Treepaw boredly stood and padded over to Tatterwind, his mentor. "I don't wanna go out and look for someone! This is a day for hunting!" he growled. Tatterwind glared at his apprentice. "So, you'd rather lose a cat?" he snarled, swiping a paw at the smaller cat, who ducked out of the way just in time. Treepaw leaped over the paw and attacked his mentor's face, batting gently at his eyes. They both ended up on the ground laughing. "You're getting very good!" mewed Tatterwind, forgetting about the matter at hand.

I am Jaggedpine. Just thought I should let you know.
Hazelclaw gave a nervous laugh. "COme on, let's go look for her and Copperpaw, they could be dead by now." he whispered. He went to the camp entrance, waiting for them to follow. Viverpaw could be dead, and Copperpaw would have left for nothing. That would make matters much worse. He sat paitiently waiting for them, his mind growing distant. Viverpaw was like a daughter to him. She had no family either, and he had raised her. It would tear him to peices if she was dead.
Copperpaw began to tread even farther in the forest without a sniff of Viverpaw or the rogue. Stopping he watched as a couple of warriors ran by in the distant hissing and fur fluffed up as if they had been in a fight too. "What's going on?" Copperpaw mumbled and started to walk alittle faster. Going into the direction the warriors had been he suddenly stopped as a loner ran strait toward him. Yowling in alarm he jumped up dodging the loner and turned to see him stop and face the apprentice. The loner spat and narrowed his eyes at Copperpaw. "Didn't that she-cat teach you guys a lesson already? I thought you were going to get your leader on us, you changed your mind now?" The loner hissed and crouched ready to spring on the apprentice. "Wait!" Copperpaw dug his claws in the ground and stood up strait. "I have no idea what your talking about? Besides your a loner! What are you doing on another clans territory?" Copperpaw sighed as the loner took a step closer, not taking the apprentice's attitude very well. "Your all a bunch of no-good kittens." The loner spat and swiped a paw at Copperpaw's face. The apprentice dodged the attack and jumped at him, both cats yowling and twirling in a ball of fur and claws.
Off in the distance, Viverpaw heard hissing and yowling. She sharp andfang ran over to see what the comotion was. Viverpawwas angryer, seeing Copperpaw bein attacked, but she was alsoangry he was attacking. "Laluche, he's a friend, let himgo." she said. He quickly got off the apprentice, appologizing. He walked over to stand with the rest of the group as Carvern and Lee caught up. "Who is that?" asked Carvern. "He's a friend of mine. His nameis Copperpaw." Viverpaw explained in her tuaght tone. "Copperpaw, where is Hazelclaw? Did he come too?"She asked. She guessed that was a no. Sharp, Carvern, Laluche, and Fang all stood resolute. "They may send more of their fighters out here. Do you need an escort?" Fang asked, narrowing his eyes. "Yes, and pleasecome with us." Viverpaw responded. She looked atCopperpaw. "Come on, lets go." and she let copperpaw leadthe way.
Copperpaw was relieved to see Viverpaw safe but his claws itched seeing her with all these rogues. He stayed close to her making sure she wouldnt leave his sight again, not until a patrol of Waterclan cats came, if they were coming. "We should'nt be with these rogues..." He muttered in her ear and narrowed his eyes at the rogue who had attacked him. How could they trust them when one had just attacked him moments ago?
Viverpaw gave him her straight and aught look, almost an angry glare. "Maybe you can't trust them, but I'm able to." she answered. The Rouges ignored Their comments and held their tougues. Viverpaw had shown she would be their friend, so they could trust her.But Copperpaw seemed unwilling. howeer, if he was Viverpaws friend, they might trust him. Carvern watched the patrol run up to them. Viverpaw fluffed up her fur again, springing at them. Sharp and Fang followed. They all dove into battle, Viverpaw scoring more hits on the biggest warrior. The patrol lay breathless on the ground. Viverpaw hissed at them,"What did you come here for?"
Copperpaw watched Viverpaw as she hissed at the patrol, he looked around at the rogues surrounding the other warriors and he sat down thinking. Viverpaw only met these rogues for like a day, and she seemed like she would put her life out for any of them, just like her own clan. Blinking he shook his head and stood up suddenly angered at the thought of her putting these rogues ahead of her clan. "Viverpaw. What are you doing?" He tried to talk calmly but his pelt showed his unease. "These rogues are trespassing on another clans territory! You have nothing to do with it. Leave these warriors do what they are trained to do, theres no need for you attack them like that." He stared strait into the she-cats eyes and had an idea she wasn't going to take his comments lightly.
Viverpaw released them, and the rouges did the same. What was Copperpaw thinking? They had save her. She would repay them, and then she would go back to the clan. "Copperpaw, I'm simply repaying them for saving me. They're just friends." she said. The rouges nodded. "Yeah, it's not like she's part of our pack or anything. She's just in a bad mood right now." Fang answered truethfully. She was in a very bad mood. Ever since she had been taken by those two legs and attacked by that first patrol, her mood had swung from bubbley and happy to angry and defensive.
Copperpaw relaxed, happy that Viverpaw didn't claw his ears off, but he shook his head ignoring the rogues. "I know they saved your life, without them I wouldnt have found you, but fighting another clan's warriors is just going to cause problems." Looking at the patrol of warriors he sighed and turned back to Viverpaw. "We need to go back to camp, and then you can tell Goldenstar about these cats." He pointed to the group of rogues with his tail, referring to them. "He'll find a way to pay them back but right now we need to get back to camp before a patrol enters another clans territory looking for us."
"Alright, lets go then." she replied. She turned back to the rouges. "We need to go our seperate ways. THanks for saving me." she meowed to them. Fang, Carvern, Sharp, Laluche, and the last one in their group nodded in understanding. "Come on, lets move out before more come here." Carvern commanded as he and his cats tore through the forest to get back to their home. Viverpaw turned back to Copperpaw and started on her way back to camp. "Come on Copperpaw, I'm sure everyone's noticed you're missing. Thanks for coming to save me." she said. But her mood hadn't improved too much. She walked with her fur fluffed up, her eyes and ears alert.
