Viverpaw stumbled out from the brush and looked at her paws. "err...sorry. I just wanted to see what you were up to." she appologized. She looked up at him, but felt odd. The wind-it had been tearing and strong, and now it had stopped with Copperpaw. She looked back down at her paws in guilt. Copperpaw might get mad at her.
Copperpaw stared at her for a moment then nodded. "I was just going for a stroll...." He mewed and walked up to her. Although he had told Viverpaw about his dreams and the propechy he didn't think the wind thing was that important to tell her....yet. Staying still for a moment to see if the wind would start up again Copperpaw strained his ears but the wind was back to normal again. Sighing he looked back at Viverpaw and tilted his head. "Wanna go for a walk with me since your already out here?" He twitched his whiskers and tilted his head.
Viverpaw gave a small smile. "Yeah, sure." she replied, standing up. At least he wasn't mad. She padded alongside him as they went out on their way. But one thing winded her. Why had the wind been so strong when Copperpaw had run, and then stopped as he had? Ah well. She suspected that maybe it was something he would have liked to keep to himself, so she held her tongue. A walk would do them some good anyways with all that had happened.
As Copperpaw walked he knew Viverpaw had some questions but didn't want to ask him. She must have felt the wind when she was following me...Copperpaw thought and looked at the ground. Trying to make the mood seem easier Copperpaw looked up and smiled. "I bet I can beat you to that tree over there." He pointed his tail to a tree split in the middle of the others. Flicking his tail he didn't let her reply as he raced off toward the tree.
Viverpaw gave a grin."Bet noit!" she laughed, streaking off. Ah well. At least he was a bit happyer. SHe knew that he might not enjoy her company for following him, but if he wanted to hide it, then she wouldn't pesture him about it.
Copperpaw laughed as he slowed his pace enough for her to catch up. "Come on, I have to slow down just to-" his voice trailed off as he tripped on a tree branch and tumbled a few feet away from the tree ahead. Landing with all feet sprawled on the ground Copperpaw shook his head and laughed.
Viverpaw tackled him playfully. "Watch your toes!" she laughed. Gettingup she raced over tot eh tree with speedy precision. "Almost-!" she gasped as she ripped over a rock. SHe gave a giggle."looks like I can't quite stay on my toes." she laughed.
Copperpaw got up and ran toward Viverpaw and laughed. "Looks like you have two left paws." He grinned and made sure she got up before he raced to the tree and waited for her.
ic: Viverpaw raced after him with a giggle. "I'll still beat you!" she laughed. Whe sped up and was neck and neck with him, going at a good jogging pace, which turned to a sprint.
Copperpaw jogged with her for a bit and once she started sprinting he reliezed she was getting faster and faster. "Your not gonna win this race." He called and jumped up and landing on her and pinning the she-cat to the ground. His long-haired tail swishing back and forth over the ground as he kept her still. "Im not letting you go until you get tired." He purred in amusement.
