Copperpaw opened his eyes and looked around the den. Treepaw and Viverpaw were gone. Getting up slowly so he wouldn't wake up any of the other apprentices he walked out of the den and looked to the sky. A few tiny rays of light were just reaching the sky. A patrol will be out soon. He thought and looked around. Everyone was still asleep except for a few movements here and there. Wondering where the two apprentices went he got himself comfortable and lied down next to the den wondering when everyone would wake up.
Viverpaw woke up the next morning finding that no one else was up. She looked down to see that the only oones up other than herself were Treepaw and Copperpaw.
Copperpaw noticed Viverpaw lift her head from on top of a tree branch. Tilting his head he wondered if she had, had a bad dream too. By the look of some of the apprentices around camp most of them seemed like they could'nt sleep that great either. Looking at his paws he felt alittle tired but didnt feel like closing his eyes, as he looked at the ground he felt soft fur brush his side. "Hi Viverpaw.." He spoke his eyes still looking at the ground, but the cat next to him didn't ask him what was wrong, instead they spoke softly into his ear. "Everything will fall like snow. Peace does not last forever. Keep your eyes open and your claws sharp. Watch your back. The first snow will be stained with blood. You've had your peace. The time of the warriors is back. Use the skills we have given you, Or you won't last the winter. " Copperpaw lifted and eyebrow and looked up. "What did-" His eyes stretched wide as he looked around and noone was around him. Heart racing he hesitated for a moment then looked up to the branch where Viverpaw was sitting. Who was that... He thought and took a step forward looking around for any cat who was awake that could have talked to him, but everyone else was awake. "Everything will fall like snow...." He whispered and ran out of camp. Was something going to happen to the clans? Something only he knew? Or maybe...all the other apprentices know too.....
Treepaw opened his eyes warily when he heard Copperpaw leave. He felt his muscles tense with the thought of the dogs in hs dream he had had the other night. He looked around and decided to follow Copperpaw. He strode out of the camp and saw the other apprentice in the middle of the camp, looking confused. "Copperpaw?" he called.
Tatterwind woke with a start when he heard Treepaw call to Copperpaw. He stood and stretched out on the branch. Treepaw was headed for Copperpaw. The tabby tom climbed out of the tree and bounded into the camp. "Hello, Treepaw. Want to go hunting today?" Treepaw looked at him and shook his head. Tatterwind was taken aback. Treepaw had never turned down hunting.

Copperpaw took one pawstep near the camp entrance and stopped. Looking back at Treepaw he tried to make himslef look calm but his neck fur was bristling. "Uh...H-hey Treepaw." He replied nervously then looked toward Tatterwind as he spoke to his apprentice. Waiting till they were down Copperpaw's ear twitched. "I was just...going...for a walk and go collect some herbs for Willowtail. If Fawnstep needs me I'll be back soon..." Looking at the two cats one more time he walked out of camp and sighed. Something was wrong...Something was coming that could destroy the peace of all four clans....Shaking his head Copperpaw walked strait ahead into the forest trying to clear his mind and looking for herbs on the way.
Viverpaw leapt from the tree and padded away for a bit. Matbe she coukd go hunting, but that didn't seem likley after yesterday's events. She gave a small sigh as she watched Copperpaw and Treepaw walk together. Cats changed, and so did ther thoughts about others. Maybe Copperpaw and Treepaw wouldn't tell her anything ecause they didn't want her as a friend any more. She decided that this wasn't official and walked off to Hazelclaw's den. Maybe he would have a chore or something for her to do.
Copperpaw walked for awhile collecting herbs on the way until he decided to go back to camp. Walking into the clearing he dropped the herbs off at Willowtail's den then sat down outside watching the cat's around him. He kept thinking about the voice as he stared into the clearing, it was driving him crazy now. What if the other apprentices had the same dream too? He would have to talk to one of them, but who? Looking over to Viverpaw as she walked toward Hazelclaw's den he stood up and nodded. Viverpaw would listen, she's was like his best friend he had to tell her about the dreams and th voices. Running up to her he stopped her before she reached the deputy's den. "Viverpaw.can...can I talk to you? Somewhere outside of..camp?" He stared at her and pleaded with his eyes hoping she would say yes.
"Yeah, sure." said Viverpaw. What did he want to talk to her about? She followed him as he lead her to the tunnel beneath the brambles at the edge of the camp, or she lead him. SHe sat down and spoke,"So, what do you need?" she asked him. Ah well, Hazelclaw could wait a while longer. She looked at his pleading expression. His eyes looked the same as they had been when He had had the nightmare. "Is this about earlyer?" she asked him.
Copperpaw sat in front of Viverpaw and nodded. "Ive been...having these weird dreams lately" He confessed and took a deep breath. "Remember the day we werebattling and I told you I learned those moves by myself? Well I lied....my father..Bearpelt had been teaching me those moves...in my dreams. I did'nt really know why he was teaching me all those moves but then today when I woke up this morning I hearda cats voice in my ear, they said Peace will not last forever...I-I think it was a propechy but I wasnt sure.." He looked at Viverpaw now with a scared and confused look. "Im scared the clans might be in trouble, and I was hoping that you or another apprentice had any weird dreams too." His heart began to race as he stared at the she-cats face. What if she didnt believe him?
Viverpaw gave him a smile. "Well....lets just say I saw Treepaw with the same scareed expression as you when he woke up." she told him. But her smile faded. "I think I know what the danger is, even if I havn''t had a drea... remember Beast Pack? Well, Hazelclaw said it was important not to get on their bad side. And that they were extreemly strong and learned moves from other animals.....I think they may be the problem..." she trailed off, a crestfallen look upon her face. "And just when I thought I had found someone to trust after being attacked by those stupid cats on that clan patrol..."
