Flick stood and followed John out of the room. All was quiet, just as before. There wasn't the slightest sound. Flick began to lead the way to the stairs. He climbed them, and at the top, one of the pods leaped out at him. Instinctively, Flick kicked the pod so hard it flew back onto the floor.

Hayley watched Flick and John leave then turned to Alexia. "I'll help. Should we all stay in one room or split up? Theres about four couches all together." She told the teenager and walked over to the nearest couch.
John walked out behind Flick and stopped when a pod jumped out and Flick kicked him. Seeing the pod on the ground knocked out John nodded and walked passed Flick. Smiling he kept walking and decided to lighten himself up by messing with the scientist. "Soooo how's Hayley been?" He looked at Flick pretending he was interested. Knowing Hayley didnt tell anyone they were cousins he decided to act like they had been together for awhile seeing Hayley liked the scientist for one reason or another.
Alexia helped her. "I think we should sleep seaperate. Guys in one room, girls in anpther." she told Hayley. It didn't take much effort to move the couches. "How about the guys get the room with the bed?" she asked Hayley. She wanted to know which room would suit who. And if there were any problems, she knew how to fix it. SHe sat on a couch with Jack wagging his tail and trying to lick Hayley's face.
Flick smiled at John. "She's been pretty good. She's very interesting," he said, walking faster now. He thought of John as a friend. Finally, they made it to the attic. Flick pushed the rusty door open, and there lay the stairs. It was totally dark. "Crap," he whispered. "We don't have light." He saw the light gleaming from his lab, and he knew the area well, so he decided to wing it. He began climbing down the stairs.

Hayley laughed and petted Jack on the head. "Alright that's a good boy." She smiled and pushed him away. "That sounds good. With me." Sitting on the couch she looked around the room and sighed. "Although this place is a living nightmare, Im sure going to miss it when we leave." She spoke quietly and thought for a moment.
John followed Flick and stopped at the stairs. "Were going up there with no light?" He sighed and began following the scientist with unease. "Just keep your ears open for any other breathing." He told Flick and kept walking.
Flick extended his arm with the thumb up, to let John know that he heard him. The scientist listened hard, then realized that John didn't know tat he was the creator of the disease. Or did he? Flick shook the thought away and started to go a little faster down the stairs.

Arina shivered at the thought. "Well...this has been my home for years..." she said. SHe didn't have a house or place to go to if she left, and she knew nothing of the outside world. She'd never been away from her apartment before this, and when she was little. Would it be as they said? The police at the ready to shoot? ANd was it really lush and colorful? Jack barkede happily hte fell asleep on the couch.
Hayley looked at Alexia and could tell she was going to have a hard time leaving the building. Thinking about what would be waiting for them she clenched her fists and looked toward one of the windows that had been covered from the outside just like the rest of them. There was no way they could just get out of the building without being seen they would have to find a way out maybe underground. And even if they did get out what would they do then? The government said there was no one in the building and it was like they didn't exist. What if they found them? What they kill each and everyone? Hayley looked at the ground and shook her head.
John followed Flick down the stairs silently as they made their way to his lab.
Ooc: Plus, how could Alexia never been away from her apartment except when she was young if she trained to be a doctor, and she has to get, like, food and medicine and stuff. Just saying...
Ic: Flick finally made it to the bottom of the stairs and looked into his lab. Nothing had messed with it since he had been here last. He looked at his notes and fumbled with some chemicals, then put them together. A new batch of the cure stood before him, and he smiled.
