Duskstar exhaled, counter-stepping to fluidly balance herself from the nudge, and a small smile ghosted over her features. "They brought in another excitement. Injured loner, it seems. On the edge of our territory. Didn't bother to tell me, either, until I jumped down and asked what was going on." She huffed, before sitting down a ways away from the crowd. She shook her head quickly. "I'm not even going to bother with telling them that it's not smart to crowd around an injured cat, and especially not to talk to him while he's recuperating. Let them figure it out themselves, for once."

Paintedleaf nodded Kodiac sounded like a great name. Racing over to Scorchheart she was just in time to hear her greet the tom again. Sitting down she waited for him to respond.
The tom looked up at the two cats and nodded. "Hi..." He replied and could tell they wanted somthing. Paintedleaf smiled and tilted her head just alittle to the side. "Well, I think you might be here for a while, and we can't call you tom the whole time your here so....Scorchheart said we should call you Kodiak. If you like that name that is..." The tom looked at Paintedleaf and thought for a moment. "Kodiak......" Something about that name rang a bell. Nodding he smiled. "I like it."

Scorchheart felt a bit crowded. The tom might feel the same with so many people staring at him and standing around him. She flicked her tail. "I think he needs a bit of room. Can you guys kinda buzz off for a bit?" she asked. The crowd dispersed, but some still stared at him with interest before leaving. She decided that maybe she wasn't needed there either, and padded away.

The tom now temporarly named Kodiak nodded to Scorchheart and Paintedleaf before they left. Paintedleaf flicked her tail in return and walked over with Scorchheart. Kodiak looked around their camp, or what he would call a shelter. Spotting the tabby cat some of the cat's called Duskstar, Kodiak layed his head on the ground and watched her body expressions. She looked agitated. Was it because he was here? He must be a bother for them. Getting up he winced at the pain on his side but managed to walk over to her. "Im sorry for having your cats use there own medicine and plants for me. I'll leave now if you would like. I don't want to be a nuisance." He mewed keeping his head low so the leader's head was higher. Where he lived it was a custom for visitors or lower ranking cats to lower their heads and respect bigger authorities and by the way this cat looked he could tell she was a bigger cat. Not in size but in power.

Scorchheart's ears twitched as she heard this. SHe hadn't wanted to make him feel bad. She padded up into a tree to watch in case his wounds got worse. Duskstar was surley made at them. But did she have reason to be mad at the calico tom? He seemed like he didn't want to be baggage to them, but he needed help. She quickley snuck over to shatterstep and Aurapaw, requesting cobwebs and a few poppy seeds. "I do know a bit of my medicine." she told them.

Ebonycloud's mouth twisted up in to a wicked grin seeing how Duskstar was pouting in her own way. To him it was very endearing. When the newly named tom stepped forward Ebonycloud couldnt help but feel a little aggitated himself. He tilted his head to the side and sneered, "Have some pride would you. You sound like a sniviling kit. Youre here now and you should be thankful but not so submissive. If you act like a spineless coward how do you expect us to respect you? Hmph..." he snorted as he finished the sentence. The tom's fluffy black tail flicked at the end with a slight irritation for the new comer.

Scorchheart heard Ebonycloud's scorn and let out a low his of annoyance. Just because the tome was trying to be nice and sort things out didn't mean that he had to act so rudley. SHe came from the den with a few poppy seeds and cobwebs, giving each their proper use. She wanted to tell Ebonycloud off, but she felt weak. He was a much older warrior than herself, and if a fight broke out, she didn't have a chance. But she wasn't about to let it go. SHe finished resetting Kodiac's wrappings and brushed past Ebonycloud without a word. She padded off to the warrior's den, finding no one else there.She watched for any other snide comments. She wasn't going to tolerate it, not even from warrior's like Ebonycloud or Jaggedpine.

Ebonycloud watched as Scorchheart passed by with that annoyed look on her face. He lifted a brow at her, seeing the self righteous nature about her. Her pride would have to be broken someday if she was ever going to get along with the rest of the clan. He knew she was getting mad for Kodiac's sake but she didnt need to. In fact it would only hinder him. Ebonycloud had grown up with a pretty harsh mentor to he would have been smacked around if he had ever shown that face to an older warrior. Yet Ebonycloud was gentler than his mentor Ratclaw. He completely brushed off Scorchheart as she had done to him. Her opinion in this case didnt matter to him. If Kodiac wanted any sort of respect out of Ebonycloud, he was going to have to cowboy up and stop with the tail tucked between his legs act. His memories were gone and Ebonycloud had no expierence in that area but this new cat needed to find the resolve he needed if he was going to try to get those memories back.

Scorchheart calmed for a bit, and went out to the edge of camp. Too many things were changing too fast. And she was feeling the need to get to be correcting them. But that wasn't her place. She spotted Shadowpaw coming over and turned herself away. If she got mad she didn't want to have to take it out on him. He padded off with a last glance before looking at the new comer. Scorchheart heard a whisper escape his chops. "Meh... why is he here? He looks like he isn't worth much." she turned away. SHe couldn't blame him for making that light comment, but it wouldn't slip her mind. She wanted to keep away from all of that right now, feeling frustrated. She walked out to the terra and decided it would do her some good.
