Ooc: I'm sorry, but Oona doesn't know about the dogs at the university yet, just Luka and Ego do
Ic: Luka growled, ducking and avoiding the strike. "Listen! If we want to beat them, we don't have to train as hard as we can, we have to stop fighting is the first thing, and second, there's nothing we can do. Everyone's just going to look to the council for help! They don't need us!" he barked. He was trying to hold back anger. Who was she to tell him to be realistic? He was probably the most realistic one there. And no one had ever said that he had leadership skills. He wasn't leader of anything!
Meanwhile, at the council building, dogs that had heard of the army were filing inside. "You have to do something!" one dog howled. The leader of the council shook his head. "We're not sure what to do at this time!" he barked. The dogs were starting to get angry at each other. "All we know is we have to fight, but we do not have enough numbers yet to fight them. We'll have to move our spot," he said. "They'll find us there too!" a female dog cried out. "It's all we can do. It will take them a little longer to get to us if we move farther away, ad then we'll have more time to gather forces." The dogs argued a little longer, then the oldest member of the council, one who hadn't said anything yet, stepped forward. "We can't do anything, but we must remember those who saved us from the university, and now, we must call upon their great-grandichildren to lead us."

OOC: Just pretend she was referring to the people.
IC: Oona growled aggresively. "Everyone will have to fight if we want a chance of survival!" She spat, pacing up and down angrily. "Don't you know what will happen to us Luka? Slaves! Test subjects! Fighting dogs! They'll beat us and enslave us and you know what! If all the dogs here are as lazy as poor old tired Victora then perhaps we derserve it!" Oona spat.
Luka sighed. "Listen, we're doing the best we can. If you open up, you'll see that. Not everyone physically can fight, but we're training them as best we can." He thoughe ahead and avoided what he thought Oona's next comment would be. "They don't all have time to train as much as you do, in fact, not a lot of them do. And if we train some of the young ones as much as you train, they could die from being pushed too hard. Please, gine them time. I understand what it means too." Luka couldn't believe it. This younger dog was treating him like crap. He wouldn't stand for that.

A small laugh fell from Oona's mouth yet it was not one of joy. "They will die anyway if they don't train! And surely an honourable death is better than slavery!" Oona spat.
Turning his head to listen to the dogs now Ego had to agree with Oona in some way. If they didn't train they would all die from being weak and the humans would capture or kill them within minutes. Although Luka had a point too. If they over trained the pups or anyone else they would surely die by themselves or won't have enough energy to fight.
Luka sighed. "You're right there, but we are training them, just not as much as you are," he said. Nothing she said had hit him that hard, and he wasn't intimidated by Oona at all. He knew that she could hurt him, but he didn't care. She didn't scare him.

Oona laughed. "I shall warn you now Luka but I do not intend to stay on the losing team whichever side that may be." She hissed, her eyes cold. Her survival mattered more than any of this flea bitten bunch, even if it meant betraying them.
Luka sighed, seeing there was no stopping this dog. "We have to work together if we want to survive. Nothing has ever come of anyone trying to go it alone except death." He turned and walked back to Ego. "Fine, I'll just let her kill every dog here that doesn't train as much as she does," he growled.

Luka growled low in his throat. "You watch your back," he snarled. He knew that he could always tell his father about it, who would tell his friend in the council, who would tell the council who would certainly do something about it, but that would actually give Oona a reason to hold a grudge against him.
