Name: Dumbledore's Army - Revenge Against Umbridge [A Harry Potter Roleplay]

Plot: The famous Harry Potter, a 5th year in Gryffindor, is commonly know to have sudden outbursts in Defense Against the Dark Arts, insisting to the cruel and evil teacher, Professor Umbridge, that Lord Voldemort was back. The Ministry of Magic loving freak refuses to believe Harry and often gives him detention. Which of course, causes Harry to absolutely HATE her. And not only does Harry hate her. Many students of Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, believe that she's a waste of time ; she refuses to teach them how to defend themselves against the dark arts, instead, she makes them read out of the textbook every day.

"Turn to page ____, read chapter ____. Wands away. There will be no need to talk."

She'd say that every day, the students know it by heart. So in return, Harry decided to open up a new group, Dumbledore's Army, which teaches students who wish to learn real Defense Against the Dark Arts. Keeping the group alive is a problem. Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, made Umbridge the 'High Inquisitor' of Hogwarts, inspecting teachers and even sacking some. And she makes stupid, pointless rules. It's up to Harry and the DA to stop her, and Voldemort, the dark wizard who killed many wizard and witches.

+ Please don't go emo and kill yourself.
+ Follow the storyline and DO NOT TAKE OVER THE ROLEPLAY.
+ This story takes place in Harry's 5th year, so you may be a 4th, 5th, or 6th year in GRYFFINDOR.
+ No spamming.
+ Don't center this RP around love.
+ If you're inactive for 7 days, i'll remove you unless you give me a reason not to beforehand. [ex: vacation, etc.]

Other: He's muggle-born and his best class is Defense Against the Dark Arts, although he's not bad like the Slytherins. Like Harry, he's talented in that class and can do many spells. He was furious when Umbridge didn't teach anything in Defense Against the Dark Arts because he was completely with Harry when he said that Voldemort was back. He joined the DA without hesitation.

[alexandria stands rather short at 5'0" exactly and has long blond hair with turquoise blue peek-a-boo highlights. she's rather pale, and has spider-bite lip piercings. she has an industrial bar piercing on her right ear, and on her left has her tragus and three cartilage piercings. when not in the hogwarts uniform you can find her in jeans and tight t-shirts. her blue eyes always have black eye liner and mascara around them. her eyes also change the shade of blue depending on the colors she wears.]
Personality: "not friendly." [she's a rebel in some aspects. doesn't enjoy the company of people her gender because she feels that they bring her pain and annoyance. a rebel. thats the only way to describe her.]
Other: she has this weird talent of... popping up in places... she's placed in griffindor, and is on the quidditch team. she joined harry mainly to defy umbridge but she found it to be fun.,

Appearance: Everything about Sylvia is short. Her 5'3 height, her silver hair, her attention spand and most of her shorts, which she wears year around almost. The only thing that stands out to most people are her eyes which are large and robin egg blue or the smile she always wears.
Personality: Sylvia always has a soft smile on her face and will love you unconditionally as long as you don't harm her or Poppie, her rat.
Other: Sylvia is a pure-blood witch and as far back as she could remember her family has always been put in Slytherin. When she didn't make the cut her parents were in an outrage but she was glad.

Name: Katiery Martinez
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Year in Hogwarts: 5th
Appearance: Fifth year Gryffindor robes, short brown hair, hazel eyes, about 5'0', and a weight of 120 lbs, skiny, smooth skin, faded grey jeans, a rede T-Shirt(dark red) and black tennis shoes. She basically doesn't like any thing flashy or frilly, hates dresses, hates make up, and just wears something comfortable.
Personality: On nice cool days she's calm, happy, and a bit bubbly. But when it's hot, she gets snippy and has heat exhaustion, so her personality varies with the weather and depends on if other people are feeling snippy. She's not too easily influenced either, and if she sees something wrong she will make sure she puts it to right, and most of the time she doesn't use magic as an answer to fights. SHe'd just go with some easy Karate she learned.
Other: Favorite color is blue, favorite music is rock or J-Pop, hates metal sounds like silverwear, is scared of Thunder and Lightening, but doesn't mind the dark too much.

Appearance: Jake is tall at 5'9". He's muscular and loved sports in america. He has one blue and one gold eye, and messy blonde hairr with natural lowlights. Has a crooked smile. 
Personality: Jake is very protective of his little sister. He's sarcastic, and is mean when he feels nessicary. He has a bit of a temper, and Emma's the only one known to stop his episodes. Jake doesn't care about grades, and has always looked on the fun side of things, a party boy at heart. Emma is his first priority, though he's now letting her have her space so he can focus a little more on Quidditch. 
Other: He transfered to Hogwarts last year with his little sister, Emmaline, when their parents died in a car crash. Emmaline Amber is in 4th year in the same house as him, and loves Quiddich.
