Skypaw padded in to the clearing a mouse and a squirrel dangling from her jaws, quickly she despoisted them on the pile waiting for some worlds of praise yet none came. She scowled angrily noticing eveyone was gathering around a strange cat. She screwed up her nose in disgust. "You can't tell me were allowing a kitteypet to join are ranks!" She hissed, unsheathing her claws and dragging them along the dirt. Why did they want kitteypet stink filling the camp?
Twilight nodded at Moonsong, taking a step back from the seeds. There were plants that could put her to sleep? "Err... Thanks, but I'm not quite ready to go to bed." She mewed apologeticlly.
Goldenstar turned to Dawnfur, but announced his reply loud enough for the clan to hear, "This is a kittypet by the name of Twilight. We're low on clan members, so we're going to take in an outsider. Dawnfur, if you don't mind, I'd like you to mentor her and help her get settled into clan life. She'll stay in the warriors den." Goldenstar departed with a nod, leaving no time for arguements.
Twilight pricked her ears at Sunpelt. "She's awfully small, isn't she? You sure she will make it out here in the wild?" Her tail drooped a little. Cats weren't judgemental of her in her dreams. "Of course I can, I'm perfectly big enough to live up to you guys." Twilight stuck her chin up stubbornly, looking straight into the fox-like tom's hazel eyes. She knew that she wasn't as big as them, but that wouldn't stop her from arguing with the cat.
"You can't tell me we're allowing a kittypet to join our ranks!" a little voice mewed from behind her. Twilight spun around, facing her other attacker. "I'm good enough." She said, less forcefully this time.

Moonsong watched the whole meeting with a faded smile on her pretty blue-gray face. Her eyes showed no emotion, though she was afraid Twilight wouldn't be able to take on Skypaw if they got onto a fight. The kittypet, not trying to be rude or anything, had no training of warrior life, and was fragile compared to Skypaw, who already trained as an apprentice for awhile. She turned back to Twilight. "It's not to make you go to bed," she replied. "It's to let you get tired so you can have a good night's rest to recover your strength, and then get ready for tomorrow's training. Warrior life isn't easy, Twilight." She turned around and walked a little away, to stand next to Goldenstar. "Besides," she said again, "You have no need to eat it now. You can eat it before you want to sleep." Moonsong said it all without catching Twilight's eye. She kept her head lowered and tail by her side.
The blue-gray was never the biggest fan for training a life to fight. "Warrior life isn't easy." she said. And it really wasn't. She watched as her denmates, as a kit, play fought, and she watched when apprentices came back with food for the clan, or coming back to camp after a long, hard day of training. Moonsong watched as warriors died from battle, and as tired cats came back, slouching into their dens or towards the medicine cat. She never wanted that kind of life, instead, she was attracted to the sorts of herbs medicine cats used to heal injured cats. She began hanging around their former medicine cat, Roseheart, and when she came of age to become an apprentice, she quickly decided to train as a medicine cat apprentice.
ooc] lawl. i really hope this is okay, lily (: just trying to get a little background off of Moonsong. tell me if this is wrong, and i'll correct it. :D
Dawnfur thought about this. Training a kittypet clan life? This wasn't going to be easy. He looked at Twilight. He didn't like this idea, and snorted. Why did he have to do it? Probably because he was an experienced warrior and may be able to handle it better than the others. He scratched the earth, scraping deep scores in the dirt. He stepped toward Twilight. He didn't want to welcome this cat into their clan. His eyes narrowed as he padded up to her. "My name is Dawnfur," he said, a slight edge to his tone.

Sunpelt's hazel eyes lit up brightly for a moment, "Well, shes got some fight in her! Perhaps Im wrong." The dark ginger and white tom padded a little closer and smiled at the she cat, "We'll see though. Have fun. Being a warrior is really great and if your supposed to be here then you will prove it to us." He pulled back and shrugged his shoulders. "Good luck Dawnfur!" he chuckled as he padded back to the fresh-kill pile. He flicked his tail back and forth relaxedly. He tossed a glance at Goldenstar and then Moonsong before chuckling and going about his own buisness.
Skypaw rolled her eyes her fur puffing up. "Well whatever you do don't come near me! I don't want your kitteypet stink blocking up my nose!" Skypaw snapped a scowl forming from her lips. She padded off to the fresh-kill pile grabbing a small vole for herself then scanning the camp for her mentor, she wanted him to check a move she'd learned.
OOC: Does anyone want tom be Skypaws mentor or can I make one up?
OOC: My fault for the late post, I had to leave early yesterday :P Ok...let's see if I can get this right.
IC: Starpaw sat in the middle of the rest of the clan that was still observing the kitty-pet. The she-cat seemed pretty nice and looked like she would be a great addition with alittle practice. Getting up he walked over to the kitty-pet but stood a few mouse-lengths away. "Im sure you'll make a great warrior." He commented and backed off to let the other cats continue their conversations with her. Walking over to the apprentice's den he sat down outside of it and watched the new cat from a distance.
