Desoto carried the bucket full of food back to the others. When he reached them, he dropped it. "Enjoy," he said. He was sort of glad that he was able to help them, but this was also helping his cause by showing them that he could take care of himself.

Brielle was thinking about what Alaya had said earlier about 'Joining their pack'. Brielle had thought about joining or creating a pack but she didn't think any dog would be up for it. Her focus snapped back to the wolf when she began speaking about her mother. The only words she heard where 'my mother is...Dead!' The australian shepherd as if automatically stepped toward Alaya and put her muzzle on her cheek to show how sorry she was. "Im sorry for your loss. My mother and father both died as well. My mother when I was just a pup and my father only a few days ago..." She frowned and took a step back. "I don't really have a pack but if you want we can start one." She turned her head when she heard Desoto's voice. "For us? Thanks" She smiled and took a small piece of chicken out of the bucket then placed it on the ground in front of her. "Um...you know...I was just talking about maybe starting a pack, and well you seem like a strong dog for your size so I was wondering if..." she trailed off not knowing whether she should finish the question or not.
Desoto scowled when Brielle remarked about his size, but she said that he was strong, so he let it slide. He thought for a while. He didn't need a pack. He could take care of himself, but he really liked having company around that he could show he was the best. He sighed. Well, he could join now and leave whenever he wanted, so it kind of seemed like a no-brainer. "All right, I'm in," he said.

OOC: If Aura replies soon I'll make it so the city starts attempting to move the dogs farther away from the city and they start their journey
Brielle's ears perked up when she heard Alaya and Desoto agree. "Great." She smiled alittle and looked around wondering if she should ask the dog from before if she wanted to join as well. If I see her again I'll ask. The australian shepherd reminded herself then gave a small nod and began eating the chicken.
Alaya over the sent of chicken could smell a strange smell. It sented really bad. A lot of noise was coming in that dierection too. She looked around the corner she was sitting on and saw a huge black path with metal beast running across it. She could see a bit of foul looking black stuff. "It must be hard to live in this forest. If it is a forest that is." she murmured then went back to her new pack.

IC: Brielle finished her chicken and looked up at the sky with her bright blue eyes. It was still the afternoon and everything seemed unchanging until a loud bang sounded from the city entrance. The australian shepherd quickly turned her head when she heard the dogs barking and some running past. "W-What's going on?" Her voice cracked and she focused her eyes to see the humans of the city coming out with thick suits, and different things in their hands. They began pushing the dogs away by either hitting them or shouting just to scare them. It seemed as if the humans didnt even want the dogs near them anymore. A dalmation ran by Brielle almost knocking her down but she regained her balance and watched not knowing what to do. They could either fight back or run for their lives.
"So whose alpha?" Alaya asked. Suddenly many dogs started barking. A dalmation almost ran Brielle over. "Humans!" a dog howled. Hairless creatures were everywhere! Her new pack was in trouble! She had to act fast! Suddenly she remembered were the forest was. "We have to reatreat to the forest!" she called hoping that her pack could hear.

Brielle looked frozen as she stared ahead at the humans. Only a few weeks ago she was sitting with her master in the front yard watching the city and everyone in it and now here she was being forced to leave evrything she knew. Alaya's voice reached her ears and she quickly turned her head. "T-The forest? B-But I've never been to the forest..." The brown dog gave a slight shiver and felt another dog bump into her. She gave a small yip and spun around. The humans were getting closer. Brielle looked back at Alaya then Desoto. She could go to the forest but who knew what lay ahead.
Desoto watched the dogs barreling out of the city. He shuddered slightly, but he couldn't let anyone know he was scared. When Alaya mentioned the forest, he gulped. He'd never been there. He didn't know if he would be able to survive there. But, he needed to act. He needed to protect his pack. He turned to Alaya, and, keeping the fear from his voice, he growled, "Take us there! We have to go, now!" He tried to make himself seem like he had authority here. How else could he get the others to listen. "Come on!" he snarled impatiently.
