Seth smiled at Katiery and rolled his eyes. "Hey, don't mind Alex," he said, smiling. "She's not used to girls. Although it's kinda strange, you know? She's a gal, you're a gal, and she likes guys." He laugned and put his arm around Alexandria. "Alex, honey, try to be nice for a few moments. I mean, Katiery is in Gryffindor, with us! And.. all these people here ; we'll be in a group, fighting against Umbridge! How fun can that be!" He gave her a little hug, hoping she would keep her temper, at least for the day.

Alexandria leaned against Seth and sighed quietly in defeat. "If it makes you happy," she breathed. Her blue eyes scanned the room, and met Ron's for a second. He caused her papers to fly around the room one time. She didn't bother trying to get them back. "Hey, can I get another butter beer?" she asked George. He complied without saying anything. The meeting was going to begin any moment. However, many people were still speaking loudly. Sitting up straight, Alexandria pulled her hair back all the way (she didn't have side bangs, she just parts her hair to the side) and watched people that weren't from her house stare. She didn't mind it; she was no child.

Seth smiled. He finished his butterbeer and when George gave Alexandria another one, he handed him a sickle. "Tip me one as well," he said. He took his arm off of Alexandria's shoulder, and while doing so, he felt a tingle rise up in his stomach. At last, Hermione stood up and leaned against Harry's chair. Harry looked like he was about to faint, and Seth couldn't blame him. There were at least 40 people in this room. And that was the minimum.
Hermione cleared her throat for attention. Slowly, the room died down and everyone turned to stare at her.
"Hi." she said simply, nervous. "Um.. I guess you guys know why we're here. Because we need a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. I mean, I guess we have one. Not a very good one, that is."
A ripple of agreement flooded through the crowd.
"Well, Harry decided to teach us-"
Harry cut Hermione off.
"Hermione, I didn't agree ; or decide ; to teach Defense. You wanted to. I never really wanted to do this."
Hermione sighed. "Well... fine. But you gave in. We're here, because Harry is the best at Defense Against the Dark Arts in our year. Probably in our school! I mean, in our 1st year, he saved the Sorcerer's stone from You-Know-Who. 2nd year, he saved Ginny from the Chamber of Secrets. From You-Know-Who. 3rd year, he fought off a billion dementors single handed. 4th year... He made it through the Tri-Wizard tournament. And he's underage ; and still won. He's good at this stuff. He knows his magic."
"Hermione, you're making me sound like I'm special or what. The truth is.. I'm not that good." Harry stood up, for the first time. "It was all just luck. I really didn't know what I was doing half the time. I just followed my instincts -- and my wits. I don't know how I didn't get expelled... or killed. Life out there.. it's dangerous. You never know what to expect. The reason I gave in.... it's because you guys need to know how to defend yourselves. Voldemort's back. He killed Cedric."
People flinched when Harry mentioned Voldemort's name. Seth noticed Ron. But he, himself, didn't flinch. What was a name to be feared of?
"In school," Harry continued, "In school, it's fine. You mess up, that's okay. You can always have a 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th try. But in life, if you mess up the first time, you're dead. Like Cedric.
"You need to be prepared for Voldemort. And if Umbridge won't do it.... I will."
Hermioned looked utterly pleased.
"All right..." she said. "Um.. if you want to join, sign this paper so I'll know who's in and how many people... I put a charm on it so if Umbridge finds it, she won't be able to see who is on the list or what it's for."

Seth got up with the rest of the kids, and he helped Alexandria up. "Sounds good," Seth said. "I'm all in. You?"

Nothing much happened. We time-skipped to the meeting with Harry at Hogs Head. This post explains everything. The people are just sipping butterbeer and listening at Hogs Head. x)

Katieyr listened and then her smile faded a bit as the meeting began. She smiled as he concluded his speach. "I'm in, we need to be able to defend ourselve, not just learn how safe Umbridges little fantasey is from reading those text books." She said, standing up. "What good will it do to stay with Umbridge and act like we don't know what's out there?"

Alexandria let Seth help her up and gave a hearty laugh. "Anything to get Umbridge outta here!" she said with a smile. She looked around with the biggest grin. "I mean, I can't get in any more trouble... Umbridge hates me enough already, so what've I got to lose?" Her blue eyes shined as she smiled and then she stopped on a low chair so she was eye to eye with the tallest person in the room. She made eye contact with Harry and grinned. "People have probably already told you this, but you're destined for greatness. You'll be an amazing leader."

Seth smiled at Alexandria and made his way to the long line of the people signing the list. Everyone was in. He gave a small sigh of happiness. With this many people on the same line as Harry, Umbridge ought to be kicked out. He felt his spine tingle with excitement. And as his turn came up to sign the agreement, he took out his best quill and signed ; Seth Williamson - Gryffindor.
