Scorchheart decided not to explain and did as he said, looking up at Aurapaw."COme on, lets go." she said, padding back to camp. Not much was going to happen anyway, and even if she had explained what had happened, Jaggedpine would have found out sooner or later. Soon as she arrived at camp, she stayed put in the warrior's den. Not much to do other than lie around though.
Jaggedpine, Pinewhisker, and Branchfoot walked along the border. Nothing else strange was going on, so they went back to camp. Jaggedpine saw Scorchheart and padded over. "What happened back there?" he asked. His voice was gentle and calm, without a trace of anger or anything. He waved his tail, telling her it was okay, and his eyes were like his voice, the fire gone. He just wanted to know what happened.

Scorchheart let out a sigh."I was just gong for a walk and I saw him trying to remark the borders. He tried to get off with saying he got lost." she started."Then he ran to the brambles pretending he'd left and I climbed up the tree and spotted him. Aurapaw gave me a bit of a frigh on accident and I fell out of the tree and he streaked from the bushes and attacked." she finished. "Look, it all sounds crazy, so I wouldn't blame you if you didn't beleive me." she told him. Duskastar and Ebonycloud would be on her case anyway, so it'd be useless to try to explain it in the same way without it sounding like some made up story.
Jaggedpine shrugged. "Anything could happen these days," he said. He stood and padded away. It was crazy. First, the fight with ShadowClan, then Kodiak, then this? He sighed and looked at the setting sun. It would be soon time to retire to his den and get some rest. First though, he was starving, so he went to the fresh-kill pile and ate a mouse. He saw Bluepelt and Pouncetail, talking, near the nursery. Bluepelt seemed excited. He should be. His kits would be made apprentices any day now.

Scorchheart watched him go, not really wanting to talk anymore. SOmetimes she wondered how she had even made it as a warrior. But she never could question Duskstar. And besides, she shouldn't. Duskstar always had a reason, even if it was the least obvious thing in the world. Thatwas probably one of the many reasons as to why she was leader. But right now, it was the least of her worries. Aurapaw could've gotten hurt in the fight.
Jaggedpine yawned. He looked across the camp and thought it might be time to put together dawn patrol. He padded to where a bunch of cats were gathered. Shadowpaw, Raspclaw, Pinewhisker, and Branchfoot were willing to go on the patrol. After that, Jaggedpine went to his den to sleep.

Aurapaw sighed were they gonna get in trouble!? Ebonycloud or Duskstar would decide. Aurapaw shivered she had noticed that Duskstar had been getting mad because the warriors were not respecting her enough. Going out alone was against the rules. Because apprentice were not aloud to go out alone. Aurapaw looked at Scorchheart. Was she nervous?
Scorchheart felt eyes watching her and looked over to Aurapaw. Was she scared? If Ebonycloud and Duskstar had to get on one person's case, it wouldn't be Aurapaw's. It wasn't her fault for getting mixed up in that huge fight. She'd have to come up with a cover story for Aurapaw though. Maybe she brought her along? Yeah, that might work, but it'd be bloody hard to back up.
Jaggedpine couldn't fall asleep for some reason, so he stood and came out of the warriors' den. Scorchheart was in the camp where he had last seen her, and he padded over to her. "Hi," he said, laying down next to her. The sky was a brilliant burst of color as the sun dropped below the horizon. Jaggedpine saw the first traces of the moon and Silverpelt. He smiled as he looked at his warrior ancestors.

Aurapaw looked at Scorchheart again. She did not look very nervous. Aurapaw was looking around for something to do but it was kinda hard to have fun when your waiting to see if your gonna get in trouble. Aurapaw just decided to play with the grass. She was still kinda bored though.
