ooc:: SRYSRYSRY!!! I went to post yesterday, and it did that thing where it resets the page and deletes what you were gonna post. I got reallyy pissed...
ic:: Summerpaw ran through the forest as fast as her little paws could take her. She cursed StarClan for her little body. She'd always been the smallest in her litter, though her older stronger siblings died of greencough. Her paws raked across the hard brambles streched across the ground. Yowls sounded behind her and her fear held back the hiss on her tounge. If she stayed at the same pace, they'd get her for sure. Her paws sped on with more strength than she posessed, but it wasn't enough. A loud hiss came from behind her and she collapsed, feeling teeth sink into her neck.
Summerpaw awoke with a sore throat. She must have been screaming while she slept, not unusual that moon. Nightmares blotted out her dreams that whole month, the first month of her apprenticeship. She was the youngest apprentice. Growling and moaning told her that the older apprentices didn't enjoy the lately disturbance of sleep. She dragged herself to her paws and limped out of the apprentice den before any cat could ask about her scraped bloody paws.

Copperpaw groaned and took his paws off his ears as Summerpaw walked out of the apprentices den. Her yowling had been keeping him awake all night. Lifting up his tired body he walked into the clearing and noticed a few drops of blood on the ground. Keeping his nose to the ground he followed the little red dots leading to Summerpaw's paws. Looking up at her he grinned "Had a dream you were fighting a badger or something?" Seeing the look on her face he could tell something was bothering her.
Stormpaw uncurled from his own bed and stretched out his large young muscled legs. His deep orange eyes opened with protest as he managed to pull himself from his soft bed. Summerpaw's yowls and whimpers in the night didnt really bother him. He got to sleep on the opposite side of the den, plus he slept like a log. Unless he wanted too, you really couldnt wake him up. He padded out of the apprentice den and his jowls pulled in to a gaping yawn. He turned his eyes toward the other two who were awake. His broad shoulders and large face nearly gave him a goonish look. The kind that one would expect an idiot to have. His large physique only added to that image. However, his deep orange eyes betrayed this look for one of thoughtful intellegence. All in all he wasnt exactly what someone would call handsome or even good looking in the slightest. The young cat did manage to keep what little charm he had to himself. He ignored the other two, feeling that it would be rude to interupt them and headed for the fresh kill pile. His thick striped tail brushed the ground as he passed them by. His shoulders moved with every stride making the dark gray and black stripes over his body ripple like waves.
Waiting for Summerpaw's response a flash of light brown caught Copperpaw's eye, and he reliezed it was his mentor Fawnstep going into the nursery. Today was the day she was suppose to teach him how to fight badgers. Looking back at Summerpaw he lifted his head and moved his paws restlessly. "Uh sorry Summerpaw I have to go ask Fawnstep something real quick. I'll talk to you later. Oh and you should get something for your paw." Without waiting for her response he ran toward his mentor as she came out, her face full of worry. "Hey Fawnstep, are we gonna train today? You said we could practice badger fighting next." Copperpaw looked at his mentor and twitched his tail with impatience. Fawnstep seemed distracted as she looked toward the nursery. "Im sorry Copperpaw were going to have to reschedule our training for tomorrow. I have to get some things done in the nursery..." Copperpaw nodded and looked to the ground. "Ok...I guess we can train tomorrow...." Walking toward the fresh kill pile he sat down and sighed. It wasnt the first time Fawnstep had cancelled a training session with him. She just wasnt the kind of cat that liked to fight, or basically do any training. Looking for something to do Copperpaw looked around camp to see if he could go with any other cat on a patrol or hunt.

Hazel padded around camp, waking up his apprentice Viverpaw. She ran out and came up to him, excited for the day. But she had this feeling that today would have a bit more excitment than usual. She sat in front of him, vibrating like an over energetic bunny rabbit. Hazelclaw gav e a slight sigh. "Don't worry, we'll get your training done." he chuckled warmly. "Come on Viver, let's go and get Copperpaw and Fawnstep. They might want to go on a hunting patrole with us." and with that, she bounded after him, racing in circles around him with all her energy. She saw the others and ran up to them. Stormpaw and Snowfall seemed to e up as well.
