ooc:: Jayflight |m| dark gray tabby with green eyes Apprentice: Skypaw
So sorry guys! My internet connection was zapped from something my brother downloaded, and I only just got it back. I'm sorry for the inconvenience! (:
ic:: Twilight turned her head to acknowlage Moonsong. "...Warrior life isn't easy, Twilight." Twilight blinked at the she-cat in reply, the fur on the back of her neck standing up. This cat was a little breezy and odd. "Besides," the she-cat said in a less serious tone, "You have no need to eat it now. You can eat it before you want to sleep." Twilight glanced at the clan around her, wondering why this cat was able to order her to do things. Shrugging, she nodded her head to be polite.
A handsome tom approached her, and she twitched an ear. His eyes narrowed, and she immediately felt unwelcome. She narrowed her eyes right back at him. If he didn't want to act nice, then she didn't want to either. "My name is Dawnfur." he told her in a thick tenor. She picked up a paw and scratched the ground underclaw. "You can call me Twilight." the she-cat replied in a half-icy tone, the same short way he did.
"Well, she's got some fight in her! Perhaps I'm wrong." the fox-like tom from before said, humor in his tone. She whipped her head at him and flashed her teeth. "We'll see though. Have fun. Being a warrior is really great and if your supposed to be here then you will prove it to us." He pulled back and shrugged his shoulders. Twilight was confused by his sudden niceness. Was this what these cats acted like all the time? Nice, mean, nice, mean? How could she tell who her friends were? "Good luck Dawnfur!" he chuckled as he padded back to the fresh-kill pile. Mean again. Her brow furrowed as she thought about his actions.
"Well whatever you do don't come near me! I don't want your kitteypet stink blocking up my nose!" The firey small cat snapped. Twilight didn't pay her any more attention. She was growing tired of the anger and resentment. Cats were retreating to their duties, judgement and gossip hot on their lips. Another apprentice approached her, and his air was more like the she-cat who gave her seeds. "I'm sure you'll make a great warrior." He said simply, turning to go about clan life. Surprised, Twilight murmered a thank you.
She took a deep breath, really looking around for the first time. The dens in the camp were constructed of plants. The only familiar one to her was the ferns, her twoleg had it growing in her yard. the camp was big, more than enough room for the small clan that inhabited it. It was early afternoon, about the time she'd stop for a nap. She shook her head. She really needed to stop that habit if she was to live up to the cats in her dreams. But her differences from the clan were alarmingly obvious. She had a twang to her voice that was much different than the cats in the clan had. Her fur was much more kept and sleek. Her pads were raw from the journey, but she bit her lip and endured it. The grass underpaw felt much better than the stones and dirt she'd scraped across getting there. She'd walked along high fences and narrow strips, so her ballence was great, her steps were graceful. But looking around, that wasn't much of an advantage. There wern't alot of obstacles to manuver. With a sigh, she turned to her mentor. "So what first?"

Moonsong slowly stepped back, allowing Twilight to have some space. She didn't want to harass the new member of the clan, like some of the clam members wanted. Instead, she felt like giving Twilight some space was the best. The she-cat wasn't a waste to the clan, Moonsong could tell. She wasn't scared of the 'forest cats', nor was she fighting every single one of them. But Twilight did seem pretty determined. She smiled and then walked next to Goldenstar. "I think she'll do in the clan," she murmured to the leader of the clan.
OOC; Dont worry Lily we wont have just two people posting per page cause its technically against the rules of the RP board XD Anyway, here we go!
Sunpelt sat by the freshkill pile when a friend of his, Darkfeather, approached to eat his fill. Sunpelt flicked his tail side to side and nodded his head in greeting. The other tom did the same before Sunpelt stood and moved away. So now what? It the day had started out interesting with the arrival of the new she cat but went right back to normal aftwards. The fox colored tom frowned slightly. Perhaps he could go bug the she cats. Naw... They would just end up clawing his fur off. Oh! Maybe he could go tell a few jokes to the guys! But no... He was running out of good jokes and the last time he tried that it didnt end very well. A sigh passed over the tom's lips. Might as well go talk to Dawnfur or Goldenstar for an assignment. He stood and trotted toward the deputy but he seemed a little busy with his new apprentice. A twinge of frustration pulled at Sunpelt's stomach. Yet with a deep breath it passed. Finally he decided it was just best to go talk to Moonsong. Perhaps she would know what to do. Perhaps she needed more herbs or something. The thought of gathering herbs didnt really appeal to the ginger cat but what can you do right? He didnt want to bug the leader, not when he disappears in to his den like that right? "Here goes nothing..." Sunpelt murmured before trotting across the camp and toward the medicine cat's den.
Dawnfur nodded to Twilight. First thing first, he would have to show her around the territory. He could do this, training this new cat. He knew he'd teach her to be a great warrior. He couldn't back down now. It wouldn't look good on his part, and he'd show the clan he could do it. It would earn him a lot more respect if he could make a warrior out of a kittypet. The tom stepped toward Twilight. "I can understand if you need to rest first, but you can let me know when you're ready to begin training." With a flick of his tail, the deputy stalked away toward the fresh-kill pile.
