Hazelclaw grinned and gave them allnos of appreciation."Comeon,let's go!"he laughed. He walked over to the camp entrance, excitedly waving his tail."Last one of you apprentices out is freshkill!" he joked, watching the others excitedly twitch their wiskers and prick their ears. He waved his tail, ready to go. Viverpaw looked tired anyways, and after all that had happened he wasn't surprised. He gave a chuckleof amusment. What trouble apprentices got into.

Copperpaw jumped alittle hearing Hazelclaw's voice and quickly ran out of the camp. Jumping over the deputy he landed on all four feet and turned around waving his tail in the air excitedly. "Can we do some battle training first? Please!" He wanted to battle Treepaw badly now, plus Fawnstep was going to teach him how to battle badgers! Fawnstep laughed and walked next to the deputy. "Im not the one in charge of this patrol. Ask Hazelclaw." Copperpaw looked at Hazelclaw and flexed his claws. "Can we Hazelclaw? I can show you some new moves I've been practicing! Please!" He had a sudden burst of energy seeing the territory again and he wanted to just let loose.

Hazelclawave a hearty laugh. "Sure! But I've got an idea. What if you Treepaw and Viverpaw tried it out?I haven't seen Viverpaw train for a while now, and it'd be good to seeif she can match you both. She doesn't have as much experience as you, so maybe it'd get interesting." he said, amusment inhis tone. "Hey Viverpaw, you wannatry training real quick?" he called oover to her. She quickly walked up to him, her bubbley personia coming back. "Sure! Letstry it out." she said with a giggle. She sat in front of the others,ready.

Copperpaw smiled seeing Viverpaw look happier then she had a few moments ago. "Alright. I'm not gonna go easy on you so get ready!" Seeing the training area a few fox-lenghts away he ran over to it and crouched narrowing his eyes. Fawnstep took a place on the side of the clearing and watched patiently. She wanted to see how much Copperpaw was improving, and see if he didn't let his ego get in the way of his battle.
Copperpaw kept his claws in his paws and waited for Viverpaw.

Viverpaw raced over, feeling pretty happy.She suddenly had a flash backof the moves she had used on those other cats and then looked at Copperpaw. This would be an interesting fight. She kept her claws sheathed. ready to attack at any angle. Hazelclaw sawthe fire in her eyes and her smile. He saw how ready she was. Did she have a lower experience than Copperpaw? Or just as much? This would be a spectical to see.

Copperpaw surveyed Viverpaw trying to find any weak points and slowly moved around her, watching her every move. She had been tired from earlier but that rest she had must have regained some energy. With a flick of his tail he jumped at her side, with paws outstretched. Trying to tackle the she-cat he put all his weight on his back paws and sprang with all his power.

As Copperpaw eapt at Viverpaw, she immediatly fell backwardsand kicked him up by the under belly. She jumped away as he landed, claws still sheathed. She wanted him to make each first move. That would be the start. But if he figured that out-she'd use her second tactic-and it wasn't exactly an obvious one. Her tail twitched as she circled him, making sure that she knew each in and out to any attack he might make. When he had sprung at her, his hind legs had made a small movement before he jumped. She would use that as a key in case he did it again. Hazelclaw watched his apprentice with a bit of a surprised look. What ever she had done to fight those warriors and appretices, he hadn't quite seen something like that for a while. Coppepaw seemed to be able to come up with moves that were just as strange.

Copperpaw smirked and shook his pelt. "Nice move." He commented then ran at her but slide himself on the ground instead of attacking. Lifting himself up with his front paws as he slid he flipped himself over backward and landed on Viverpaw with his rear, and back paws while he swatted her head as his front paws came back down, making her chin hit the ground, but leaving himself open.
Fawnstep was surprised to see her apprentice do such a move like that. She had never taught him anything like that but she didn't want the other cats to think she didn't know that move either. "Don't leave yourself open!" She meowed and watched as Copperpaw noticed his belly was wide open.

Viverpaw knew something that might work on this. While Copperpaw was still on her, she bucked him off while his paws weren't hanging on, sending him off her and back on the groound. She had another idea. She started to run in an extreemly fast circle around Copperpaw. She shot at him, smacking his face, then went back to running in a circle around him and changed direction. She did this several times, not once unsheathing her claws. This was a move she had seen one of the loners do while she had been with them. They had learned it by watching dogs do this to eachother, and each time they shot at the confused target in the middle, their fangswould tear across the opponents face while their claws smashed into their legs. But this was practice, so she didn't use her clawsor teeth. Hazelclaw was surprised by this. He hadn't known a cat to use that type of move. Dogs normally did. But Viverpaw and Copperpaw had never encountered a dog and watched that move. So how would Viverpaw know how to pull it off?
