik. Oddly, she'd just met both of them today and she felt as if she'd known them her entire life. She trusted them both completely...

Kanrik grinned. "well, that's half good half bad. They might think that we'll still make our next move in that city." he said. "And isn't that big Rocket HQ there?" Jen argued. "We have t make our move in that city. But sometime's it's good to do the expected if they don't expect something." she gave a grin. "If they patrol the city we can't just go walking in!" he protested. "Or can we?" Jen said. "You see, ghost pokemon can cause elusions without using any moves. It's like a defence" she explained. "And what-I know thye can't do that during the day time." Kanrik said. "But they can do it at night-the perfect time. People get ideas in their heads at night." Jen said. Kanrik sighed andgrowled a little. "I dunno about that plan..." he said. Jen grinned and went to sittingunder a tree. It would be nightfall soon, but they shouldn't make thier move just now. SHe was remembering things from her past...
Back during a period of time of the Rockets Rising to power, she'd been about maybe 3 or 5 years old. At that time, her parents weren't exactly chipper. Especially her dad. He'd been working as a Rocket, but she'd only found that out now. When she was younger, He'd told her he was one of those pokemon rangers. She loved Rangers, but she found it strange she'd never seen the base or any of the pokemon that her dad brought home. Despite that, she still thought of him as a ranger. One day, when she was at the age of 9, she and her mom were told by him that her dad had retired and was coming home. After retirement, that's when he started bringing pokemon for Prof.Birch to research. Prof. Birch was very old, but he still liked to see new pokemon. THe next day was her birthday, and at the age of ten you were allowed to be a trainer.
However, Prof. Birch had very few of his origional starters ever since the Rockets had decided to show up and try to destroy his research. THey'd taken lots of work, maybe even 20 years of it. And the starters were just about gone too. But fortunatly, he'd been able to contact Oak after a while, and he'd gotten some pokemon. But he said that Jen couldn't keep them for her own. Jen didn't understand why. But he probably needed them to protect the town of Little Root.
About two years later, when she was twelve, she started wanting to join the agencey. And then maybe a year later she joined....and now she was here.
Jen flashed back to reality. Exactly how old was she?? she couldn't remember. "I'll just check my pokegear-woah!" during her dazing her Ghastley, Spectre had come out and was grinning. "Hey buddy, not so close!" she laughed. Kanrik had fallen asleep in the tree above them.
Hikari was sitting at the base of another tree, strategizing and planning how to make the best use of the few items she had. She browsed through her bag, sorting her healing items and her other items, making sure she had everything she thought she had. Hikari didn't want to think she had something and get proven wrong at a bad time. Also, her Pokemon weren't that strong. They were weak from the battle with Kanrik, which had pretty much been her first battle ever. Remaining silent, she let her Pokemon out and carefully treated them. She needed them to be in as good condition as they could be. It might be a long night.
