Arina looked back. "Erm...we kinda got into the wrong terra..." she muttered, backing away fromt he wilddogs, who stepped in closer, looking at Spectre.
"Erm...can't think, but I think they want Spectre really bad..." Arina said. The dogs pushed past, one leaping onto her back to get Spectre, and he bounded off with Arina trailing behind. "GET THST CAT!" roared the ring leader. Arina had Spectre back onto her back as she ran, and focused on a way to out smart those dogs.
River tried to outrun the wild dogs. She gave out a cry as a large dog smashed into her back. He pinned her down dragging his claws down her back. She scrabbled madly but the large dog had to good a grip on her. "Could do with a little servant like you.." He hissed. "Never no you might even bear my pups in the future..." River wimpere.
Arina heard this and gave a booming five barks as she slashed and snarled, biting the dog. She was in no mood for someone to mention that subject. She slashed up his face and left a scar over his eye, spectre yowling and hissing as he gouged it out. Arina was pretty mad about it, and attacked any dog who even came near any of them.
Arina smacked the dogs and they ran off. "Fine! Keep the cat, we'll be back!" one shouted. Spectre went over to the young pup hiding under Arina."You okay?" he asked, his ears flicking out to the sides.
River stared at the cat. "I I I" She stumbled over the words trying to keep a straight face. She managed for a few seconds before bursting into tears. "I thought they wer going to kill me.." She wept her eyes wide.
Arina and Spectre sat with her, Arina having her tail over the little one."So there had been other dogs, and hostile ones at that." she said. She turned to Dakota." So~anyone wanna check for other enemy dogs?" she asked. She spied someone peeking out from behind the wall, then vanishing as he saw her catch sight of him.She left Spectre witht he pup. "Stay right there! He could kill you!" she shouted, chasing after him as Spectre stared after her.
River watched the black dog racing off after the spy. She turned to the cat. She couldn't remeber ever coming so close to one. She just watched for Arina to return crying quietley.
