I started my story like, two weeks ago. Unfortunately, given family pressure, a certain incident at my school last week, writer's block, having to run an RPG, school in general and a million other things, I'm only at like, 1,700 words, if even that. :/
Congrats on reaching 10000, though, Taylor! ^_^

To answer your question, it goes with them and depending on the nature of the wound it could be worse because the body shapes are different so the wound be located in a slightly different location.

Even if you don't finish it this month, you could still work on it beyond NANO. Maybe you'll ahve better luck after november.
quick question: If a shapeshifter gets injured, what happens to that injury when they shift to a different form?
That's true. And I've actually found my solution -- quantity comes first, quality comes second. Because that's what the whole point of NaNo is. XP
And shapeshifters tend to carry injuries over to their new forms, at least if you're going by my vision of them. It just seems fairer to do that. And like Shatter said, depending on what they transform into afterward, the degree of the injury could be less or more -- if they got stabbed in, say, the shoulder as a human and transformed into a dog, then the injury would be so severe as to kill them, but if they transformed into a mammoth it probably wouldn't be as bad.
Assuming I'm interpretting that right, I'd say shoot it and try to kill it while it's distracted. You're probbaly going to lose your dog either way, but at least he'll down down knowing that the werewolf was either injured or killed alongside him, right? :3
:d yep although I love my dogs to death x-x I'd probaly do something stupid like jumping in front so they could run but I know they'd try and beat it up and still die x-x pus I'm gun shy XD
Hmmm...the one wo'd probably be most pridefull about that is my dog sassy :D
