Dallas thought for a moment and sighed. "Uh..yea. My house wont be the best place to go to right now...but I uh...well we can go to the park." He cleared his throat and looked down to see he had no shirt. They must have taken his shirt because it had blood on it...he thought and walked to his closest. Taking out a green t-shirt he put it on and put his ear on the phone again. "so what do you say..."
"Sounds great. I'll meet you there in about five minutes." she said and then right before they went to hang up she caught him. "Hey Dallas?" she waited for a reply and then said "You know I love you right? I know that was kind of random but I don't feel like I say that enough anymore." Since her and Luke had started dating she had been kind of pushing Dallas away and it took something like this to make her realize it.
Grabbing her keys she headed downstairs to find a velvet box with her name on it.

A cold but surprisingly gentle hand rested on Seth's shoulder, and he looked to his right. The doctor was standing there, a sad smiled on his face and emotional tears glistening in his eyes. His eyes were a deep blue, Seth noticed, and they were really beautiful. In fact, the doctor himself was beautiful. He had a broad, tanned body that was muscular and handsome blonde/brown hair that was tasseled messily even though it was obvious a comb and gel went through his hair.
Why in the name of Jesus are you thinking about how beautiful that doctor looks when you're girlfriend just died? Are you trying to NOT be straight now? Do you really think that's what Micayla would've wanted?
Seth sighed and shook his head, clearing the thought from his mind.
"Please, let us have her for a moment," the doctor whispered. "We'll do everything we can. You can't keep her body. Her parents would want to do what's best for her. Perhaps what you want isn't what they want. They know her the best."
"Oh yeah?" Seth challenged. "I'd doubt that. They're SUPER models. They didn't care WHAT she did. They let her smoke and drink and almost let her ruin her life. I didn't. She trusted me. She trusted me when NO ONE ELSE DID. Isn't that enough? Her parents, they never spent time with her. They... they left her alone for days. They didn't care. I KNOW HER BETTER."
"Please," the doctor whispered. "Please hand her over."
Ic: Dallas nodded as if Scottie could hear him before hanging. "Yea me too loser." He tried to make himself feel better by joking around and when he hung up Dallas walked out his room and silently walked out the house while his patents cried. Dallas was relieved knowing the park was the opposite way from his brother's body. Not daring to look back he jogged the rest of the way to the park.
Scottie tried to smile but it just didn't seem right smiling on a day like this even if it was her birthday. Grabbing the box she opened it and saw a ring with a note attached to it. 'Happy birthday babe. You are always in my mind and forever in my heart. This ring is a promise to you that no matter what I will always love you and no amount of time or space will change that. All my love - Luke.' No matter how many times she reread the note she couldn't make him come back to her. She put the ring on her left ring finger and dried her eyes walking out the door towards her car.

Dallas made it to the park in no time.. It was closer to him then Scotie so he sat on a bench and waited. Looking at the ground an image of Johnny falling to the ground kept repeating itself over and over until Dallas finally looked up and concentrated on the street ahead of him, where Scottie would be driving by.
Scottie pulled intot he parking lot of the park and got out of her car. Her normally bright blue eyes were cloudy and red as she walked towards him. She kept spinning her ring around her finger and playing with it thinking about Luke getting hit and the feel of his lifeless body in ehr arms. "Dallas." she said holding out her arms for a hug which she depratly needed at the moment.

Dallas looked at Scottie and tried to keep his emotions hidden. Seeing his friends face he could tell something was wrong. Giving Scottie a hug Dallas held on because he needed the hug as much as Scottie. "Whats wrong?" He managed to say and let go of her.
She took a ragged breath and looked down for a moment after letting him go. "It's Luke." she said adn then after a pause she told him the whole story. "...There was blood everywhere. No matter where I looked it was red and all the guy could say was stupid kid should have been paying attention." A silent tear made it's way down her left cheek as she looked up at him. "It's not fair. I need him."

Dallas' heart raced as he listened too Scotties story. J-Johnny...died todat too." He looked at her his eyes clouded and hands shaking. Telling Scottie the whole story about his brother Dallas couldnt believe two people he knew died on the same day.
