Ic: Jaggedpine shrugged at Paintedleaf. He glared into Eaglescar's eyes. "If you don't get away from the border right now, you're going to get your fur ripped off. Move it!" he hissed. Eaglescar hesitated, then turned and reluctantly stalked off. Jaggedpine huffed. "Let's hope that taught them a lesson," he growled, then turned to his patrol. He nodded to Scorchheart who had joined them. "Let's go to WindClan now, shall we?"

"Sure, alright." said Scorchheart. But Shadowclan wouldn't give up that easily. She watched Eaglescar and his patrol stalk off. "So, what were you doing again? ZGoing to WIndclan?" Scorchheart asked them, sitting down. She didn't exactly want to go, but then again, she didn't want to let them go without her. She twitched her whiskers, waiting for an answer.

Ebonycloud stretched from inside the warriors den. His mouth moved in to a gaping yawn that made his whiskers quiver. His ice blue eyes looked groggily around the camp as he stepped out to greet the morning. The dawn patrol had already left and cats were teeming around the camp. The dark warrior flicked his fluffy black tail back and forth as he decided what he wanted to do that day. With a shrug of his shoulders he trotted to the fresh kill pile. Along the way he sent a large smile to his leader who "watched" the camp with such determination. "Good morning Duskstar!" he called over, letting her know that he had seen her.

Paintedleaf · WindClan Warrior

Paintedleaf took one last glance behind her her to the now disappearing shadowclan patrol and shook her head. They'll be back. Shadowclan cats are stubborn, and wont go that easily she thought, and heard Jaggedpine tell Scorchheart they were going by Windclan border next. Jumping ahead she sped infront of the patrol and yowled. "Ill beat you guys there!" Speeding through the forest she jumped over small bushes and branches and ran full speed toward Windclan border.

Jaggedpine laughed and raced after Paintedleaf. Maybe this would keep his mind off ShadowClan. Paintedleaf was fast, and he put up a challenge. Jaggedpine pumped his legs faster until he was at Paintedleaf's side. He heard the rest of the patrol behind them. Jaggedpine laughed again, then turned a sharp corner and got a little concerned. Aurapaw might not be able to make that turn without running into something. The deputy slowed down and turned back.

Paintedleaf looked back to see Jaggedpine turn to help Aurapaw in case she couldnt make the turn. Smiling she looked strait ahead again and leapt over one last bush before she felt the wind blowing on her face from the small hills ahead. Slowing down she stopped and waited for the rest of the patrol to catch up. At least there was no scent of a Windclan patrol she thought and looked past the border toward the moore.

After Jaggedpine had made sure that Aurapaw could make the turn, Jaggedpine whirled around and raced on at top speed, and was suddenly at Paintedleaf's side. His sides heaved and his tail flicked, but his eyes gleamed with determination. "Good job," he said, smiling at the calico warrior. He scented the WindClan scent markers. They must have been renewed them earlier. Midnightstep suddenly burst out next to them.

Scorchheart ran after them, making sure she had enough stamina. "Jaggedpine, do you want me to come or head back to camp?" she asked, heading through the trees. If she wasn't needed, she was heading back to camp. She saw Midnightstep, and was startled by her sudden entry. Still waiting for Jaggedpines answer, she racedalongside them.
