Guntur smiled and licked Starcross's ear. "It'll be okay," he said. He heard the howls from the pack. He guessed that extra patrols would be enough to just warn the pack of the humans were coming, but never to fight them.

Roan growled. "SILENCE!" he snarled. "We will send out patrols, starting now, understood? If anyone else has any other ideas, come to talk to me," he ordered. He turned from the confused, scared, furious pack and returned to his den.

Cali was still sleeping in her usuall nook at the very back. Normally somebody would come wake her up but not this morning. When Roan silenced Starcross she woke up. "Son of a-Thanksfor waking me up guys..." she shook herself and cursed her blonde fur for a moment as she snuck up to the rest of the clan. "Thanks for waking me up." she said to Dempsey bumping into him gently. "What did I miss?" Cali had to whisper very softly because her voice was like windchimes and it carried exspecially in the cave.

Dempsey turned to look at what bumped into him and flicked his tail to Guntur when he saw Cali. "Guntur found some human things out in the territory today. So Roan just called a meeting about being more careful and patrols." He stuck his tongue out in an annoyed way. For some reason he never liked the alfa and didnt care much about anything he said although the human thing was important. The gray and brown wolf yawned and looked at Cali waiting for a reply.

Startled at Roan's sudden rudeness, Starcross sighed. "He must be really uspet," she murmured to Gunner. "Oh, I hope we can win this battle. This sounds so stupid. Fighting against those humans. We're so much smaller than them, and so much less. How would we ever win?" She shook her head and allowed herself to rest her head on Gunner's shoulder. She needed peace, and time to think. This was all too much.

Guntur sighed. "We have to fight, it's the only way," he said. He wondered when the first patrols would be sent out. Starcross was right. They would lose so many wolves in the fight. He turned to Roan's den. "I think we should go talk to Roan about all of this," he said. He stood and shook the dust from his fur. "Come on, this is important," he said.

"Bleh, why don't we just like stay out of the way? I doubt it will even bothe us." she siad shrugging. Cali was sort of a could care less persong her favorite reply was 'Blehh' when somebody asked her if she wante dot do something. She'd much rather sleep the day away then hang out and go on patrols. She hated to watched wolves who were always all over each other and she swore that'd never be her.

"Yea, try telling that to Roan." Dempsey barked and stood up seeing that the meeting was over. Shaking his pelt he looked at the other wolves around him and shrugged. Sure the human thing was important but they were most likely going to leave once they saw the wolf pack. Dempsey thought and didnt really want to be stuck on a patrol so he turned away from everyone and nodded to Cali. "Well I dont want to get stuck on a patrol and go sight seeing for humans so if you dont mind me I'll be hiding next to the cave." he laughed alittle then shook his head and jogged over to the side of the cave den.
