Scorchheart's fur bristed and she gave a yowle of alarm, nearly falling out of the tree. Gripping on the edge of the branch, she let out a light laugh."Aurapaw!" she scoffed with sarcasm. The tabby below watched. He wasn't sure why, bu for some reason...he couldn't leave that spot in the brush. He watched Scorchheart fall from the tree, landing on all fours. He had an idea. Maybe he could chase her out of the terratory. He skirted fromt he bramble and leapt on her. SHe gave a ywle of surprise, knocking him off. Both were the same size, had amber hazel eyes, a brown base coat, black stripes, and a light brown stripe from the muzzle to the rear. It looked liek they were mirror moving eachoter with each strike, and the difference between them became indistinguishable, other than the fact that one was in Shadowclan, and the other in Thunder clan, as well as their genders.
Aurapaw gave a yowl of alarm. She stayed in the tree clinging to the branch. Wondering if she should climb down or not. She decided to stay in the tree. She climbed higher and higher. "Scorchheart!" Aurapaw yowled from the top of the branch. She was not a battle-trained warrior but a medicine cat apprentice she would get her pelt ripped apart down there. "Scorchheart! Are you ok?!" Aurapaw yowled from the top of the tree.
Scorchheart and the tabby warrior let out a yowle in responce. They slashed at eachother with the same paws, each attack only blocking the other. It was like fighting yourself. You couldn't win or tell the difference between who was who. Scorchheart let out a hiss of annoyance as the warrior smacked her ears with his paws, like it was some game. They both ended up biting eachother's tails and crying out for the pain.
Jaggedpine looked over at Ebonycloud and nodded. He agreed with most of what he said. He flicked his tail at him and stalked away to the warriors' den. A growl escaped his throat and he felt that there was something wrong. He was about to race out of the camp when he decided he should tell Duskstar first and set a good example for the rest of the clan. He climbed up to her den and stood in the entrance. "Duskstar?" he asked. "I think there's something going on in our territory. Do you mind if I go check it out?" he asked.

Duskstar looked up from where she was pacing and sat down before Jaggedpine even entered her den. "Sure," she replied, nodding amiably. "Take a cat or two with you, if there's something really going on, I don't want you stuck out there alone. I hope you instincts are wrong, we've had enough trouble recently." She shook her head frustratedly.

"If that was meant to be comforting, it was not."
"Everyone dies eventually. Once you are born, you begin to die."
"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
Jaggedpine nodded. "I agree. See you soon!" he called as he bounded down from the Highledge. He looked around the camp and saw some cats talking at the fresh-kill pile. Branchfoot and Pinewhisker looked like they wanted something to do, so Jaggedpine stalked up to them. "Branchfoot, Pinewhisker, do you want to come on a patrol with me? I feel there's something going on," he said. The two warriors nodded and Jaggedpine led them out of the camp. He caught the fresh scents of Aurapaw and Scorchheart. He snorted. They were always getting into trouble. He stated following the scents at a fast pace until Branchfoot, one of the best trackers in the clan, stopped dead. "What?" Jaggedpine asked. "ShadowClan!" Branchfoot growled. Jaggedpine couldn't believe it! ShadowClan again?! He started racing for the border and he heard the yowl of fighting cats. He burst out of the bushes and saw Scorchheart and a cat that looked just like her, rolling on the ground, spitting and fighting. He looked up and saw Aurapaw in a tree. He turned back to the cats, and yowled, "Stop!"

Scorchheart and the tabby stopped at the yowle and jumped back from eachother, falling over. They both shot up, scorchheart looking to Jaggedpine. The Tabby looked in his direction too, both letting their angry faces slide. Scorchheart flattened her ears and looked at her paws, the tabby still standing. He snorted a bit, a smirk crossing his face.Scorchheart flicked her ears a bit, unsure of what to do or say. She looked up to where Aurapaw was in the tree. Then back to Jaggedpine , Branchfoot, and Pinewhisker.
Jaggedpine padded over to where the two cats were. He looked at the strange cat with ShadowClan scent on him. "Who are you and what are you doing on ThunderClan territory?" he snarled, tail flicking challengingly. His eyes were blazing with anger. "We've had enough fighting today, and if you know what's good for you, you'll go running to mama where you belong!" he hissed.

The Tabby flicked his tail impatiently. "My name is Strikeclaw. I simply got lost is all." he said with sarcasm. But at Scorchheart's hiss, he ran off like mad. She turned back to The others. "I caught him trying to remark the border...." she said. "Sorry." she tried, but she knew that wouldn't be good enough. Jaggedpine seemed blazing mad, and the wrong words would make it worse.
Jaggedpine looked right at Scorchheart. "Why did you fight? Don't you know that the clan is already paranoid as it is?' he asked, tail lashing with annoyance. His claws dug into the ground. "Go back to camp. We'll patrol the border," he said.
