Dempsey looked back at Guntur and thought for a moment. Looking to Cali he nodded. "I'll go back but I'm not going to take orders from Roan....or you right now." he growled and his fur began to stand with unease. "Lets go." he moved his nose to Cali and watched the forest, wanting to leave now.

Guntur nodded, then looked at Cali. "Follow me," he said, mostly to her, since Dempsey was clearly being stubborn. The beta started racing back to the den, and the ground started to shake with the force of the creature. It just made him run faster with fear. He suddenly wondered what was happening to the patrol. They couldn't fight it on their own. Fear gripped him for the patrol, but mostly Starcross.

Cali smiled at Dempsey and then darted after Guntur. Her long legs pushed her forward and she oculd have eaisly passed Guntur but she wouldn't because she was set on matching Dempsey's pace whatever it may be. "I propose that we go to sleep when we get back. What do you think?" she asked him smiling at her friend.

Guntur ignored Cali. He was too intent on worrying. He raced as fast as his legs could take him. He had to make it back to the den. He was going to drop these two off then go out to find Starcross. He had to. It was his job. No matter how fast he ran, the sound of the humans just seemed to come closer.

Dempsey raced after Cali and kept in pace with her. "Sounds good to me. Once this rumbling stops." he laughed but was terrified at the sound. Of course he wasnt going to tell her that. He saw the camp and almost felt bad they reached it so quick. Looking at Cali he tilted his head, and watched her as she ran. She could have gone faster but she seemed to want to stay in pace with him.

Guntur finally reached the den. He turned to the young hunters. "Stay here, please," he said. Udara was looking over at him. Guntur looked back. "I'll be back soon," he promised, then dashed back out into the territory.

"You aren't...scared are you?" she asked and smiled at him. Once they made it to the cave she slowed down and waited for Dempsey. "Come on Scardyclaws let's go chill in the back. Don't fret I won't let the big bad noise get you." she said the last sentence in a babyish voice and nudged him. Calie stretched and popped her shoulder which was catching again and the pop echoed through the cave.

Dempsey rolled his eyes and walked to the back of the cave. "Im not scared." he layed himself down and hoped the noise would go away. He almost jumped when Cali's shoulder popped and he quickly turned his head and started licking his side as if he had an itch. He hoped Cali hadnt seen him and he turned his head back to her when he wa finished.

Cali saw him jumped and laughed pushing past him playfully. "Don't hurt yourself big fella." she teased as she headed to their usual nap spot. She sprawled out on the floor and waited for Dempsey to meet up with her. The blonde wolf stretched into what seemed like an awkward position but it felt really good and her back popped. She was always popping something sometimes just to get on other wolf's nerves.

Dempsey got up and followed Cali. Sitting down he controlled himself when her back cracked and gave a small yawn. "I woke up awhile ago and Im still tired." He laughed and looked at cali. "I think Im spending to much time around you." The wolf stretched his legs gave a whine of content before plopping down on the ground.
