Nightfang listened to Wolfheart's story, though to be honest she didn't remember any of these events happening when she was younger. Then again she had been to wrapped up in Rainfall. Still not feeling exactly friendly with Wolfheart, Nightfang flicked her tail back and forth, "Well I'm sorry for your loss. It sounds like a horrible ordeal. Now that its all over we might want to get back to the task at hand." She turned away from the other she-cat, sending a glance toward Bearfur. She began to pad away and called out, "Now might not be the best time to be telling each other their secrets." Inwardly, Nightfang felt sympathy for Wolfheart's ordeal, but she had no time to be thinking about that now. The battle was approaching to fast and there was nothing she could do for the other she-cat. Not that she wanted to do anything anyway. It was still to soon after the eavesdropping.
Sighing, Bearfur stood to follow after Nightfang. Without looking back, he spoke; "I'm sorry. I don't remember Mountainpaw. I don't remember much from then. All I really remember was being with Silverdream." With a deep breath, Bearfur trudged after his friend, making his presence known. Lightly brushing shoulders with Nightfang, he smiled softly. "I just don't feel like going into battle with that on my shoulders, yeah?" He said nothing more, just content with followinh his friend. Most cats were preoccupied and not bothering with others. It was time to rest up and make sure everything was ready. Closing his eyes, he didn't miss a step as he took a deep breath. It's nice weather today, he thought in passing; Maybe it'll be just as nice tomorrow, and the day after -- or even better, maybe this tortuous journey will be at its end. He didn't smile at the thought, but kept a passive face as he opened his eyes.

Nightfang said nothing when Bearfur approached her. Her face still held a scowl but as he started talking it dissipated. The she-cat slowed her pace so that they weren't in a hurry to get back to camp. She let the silence drag on for a while longer before she sighed, "I'm sorry Bearfur. I know that I've been acting like a spoiled kit." Nightfang let her eyes drop so that they looked to the ground as the two moved along. "Its just... I want this to all be over, or at least go back to normal," the tabby she-cat turned her amber eyes to Bearfur's face, "I just want to go back to Lionclan camp... I want to be sent on a patrol by Emberfang, hunt beside you on the moors, visit my little cousins in the nursery... I just want things back to the way they were." She sighed and looked away, "I want this night to be over..."
Cliffheart frowned at Petaldancer. "Well, this isn't the most convenient time to fall in love, but it can't be helped," he said, with amusement in his voice. Lowering it, he went on. "Anyhow, you know that tonight you might lose him, and all of us. We might lose you. But all I want to say is that you remember that you're LionClan through and through, and that you do what you know is right. You're valuable to us because of your bravery in getting TigerClan to trust us, and for coming here in the first place. You must know that you've earned your place with us, and tonight is the night to show where your real loyalties lie." Cliffheart stopped and took a deep breath. He lowered his breath even more and whispered to his warrior, "You must know that I fear tonight some of the patrol may possibly turn on us out of some sick turn of events. There are some I know that wouldn't do that, like you and Nightfang, but the rest are a bit...iffy, if you will. Bearfur has been scaring me a bit lately, and who knows what Wolfheart's been thinking lately." He stopped and swallowed hard. "Just please, do your best and let's make..." The tom paused a bit and nervously looked around. "...Let's make StarClan proud tonight, shall we?"

OOC: I can't promise anything, but we won't get to far ahead seeing as this RP doesn't get as many posts as you think it does ^^" I will try to make it so that we don't get to far ahead, if we get ahead at all
Her eyes widdened as she heaard the word "StarClan" escape his lips, the ever wandering cats of the sky. In theory, Petaldancer was indecided when the topic came to if the two clans had "gaurdians" or not. It wasn't that she did not believe in her anscestors, it was that she was skeptical of the theory that after a cat passed away it would return up to the heavens to live out it's life with other fallen warriors. A "myth" that Petaldancer's mother had once told her was that once a StarClan is ceased to be remembered, it dims into a kind of faint image of what it once was. Coming back to reality, Petaldancer gave a brief nod and mewed, "We shall."
Closing his eyes, Bearfur nodded no. "It can never go back to normal, Nightfang... I wish for it to as much as you, but the probability of that happening is so frighteningly slim that I don't know what to expect after tonight." Looking at the sky for a moment, Beafur contemplated his next words. Finally, he chose them and looked at Nightfang. "How to put this... I don't think I will ever be the same, yeah? This whole mission has changed me. I don't know if it was for the better - and I definitely doubt it was for the better - but I know that you've changed, too. And so has everyone else." Shrugging, he smiled. "But worrying is getting us nowhere, yeah? All I know is that tonight... Tonight I will try my hardest. And I don't know if that will be enough, but it's what I have to offer." He enjoyed the easy pace of walking and sighed once more. "You know, I'm not sure where this is going. I guess I'm just nervous." Laughing sheepishly, if he could have wiped his brow, he would have. He knew he changed - too much, almost. He knew he was becoming something else. Something so much more sober and free of fun. Something that couldn't hear a laugh without cringing and couldn't laugh without a sneer. Who couldn't smile without a grimace and see a smile without looking away. Something that took away all the fun and happiness of life and replaced it with heavy thoughts. Something so far from what he aimed to be. And that scares me the most.

Ooc: Hello again. Nice to see you all. That trip was a blast! Croatia. There so many cats!
Ic: Wolfheart went off and caught one of the fattest rabbits she had ever seen. It was the same size of herself! She took it and put it in the servant pile. There was a scrawny mouse and a chaffinch that looked old and tough. The rabbit seemed many times larger then all the prey put together! She sat and looked at the sky burning bright above her. "Thank you StarClan for putting this noble prey here in the lands. It is worthy of being eaten by us and we thank you for all prey." she whispered and dropped it in the tiny pile.
