"How bout we examine it a bit more?" she asked, sniffing around. A mouse ran out and Spectre woke up, scenting it. He leapt at it and ran down the hall way. "Wait! We don't know if there are any other dogs, hostile or not!" Arina called as he vanished down the left corridor, south eastern wing of the building.
IC: Dakota looked toward Arina and saw Spectre run down the stairs. Without warning she barked and ran after him. She tried to stop herself from chasing the cat but her instints insisted that she run after him and grab his body with her large teeth. Her eyes were focused on the cat as she leapt down the stairs within a few bounds. Hearing Arina shout Dakota growled at the cat. It wasn't other dogs she was worried about it was herself. Snapping at the cat's tail she barked irritated.
Spectre saw Dakota chasing him and yowled, giving up the mouse as it ran off, and streaking up hte wall. "GAAAAAHH! SORRY!" he yowled, seeing her snapping fangs. Arina ran down to them and climbed up the stairs, getting Spectre on her back, and then running like mad down the east corridor, eastern west wing of the building.
Dakota was focused on nothing else but the cat. Running after Arina she barked and leapt at the cat on the dog's back. Missing by an inch she knocked Arina to the ground and yiped as she landed on her nails. Shaking she looked at Spectre and watched him stay on the ground afraid. Without him running anymore Dakota calmed down and started to pant. "I-Im sorry..." She barked and looked at the ground so she wouldnt see the cat.
Spectre laughed, nodding. "Bah, it's okay, it happens occasionaly." he said, trying to cheer her up. Arina was sprawled on the ground, unsure of whether to get up of just lay there. Spectre was hopping around her ears. "C'mon! you okay?" he asked. She laughed and heaved a sigh. That had been crazy.
Dakota stayed looking at the ground knowing Spectre was hopping around Arina. If she looked up she would probably chase the cat again. "Since were over here, how about we explore the east side of the building." She barked and looked away from the two as she walked toward an open door leading to a hallway
Arina and Spectre followed. Spectre hopping onto Dakota's back. "There, now you won't have to run after me." he laughed. Arina followed, jogging with her and Spectre, who both were probably thinking the same thing.
Dakota flinched when Spectre jumped on her. "Yea, but your scent is stronger." She spoke with clenched teeth. Jogging she looked at how long the hallway was and flicked her ear and grinned trying not to think of chasing the cat. Jogging alittle faster then Arina, Dakota began picking her speed up until she began sprinting.
Arina ran beside her and Spectre jumped back onto her back as they crossed the hall. Suddenly, she stopped Dakota and sat still, seeing three large dogs growling in the hallway. They stopped growling when they appeared. "Oh, it's just a couple of ladies." one of them said in releif. "But what's with that wolfish one and the cat?" one of them asked, staring at Spectre, who gave a yowle of fear and crouched low on Arina's back. "And what's with the other one? She doesn't seem to like being around the cat." another said, staring at Dakota.
River chased after the older dogs. "Wait for me!" She yelped not wanting to be left alone. She raced along the corridors until she reached them. "Please don't leave me again.." She mumbled, shaking slightly.
