Scorchheart dropped the tail in shock and looked over to Paintedleaf and Jaggedpine. "I don't know. Only if leader and Deputy agree." was all she said. She saw a little Shadowclan warrior stuck in the brush. He must have gotten stuck while leaving. He also looked to weak to move. She walked over with a glare and picked him out of it. He stood on shaky legs. "Get out now."she said. He gave her a frightened look and ran off into the trees.

Jaggedpine · ThunderClan Deputy

Jaggedpine dipped his head to Paintedleaf and Scorchheart. "Go ahead," he panted. The hot, sticky blood seeping from his shoulder stained his white fur a dark red. The scratch across his face wasn't too bad. It would heal. He limped over to where the rest of the cats were that were okay. "Please, do any patrols you can. Duskstar ordered two patrols." The deputy flicked his tail to Raspclaw and Bluepelt. "You two go with Paintedleaf," he said. The two nodded and padded over to the calico warrior. He then turned to Kodiak and Flatpaw. He flicked his tail toward Scorchheart, and the two made their way to her. He padded over to Scorchheart. "If you don't mind, I'm setting you at a head of a patrol."

Paintedleaf walked to the camp entrance with her patrol and dipped her head to Jaggedpine and Duskstar on the way out. Bluepelt and Raspclaw kept pace with her as the warrior walked strait to Windclan border. "Well start at Windclan border and hopefully the other patrol will go to Shadowclan then maybe we can meet up halfway and hunt on our way to camp." Raspclaw nodded in agreement while Bluepelt kept silent. 'He must be thinking of his kits.' Paintedleaf thought and looked at the blue pelted warrior. "Well pick up some branches and moss on the way so we can help out with the dens, and make them stronger." She reasuured him and kept walking.

Scorchheart looked over at Jaggedpine in surprise, but took the offer seriously. "Alright then, let's go." she said, vanishing into the forest with a flick of her tail. She popped up every now and then to make sure they were following. After a while, she signalled to stop, tail in the air, then flattened it and her ears as she stocked a rather thin looking rabbit. THe snow wasn't loud under her paws-yet. One crunch meant one less peice of prey for them.

Kodiak watched Scorchheart stalk the rabbit and he focused on every movement she made. Listening to the rabbit's steps he kept low so the cat could catch her prey and he wouldnt make her loose her kill. For some reason being with the group of cats seemed familiar. Although he knew he wasn't with Thunderclan before he got hurt it was possible he could've been with another group of cats. Staying perfectly still he kept watching the rabbit and Scorchheart.

Paintedleaf and her patrol made it to the Windclan border within moments. Scenting the markers quickly nothing seemed unsual. Turning to Bluepelt and Raspclaw she waited until they were done then decided to split up and look for nearby prey. The two warriors nodded and walked in directions while Paintedleaf headed up the way where the medicine cats would go to the moonpool.

Scorchheart leapt at the rabbit, catching it just in time. She had it by the tail and it squirmed. She snapped its neck quickly and quickly stored it so they could continue. "Alright, that's one." she said. She saw nothing more yet. The snow made the scent of prey faint. She drank in the air. Not much to track out here. She saw Kodiac watching her and gave him a quizical look. "You alright?" she asked him.

Kodiak blinked and reliezed he was still staring at Scorchheart. "Uh...Yea. I was just thinking about when Im going to leave." Standing up Kodiak looked toward the direction Paintedleaf had found him and sighed. "I...I feel like someone's waiting for me...." he mewed and coudlnt let go of the feeling that someone or more cats WERE waiting for him. Shaking his head he looked back at Scorchheart. "I think Im going to leave once your clan is healthier."

Paintedleaf scented the air and picked out a fresh scent of a squirrel nearby. Crouching she kept herself low and looked around. A fluffy little squirrel was sitting by the edge of a tree looking for acorns. Stalking it Paintedleaf moved closer to it and waited until it had its back turned to her. With a jump she raced the few fox-lenghts to it and grabbed it with her paws before it had a chance to escape. Snapping its neck she picked it up in her mouth and walked back toward where the patrol had split up.

Scorchheart gave a nod. "Alright, that's fine." she said. She sniffed again. the faint scent of a mouse reached her. She followed it and came up to the Shadowclan border. Stalking it she saw it was half on their side and half on shadowclan's She took another step and pounced-and so did her other. They collided in the air and the mouse ran off. he stepped back onto the border. She hissed. But he hadn't tresspassed so she turned. He gave a low growl.

Jaggedpine padded over to wher Shatterstep and Aurapaw were hard at work. "C-can you help me?' he asked, voice slightly raspy. He sank his claws into the earth for no real reason at all. The bitter wind caught his face. With the wind came a feeling. Something grave and dangerous. He looked out into the sky and was surprised that no one hadn't noticed it before. Clouds, thick gray ones, blanketed the sky, and they rolled in furiously.
