Scorchheart listened to the third verse carefully, remembering one of the shadowclan cats saying those futile words:"We are loyal to the forest" it rang in her ears. They had broken the code by crossing the boundry and trying to steal terra. She remembered her own retort: "How dare you call yourselves loyal!" would this be repeated? Or was it that it had already started with the fight against shadowclan? The competition for food had always been a nucance, and now it would leave only two clans? She hung her head. If only she hadn't remembered the fight, maybe the cat's words wouldn't have made sense to her. Hearing Jaggedpine's words, she was surprised he didn't remember.
ooc: well, so far, we got back to camp after scorchheart faught some cat that looked like her and aura was in a tree, Jaggers and a patrol checked out the border then came back, and now they and yerself are in a starclan dream. =3 hope that helps!
OOC: Okey doke I just read the part where the dream started so Ill start from there.
Paintedleaf looked around at the starclan cats and her own clan-mates. She couldnt understand why Scorchheart, Ebonyclud and HER were recieving a propechy as well. Shouldnt Duskstar, Aurapaw, Shattertsep, and Jaggedpine only be hearing this? Looking over to the starclan cat she thought about the propechy over and over not wanting to speak yet until she understood it.
Ebonycloud tilted his head to the side. Despite this being just a dream an omious feeling settled on his stomach. "Alrighty then," he yawned. "Now can i go back to sleeping normally? As much fun as it is dreaming about Duskstar i think its about time i go back to chasing blue mice through pink fields dont you think?" The black tom flicked his tail back and forth. Speedstar turned his attention to the doubting warrior. The look in the former leader's eyes pieced Ebonycloud straight to the soul. This was real and it was happening to him.

Scorchheart looked over to Ebonycloud, not much surprise coming to her. How could anyone beleive this? And yet, why shouldn't they? She could feel the heat of glare in the light, and she could most definatly hear. And besides, didn't their warrior ancestors come to them in times of great need as they had done for many warriors and clans in the past?
Duskstar's head instinctively tilted to the side, her unique way of showing that she was thinking, or perplexed. "Basically, war will spread through the clans are destroyed and only two remain, correct?" She didn't let it show how much this could potentially worry her, although she was sure Speedstar saw right through her. She had to remain strong for her clanmates though. "What's the point of telling us if we can't stop it? Because there's obviously no way to go through this except to fight through the tragedy. What's your reasoning?" She knew that StarClan sometimes enjoyed playing with the lives of cats, and she didn't trust them, not that easily. Not since they took her mentor, Cinderclaw, from her.

"Everyone dies eventually. Once you are born, you begin to die."
"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
Ebonycloud glanced sideways at Duskstar. She was taking this seriously. If this really was real, of course she would. If it was just Ebonycloud's overactive imagination then he was doing a pretty good rendition of her. A frown spread over his face as he turned back toward Speedstar. "Just to give us fair warning and clear their own concieous obviously. Now when it does happen and we ask 'Why did Starclan not show us?' They can say, 'See? We told you so.' Their just making sure they can sleep at night. A figure of speech of course." The dark warrior narrowed his eyes. "This is stupid. If two clans are definantly going to die, why dont you go warn them instead? I sure as heck dont intend on letting Thunderclan be one of them. Not until im cold in my grave." The black tom's ice blue eyes burned with passion.
Duskstar felt a soft smile quirk at her lips. "Are you telling us because you think we're going to be destroyed? I refuse to let my clan be ruined. Not by you, not by rogues, and certainly not by the other clans. They'll have to kill me seven more times before I let them." She shook her head and stood up, her tail flicking to the side. "If you're quite finished, I would like to get back to sleeping and cats that I can deal with. Who won't twist my words against me." She had never particularly enjoyed StarClan's way of treating the living, as if they were stupid kits or some such idiocy.
