IC: The group traveled at a steady pace, rounding several corners before the group arrived at a pair of double doors, through which they could see an indredibly large room; to Kori it appeared as if it not only sat people upwards form the door, but it also looked as if the seats descended downwards as well. This place is way bigger than I thought, Kori mused, stopping for a moment. This could be troublesome... He hurried after the gorup again, catching up with them at the door. To the Team Libetry agents' shock, however, everyone going in was being checked and identified. Though they were sitll fairly far away from the guards, they had little time to get a plan together. "They're going to know that we aren't who we say we are," Kori muttered to his fellow agents, quiet enough so that only they could hear him. "Any ideas?"
OOC: I thought I saw a mention of Giovanni being around, so I jsut want to remind you guys that Giovanni isn't in TR anymore -- he was defeated and kicked out, remember? TR's not as it was in the show and games. ;)

ooc: How very true. I'm coming close to the part where I meet up with the rest of you. I'll post my IC later, when I actually come up with something. Something I want to mention randomly, I've played pokemon Red version, yellow version, silver version, crystal version, All the gba series, and platinum version. I haz seen all 493 pokemon at sometime or another.
OH! I've also got my background done if anyone wants to read.
Background: Matayo was peaceful and sickly when he was younger. He lived in the Almia region. He had few relatives and they all were spread out across the other regions of the world. His grandfather was a master with the Aura, alongside his Lucario, of course, and Matayo's Grandfather was an agent for team Liberty. His mother and father were always fighting, and many people that knew him were jealous of him when he showed signs of auric powers. Some of those people, who were part of Team Rocket, wanted to exploit those powers. Team Liberty asigned seven agents to protect Matayo at all costs. The agents were: his Aunt Mary, Jon Zetzu, his cousin Jack, two scientists who were unnamed, his grandfather's best friend Don Martin, and his grandfather Maxus Yamamoto. They had a traitor amongst them, though. Don Martin was convinced to join the Rocket about a month earlier. Don had been promised great wealth, power, and the easy way out of everything, but on one condition. He would have to kidnap Matayo, killing anyone who got in his way. On the exact day of Matayo's 5th Birthday, the Rockets caught everyone off guard, and set a bomb off, killing five of the seven agents asigned to protect him and most of the family members who were there. The last few being Don, Maxus, Matayo, and his parents. Don revealed himself to be a Rocket grunt and so began Maxus and Don's last showdown. They both fought murderously using aura based combat. The final part of this battle resulted in an auric explosion, which Matayo could see from a team Liberty helicopter that was sent to evacuate the area. the next morning, team Liberty told Matayo's remaining family that the Remains of Maxus were nowhere to be found, and that he was deceased. The depression had affected Matayo so badly, that he ran away the following night. He then lived solo for about seven years before finding his way to Four Island and joining Team Liberty. his training took about one year, and he had been promoted to a level 1 agent.
Just figured I would post this now.

Kanrik followed the executive into the conference room where every other person and their brother were seated, showing off their pokemon and their records as the meeting hadn't started yet. "Well, this is weird." Kanrik muttered. He'd never seen so many Grunts at a meeting. Oh well, it was just a planned out thought.
Jen had finally caught up and was standing near the conferenve door, some Rockets s******ing at the bag she was holding. It was a rocket school trainy bag, one she'd found a while ago. But some pulled her away and then they saw a streak of blue under her Rocket hat. "Hey, that looks like a Team aqua Bandana." one said. She gave them a nervouse look. "Ha, must've rigged it offa them failures!" they laughed. She gave a small sigh of releif and followed them into the conference room. Her houndor seemed to catch very little attention, so that was good.
ooc: Hey guys. I guess the meeting is starting, so I guess I'll post the beggining part of the leader's speech. Wyvern, Giovanni was not kicked out of team Rocket. He disbanded team Rocket, but regrouped the members 3 years later, only to be defeated again, and he afterwards left team Rocket forever. I know this because I played Red/Firered version and Silver version to the end. A similar thing happened in the anime as well. Let the meeting begin.
IC:Matayo was in a huge theatre, style room. Matayo had just passed through the security to enter. He almost gaped in amazement. , He thought. He saw Kanrik, those newbies from before, and another trainer with some sort of blue bandana under her cap sitting in a group. He moved foreward quickly, and sat just behind them. The lights sort of dimmed, and a shady person appeared walking with a Persian with black fur (not Giovanni). He began by throwing around the scientist of the month, awards and new promotions, and crud like that. Then he got down to buisiness. He said in a serious tone, "As you all know, team Liberty is an evergrowing threat to us. They have been trying to locate the gym leaders, 'save' the Pokemon in our possesion and all that softie nerd stuff. They've even attempted to kidnap Jessie and James's son, Kanrik, for information. Therefore, we are planning to start employing more grunts and we will be promoting more often. Our biggest mission at the moment, however, is to capture the Moltres in Cerulean Cave, and to do that, only our strongest grunts and executives will be allowed to go."

OOC: This isn't the game universe; read the history in the first post. In this RPG's canon he continued to run Team Rocket behind the scenes, but after failing time and time again he was usurped by the current four leaders. ;)
ic; Jen watched as the meeting started, having grabbed a grunt uniform. It was better than anything she usually whore. The grunts that had taken her there were laughing and bragging about this and that. She smiled a little but stared at the empty chairman's seating, and at her friends. Kori's team was ina tight spot
Meanwhile, Kanrik was getting greeted back with taunts. "So a few lower ranks showed you back and saved you? You couldn't even beat a few rebelliouse trainers? How pathetic!" several of the laughed. Kanrik glared and shrunk back, his face turning an ashen red. Jen culd see he was embarrassed. She walked over. "Well, I'll have you know that that group happened to be proffessional trainers, they were supposed to be the new GYM leaders for they're little rebbellion." she smirked, sarcasm in her voice. These grunts were dimwitted and their jaws dropped. She was surprised they'd taken the lie so easily. "R-really? New GYM leaders?!" one gasped.
