OOC: Ebbs and Mossie are out of the camp at the moment ;D
Ebonycloud grinned at the young she cat, "Guardian eh? Sounds good to me." He listened to her as she continued to talk about her fightign skills. "You seem very confident you young whipper snapper," he laughed to himself and cuffed her ear playfully. "THe way you talk you would think you could take on Shadowclan all by yourself. But how can you do that when you cant even beat me!" he laughed loudly and tackled the she cat. They both toppled over and she battered him away. Ebonyclodu rolled away from the she cat, laughing as he went. His tail lashed back and forth with excitement. "Come on you! I dare you to beat me!" his ice blue eyes flashing.
Mossflower laughed. "Oh, watch me!" She launched her body towards Ebonycloud and landed on him, square in the chest. Knocking him backwards, it exposed his stomach but he quickly got back up. Mossflower dodged under his legs and swiped his paws playfully. "You.. big... black... furball!" She said, laughing. "No wonder you're 'strong and no one beats you'!" she said, laughing. "Cause you look so scary!" She smiled. "And yes, I believe I can take down the whole of ShadowClan myself," she teased.
Ebonycloud reared back so that he wouldnt be knocked off balance at having his paws swiped at. Ebonycloud roared with laughter, "Ill show you how scary i can be!" he pounced on her and she struggled. He began to tickle her all over. "This is how i beat Windclan's deputy!" he laughed to the point that his eyes hurt with tears. Despite teh playful mood between the two, it was only a small distraction of what they should have been focusing on. The prochecy that Starclan gave them loomed all around the two warriors. Yet this was a way to deal with that stress. Forming friendships and being able to play while they still could.
ic: Scorchheart padded out over to the warrior's den. She saw some kits playing near it and laughed. Shadowpaw pounced on her and she bucked him off. She let out a laugh."Trust me, no one has a good grip on me." she joked. She listened as more of the clan was bustling about.
Mossflower laughed. "Oh gee, you scare me so much, Ebbs!" She flipped Ebonycloud off her back and got up. She jumped and landed on his back. "And that.." she said, "Is how I beat a ShadowClan warrior. And you know they fight dirtier than a WindClan deputy!" She got off of Ebonycloud laughing that tears sparkled in her eyes. "It's nice to have a real, true friend," she murmured softly. Mossflower didn't want Ebonycloud to know. Since awhile, she never connected to the clan. Not many cats were her friends, and only a few. The prophecy truly brought her closer to Ebonycloud.
Ebonycloud shrugged his shoulder as she jumped off, "Alright, alright. I admit defeat. Shadowclan cats not out fight dirty but they are dirty. I bet you could smell them from here." He threw his head back and laughed. The tom hadnt really been able to laugh like this with anyone but Duskstar. It was... nice, actually. Duskstar had been his friend since forever and a day ago but it was always nice to make connections with others as well. Mossflower had proven that not all cats in Thunderclan were naive simpltons that would take in any random rogue off the ground and give him food. She was at least able to banter with him and that was good enough. "Come on then oh master of battles. We should get back before they send out a search party for us." He smiled warmly at the she cat as he brushed by her.
After watching the lake and fish swim by Paintedleaf stood up and stretched her legs. She loved just leaving the camp and being by herself sometimes. Walking back to camp she kept her eyes and ears alert for any prey near by. Her body felt relaxed finally and not hyper, angry or just tense. Letting her paws take her back to camp she listened to the forest around her.
Duskstar waved the three warriors away and leaped back up to the Highledge, her most-occupied thinking place. This was where she was both connected and disconnected to the clan below, where she could think in peace, and the wind could ruffle her fur, and she wouldn't have to worry about anything but solving the problems laid before her. This was where she was neither flying nor sitting, but something in between. This was where she could escape the clan but still be there if needed. The only place - besides being with Ebonycloud - that she felt calm, peaceful, happy even. Had she been younger, her cheeks would probably have been tinted with light red, but she was older now, more mature, and that part of her was locked away, hidden. Perhaps not around Ebonycloud, so much, since all her walls were down around him, but around anyone else, they all thought she was an elder stuck in a young warrior's body. So what to do? Being around Ebonycloud made her happy, she knew that much and refused to admit anything else. Perhaps unconsciously she did, but not out loud, never out loud.

"If he dies, then it will be God's will."
"If that was meant to be comforting, it was not."
"Everyone dies eventually. Once you are born, you begin to die."
"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
Ebonycloud and Mossflower entered the camp again with flushed cheeks and lively eyes. Their playful romp had made their blood pump and caused them to almost glow. THe dark tom waved his tail toward Mossflower as they parted and he headed toward the middle of camp. The warrior could almost feel a pair of eyes on him and he knew just who they belonged to. A chuckle pushed past his lips. "Morning leader!" he called out. "Did you just wake up? You lazy pile of bones," he was obviously teasing her and as always there was an underlying respectful tone when he adressed her. If he ever went to far she would let him know.
Paintedleaf turned her head and heard a soft chirp almost hidden in the tall grass around a tree. Crouching the she-cat crawled silently toward the noise and saw a robin pecking at the ground for worms. Keeping herself low Paintedleaf waited for the right moment then leapt at the bird catching it in her paws before it could fly away. Breaking its neck with one bite she picked the prey up and walked the rest of the way to camp. Placing the bird in the fresh-kill pile when she made it back Paintedleaf frowned. It would have to be refilled again soon. Hopefully leaf-bare would end soon and more prey would start coming out.
